  1. Did you follow these instructions to the letter? If not, then start again following the instructions.
  2. Having at least one incandescent bulb on the same dimmer as LED bulb will nearly always eliminate flicker, but expect the dimming rate to be different--by a lot.
  3. Does the entire program not run or only up to a point?
  4. Correct.
  5. Having the dimmer in proximity of the ToggleLinc won't help. The 2-wire dimmer is RF only. The ToggleLinc is power line only. The dimmer needs to communicate with a dual-band device.
  6. I'm using a FanLinc with Sylvania dimmable LED bulbs. No problems, no flicker at even low levels. You may want to try a different brand LED bulb with your FanLinc.
  7. The actual change is at 2AM. If you only need a checklist, why does it have to be at that specific time? Wouldn't the evening before or the morning after the change be adequate.
  8. We use a KPL button by the side door (leads to the garages) to control our garage doors. No need to pullout a smartphone, enter a security code, tap an app and then select an operation. The KPL button is ready for a single finger tap. The button LED indicates the state of the garage door. I can also use a smartphone.
  9. Post the program(s) that don't function correctly.
  10. Select Enable Content.
  11. You can't delete the scene from the button, but you can delete the button from the scene. Select the scene, right click on the device you want to delete. No one will delete a post. It's up to you. Note: once someone replies, the post can't be deleted.

  13. Note the time of the two responses. It wasn't obvious when I replied
  14. Teken, Z-wave device don't need nor do they use the PLM at all.
  15. I have one from when it was called an EZ2X4. I used HouseLinc at that and haven't used it for several years after switching the ISY.

    Program Limit

Maybe no one has reached that limit. so I'll ask you the same questions, what happens? Are you just not able to create new programs? Or can you create new programs but only 1,000 of them will execute?
  17. Thanks, that works
  18. There are several methods depending on your expertise and level of security required. The easiest and least secure is to forward a port and use your WAN address. Or you can purchase the portal and log in from anywhere. That method is easy and secure. At $49/2 yr subscription it's not too costly. You could follow the instructions in this guide. Others methods include a DNS service (some are free, some are not) or your router may include a free service.
  19. Check Java. Is "Keep temporary file on my computer," selected?
  20. After replacing the battery, set the MS to linking mode and query it. Another solution is to use a program to update the sensor: IN Front Hall Sensor If Control 'IN / Devices / IN Front Hall-Sensor' is switched On Then Set 'IN / Devices / IN Front Hall-Sensor' Write Device Updates Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') I actually have the program disabled (to save the battery) and I run [THEN] when needed.

    New Dot

One of my Dots close to the router just lost it connection, so I power cycled it according to your suggestion. Voila! After a light show which began with a spinning bright blue light that got faster and faster until it started flashing, the Dot sang Hello. Connection restored.
  22. You need to create a separate scene for each button. Each scene should have all buttons as reponders and one button as a controller (any button that's a controller is also a responder). Set the controller button to the On-level you want and all other button to off (0%).

    New Dot

I occasionally experience a loss of connection from my Echos/Dots furthest from the WiFi source. If I don't need that device, I wait and it corrects itself. If I'm in the area, the Echo/Dot gives a warning and spins orange. I haven't tried the methods you mention.
  24. I need to use both spoken words.
  25. Only a device can be dimmed to a percent using the Amazon Echo. But, you can dim/brighten a scene. Ask Alexa to dim/brighten the scene name and the load will dim/brighten about 9% from its current setting. Each time you issue the command the load will change 9%, so you may want to issue the command two or three times. Another method, if you use only two or three fixed levels, is to create a scene for each level. For example, I have kitchen dim, kitchen light and kitchen bright.
