Release 3.1.16 (Beta) Is Now Available
In the Programs Tab Next Scheduled Run Time. All the ones using PM times. Show a .. or blank where the PM suffix usually is showing. The ones in the AM do have the AM suffix. My first program just ran for some devices to go On before Dusk. The Last Run Time and Last Finished Time also have a .. suffix and not the PM.

remotelinc2 , not in dropdown in 3.1.15
The RemoteLinc and RemoteLinc2 remotes. Have a power saving state they go into to conserve batteries. You can only talk to them when awake in the Linking Mode. If you where able to link to the RemoteLincs and not go into the linking mode. They may not be going back to power saving. If you batteries die fairly quickly. They where not power saving.

remotelinc2 , not in dropdown in 3.1.15
You did put it into the Linking Mode before trying to add it?

Startup Errors
I have gotten the same warning message from Java and just said NO to blocking it.

remotelinc2 , not in dropdown in 3.1.15
It should be showing up in the list under Link Management. Using the Help Tab About choice. See what Firmware and UI it reports. Both should say 3.1.15. Did you follow the information and clear the Java Cache? Which method are you using to access the Administrative Console? If you are using the java applet it has to be the one linked to in the top of the beta announcement for 3.1.15.

Using a status change to initiate an event
The 2413S is a completely new design from the 2412S. Including a new more efficient power supply over the old Linear Power Transformer one in the 2412S. May not be totally isolated from the power lines like the old 2412S was or maybe as LeeG thought limited extra power for external use. It does have a faster memory for its link database also. There was no upgrade option when it was released.

Using a status change to initiate an event
Yes the 2413S PLM is Dual Band. One point if you are going from a 2412S that supplies power to the ISY99i to the 2413S that does not provide power to the ISY99i. You have to add an external power supply. To the DC input jack on the ISY99i.

Using a status change to initiate an event
Like computer power supplies. The power supplies for the router and switch could also be making power line noise or absorbing the power line signals.

Two remotelincs using the same scenes?
I have two RemoteLincs and both have identical scenes on them.

OK to plug PLM into a LampLinc?
I have my PLM also plugged into a 10 Amp FilterLinc. The FilterLinc doesn't generate any heat so the combination doesn't get much hotter than if it was not in the FilterLinc. Is the PLM a 2412S or 2413S? The older 2412S units had a linear power supply in them with a power transformer that generated heat and felt like it was warmer than my newer 2413S PLM. Now plugging a PLM into a LampLinc may get both hotter than normal. As both generate heat. I have two old v1.3 ApplianceLincs plugged in to each other and they get very warm. Only ones since I started to use Insteon that have failed at one time or another.

I was using the link for the Java Applet and Dashboard in the top post of this thread. I just downloaded them fresh and they now are OK.

Release 3.1.15 (Beta) Is Now Available
I take it has not been corrected yet? I still get the under construction page. While trying to get the java applet and dashboard. Yes I had them and somehow lost them.

Release 3.1.15 (Beta) Is Now Available
UDI Wiki is also going to the new hacked web site. My Java Applet and Dashboard for 3.1.15 seems to have gotten lost with my fooling around yesterday. Today the site is going to the incorrect place. I can still use the link in my IE to access it.

Nothing works except so far the forums. Even the main UDI web page is a different company. My web browser also gives me a Suspicious Web Site and suggests you get out of there!

Synchrolinc Linking Problems
The first version that supported the SynchroLinc had issues and I had to wait for a later release to correct things. I don't remember the exact revision numbers. It was an Adding to the system problem.

Solving the Wall-wart Problem.
My fairly inexpensive Radio Shack meter. Uses fairly inexpensive fuses. Now at work the FLUKE Fuses are Big Bucks.

Release 3.1.15 (Beta) Is Now Available
Installed fine and all my devices are old. Like the original rev 1.3 ApplianceLincs. So I will keep an eye on adding them to My Lighting and into Scenes.

Solving the Wall-wart Problem.
That is why I have spare meter fuses.

Solving the Wall-wart Problem.
The solid and dashed lines may indicate which wire is +. If you look at the wire you may see one of them has dashes on it. You may want to also verify the center pin is + as I have seen some wall warts with - on the center pin. You may find a small diagram on the label or a symbol molded on the case showing polarity.

Solving the Wall-wart Problem.
The ISY99i needs DC. Are your AC wall warts are for different devices? Some devices do use an AC Wall Wart and generate their needed DC voltages internally. One of my Routers uses an AC wall wart.

Switchlinc Timer unsupported device?
If you look at the Full Users manual for the 2476ST. http://wiki.smarthome.com/index.php?tit ... Linc_Timer It indicates if another controller turns it On the timer function does not time out. It acts like a standard SwitchLinc. It also indicates that if the 2476ST controls another Insteon device it also will not follow the timer function. I believe just the 2476ST will time out. Though no hands on experiences with it.

Solving the Wall-wart Problem.
As LeeG said not overly critical. The old 2412S was around 18 volts DC into the ISY99i. My forum question on the subject is here. viewtopic.php?t=3593

Insteon and X10 Motion Sensor Differences?
They use to be real cheap but things are changing. From some web posts. X10 has closed their China Plant and most devices are slowly going out of stock or discontinued. Though on Facebook that claim the stuff is just out of stock not discontinued. Prices at EBay dealers have jumped dramatically. Though some must have gotten some added stock as the prices have gone down slightly. X10 Motion sensors are in the $13.00 to $20.00 range when I just looked. They where higher. Also if you ever brave going to the X10 sales site. You will see over 75% of the offering are now third party stuff. Like a 10" and 7" Tablet along with third party cameras and doorbells. That maybe one of the reasons Smarthome has again started to sell their own brand X10 modules.

New LampLincs - Extended ramp rate not working?
Try 8 minutes. I believe 9 minutes on the new ones goes back to instant.
