Refurbished 2450 IO Linc cannot be added.
The HouseLinc devices.xml file also shows an interesting 2450 I/OLinc with 50/60 cycle auto select. It also has a different Sub Cat 0D. Along with a 2248-222,-422,-442,-522 series of I/O Modules that all have new Sub Cat IDs. From the suffix numbers. It could be they are now going international.

Error with mini-remote on every update
Since it is a battery powered device. It goes into a power saving mode and can't be accessed. Did you wake it up first. Then make the changes. Hold the Set Button until it beeps. Then try and make the updates.

Refurbished 2450 IO Linc cannot be added.
By chance is there a model number and hardware revision sticker on the I/OLinc? Reason I asked. Is I have seen some new I/OLIncs and a unreleased I/O module number. In the HouseLinc Devices.xml file with different Sub Cat numbers. What power requirements are listed on the back label?

Programs stopped running last night
I know my 4:50AM and 8:00AM programs ran today. They are showing Status False and the Last Run and Last Finished areas are blank. All the Next Run Times are showing a valid correct time for them to run.

ISY994 program to send cmd1/cmd2?
Stacking Insteon Modules is not the best idea. Heat will build up in the modules and may shorten their lives. I have a few 2456S3 old hardware ApplianceLincs stacked and they get very warm. I have had a fes of them fail. Though they are from early 2006. Older users manuals discouraged stacking them.

ISY99 Reformatted SDCard, can't get to http interface.
This wiki page may assist you. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... an_SD_Card When you formatted the SD card. You wiped out the firmware stored on it.

testing line/load
The two wire SwitchLinc requires an incandescent load to work. As it steals power through the load. If your load is not incandescent it will not work. Some dimmable LED bulbs MAY work but you would be on your own testing it.

keypad button to indicate status of and control entire floor
When you changed the PLM. Did you power up the PLM then the ISY controller. So it found the new PLMs ID? Then used the Restore Modem (PLM) choice in the files menu? That should have made the changes to all the devices with out a manual restore. Other than battery devices that had to be put into the Linking Mode first.

testing line/load
The Quick Users Guide and Full Users Manual shows the Black to Line and the Red to Load. Only one of the wires on the original switch should have 120 volts AC on it to neutral or ground and that would be the Line. There is a possibility you could read back through the load with a high impedance meter. If you test with the load disconnected in the fixture or the bulbs removed. That would remove any leakage back through the light bulbs.

Anonymous hacked/attacked ISY
I have seen web articles on how easy some Home Automation installations have been hacked. I had seen the HUB mentioned a few times but not any others. Until now. That is scary. Insteon.com actually had a response to the HUB hacking information. http://www.insteon.com/Press080213.html

If you don't have the full users manual yet. http://www.insteon.com/pdf/2477S.pdf Pages 5-7 may give you a start with some information on three or more switches.

2635-222 On/Off module, random beeps, Device options?
Teken; Wise move. I have gotten more information from members like LeeG, ELA, Indy Mike and jdale, to name a few. Than I ever got from my Developers Group membership. There is no added information on Smarthops. Not already given in the White Paper. Except one brief mention in the last I2CS notes they gave us.

Very large install options
You may want to get some data on how much noise is floating around on the power lines. Industrial settings could have lots of noise and spikes on the power lines from machinery.

2635-222 On/Off module, random beeps, Device options?
I have not seen anything on those options yet. Though Smartlabs has not even given us a Developers Notes File on it yet. I did see your post on the Smarthome Forums. I have seen a reference to your smarthops question in the I2CS Developers Notes.

unrecognised Smarthome 2635-222 ApplianceLinc
In the diagnostics tests. Show Device Links table for the module you want to look at. Then when the test is done. Use the compare choice and see if the ISY known links matches the ones in the module. You may see a Identical/Ignore on the last link line. That is the first unused link in the modules database. I would have though the remove existing links when the module was added to the ISY setup should remove the possible old links from a module. If a Factory Reset is not easy to do. Though it would not remove any X10 addresses from factory tests. I have not see a Insteon command to remotely Factory Reset a module.

Factory Reset. Especially any module you had in a different setup. Like a HUB. Some of us do a factory reset on all new modules also. Seems some new modules get out of the factory with test links in them.

unrecognised Smarthome 2635-222 ApplianceLinc
I don't think it is a firmware thing. I have real old hardware 1.3, I1 Protocol, Firmware .28 Hardware 4.1, I2 Protocol, Firmware .32 Hardware 4.A, I2CS Protocol, Firmware .42 All of them where added to my system with few problems. The 4.A gave me some issues. I had to put it real near the PLM to add it. As a test. I got out three unused ApplianceLincs. One of each version of the ones I listed above. All three installed correctly. On the outlet the PLM was in.

That looks like the error log. The file from the event viewer should have a file named starting with ISY-Events-Log.

I have ApplianceLincs going all the way back to hardware version 1.3 to the latest 4.A I know they do work OK in my setup. I see your problem ones are 4.1 and 4.9. They should also be fine. It will be interesting to see what your level 3 Event Viewer shows.
