  1. I don't know how else you'd do it. That's the way it's always been done, and given that Polisy and eisy are running the same OS, it probably is a much easier migration than it was from ISY994 to Polisy. As long as you don't move your Zooz dongle to the eisy, I can't imagine that anything would happen. The ZMatter board doesn't know anything about the devices you have installed on your Zooz dongle on your Polisy. Also, you can always factory reset your eisy if you need to.
  2. Looks like it's partially out. I updated from the AC this morning, and got a new Admin Console, but it seems that something is amiss... The firmware won't yet upgrade, so it might pay to wait for an announcement prior to upgrading packages.
  3. I don't have an eisy, but for Polisy the ports are 8080 for http connections and 8443 for https connections (look on your Configuration | System tab in the AC). Lots of people here use the UDI Portal for that purpose so they don't have to open their firewall.
  4. I believe that for every time you include/exclude a device, the next item you include will use an incremented device ID, whether the previous device ID is vacant because of an exclusion or not. It was mentioned somewhere that an update to IoX should be available this week.
  5. A couple of us have had the same results with those repeaters, and UDI is aware of it:
  6. Here's a place to start: https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/udi-poly-ELK/blob/master/README.md
  7. I think your Elk M1XEP can only connect with one device at a time, so I don't think this will work.
  8. I think device 01 is your Z-Wave controller, so I wouldn't expect that one to be interviewed.
  9. In order to get the latest version, I had go through the uninstall/install process, but I found that you don't have to uninstall it at all. You can reinstall it in the same slot as the current installation. Go through the install process, and at the final screen you have the option to install it in the same place it's already installed. See screenshot. That might fix it. There weren't any negative consequences to me.
  10. No, it's not bad storage. It's been this way for a long time. Here's mine:
  11. I think this is a known issue:
  12. I can't claim much success, because I've only changed parameters on one device, but it worked. I have a couple of Enbrighten Z-Wave In-Wall Motion Switches (500 series chips). I have one of these set to Manual mode for the motion sensor, as I use the motion event to control lights other than those connected to the load. You can change the mode for motion by removing the switch plate and initiating a series of button presses, but I found that by setting parameter 3 to a value of 1 also did the trick. Not all is well with the switch, however. Using ZMatter, the device interview never completes, and the motion event isn't handled, so it's not available in programs. This is a general problem on my installation as 9 devices interviews don't complete (including device 1), against 10 that do (Z-Wave | Z-Wave X-Ray | DH All Devices) Devices list: 1 Interview Not done 2 Interview done 4 Interview Not done 6 Interview done 7 Interview done 8 Interview done 9 Interview Not done 12 Interview Not done 13 Interview Not done 14 Interview done 15 Interview done 18 Interview Not done 19 Interview Not done 20 Interview done 23 Interview done 24 Interview done 25 Interview done 26 Interview Not done 27 Interview Not done
  13. I have it as well, and it works.
  14. Back in the day when I first installed my Zooz stick, I got associations working with an Aeotec Multisensor 6 and a Zooz Zen76 switch. You might have another look at this thread:

    Zwave S0 & S2

I don’t know how Z-Wave handles things at the network level, but shouldn’t the controller <—> device communication handle this? I have both on my current network, along with Z-Wave 300, 500 and 700 devices. Only one network, as far as I know.
  16. I’ll just drop this here:
  17. I can't imagine why. You restore the backup into the latest/greatest IoX version on your eisy, which we know is at least 5.5. Then you migrate using the tools in on your eisy, which contains the latest/greatest version of IoX. Maybe I'm not understanding something about how this would work, but you'd be on the latest with all your programs/etc. intact. You'd just need the devices to migrate from the Zooz dongle to the ZMatter dongle. If the devices don't come along for the ride, then the migration hasn't worked.
  18. You might just wait. I think the Z-Wave information is on the Zooz dongle, not in the IoX software. Consider this path: Take the ZMatter card out of your Polisy and place it in the USB enclosure when you get it. See what firmware the eisy ships with -- it's likely not the version that has the finished migration tools. Upgrade the eisy to the finished version when it's available. Backup your Polisy. Insert the ZMatter dongle and the Zooz dongle in your eisy. Restore the Polisy backup on your eisy. Migrate. Just a few thoughts... I don't think anyone other than UDI can reassure you at this point, as no one has any experience with doing what you're trying to do.
  19. Take a look at the thread below. Some of the issues regarding "any old browser" are discussed:
  20. @brians, thanks for writing this up. I've got five Zooz Zen77 dimmers in our primary bathroom, and I am able to use one of them to control the on/off, dim level on the other four. It works, not quite as neatly as Insteon as you say, but it works. Again, thanks!
  21. That takes me back...
  22. For now at least, the Admin Console and Java aren't going away. UDMobile is available for Android and iOS, iPadOS and MacOS on machines running M1 or M2 chips. I can run it on my iMac just fine. It isn't a substitute for the Java Admin Console yet. It's getting there, but I don't if it ever intended to completely replace the Admin Console. Someone at UDI will have to address that. You can securely run the Admin Console from the UD portal, if you have a portal account. Log into the portal (https://my.isy.io), click on: Select Tool | Information | ISY Information and you'll see a long URL that you can use in the ISY Launcher to connect to your ISY remotely. Safely and securely... No DDNS necessary, and no holes in your firewall. EDIT: Add the link below for more clarification.
  23. I think you're stuck with Java for now. Someone would have to write an application to interface with the IoX software that runs on XFCE. If someone's doing that, it hasn't been well advertised.
  24. Well, the preferred way to get to the Admin Console has been with the ISY Launcher, using the file 'start.jnlp'. It's been this way for a while now.
  25. @scrutch and @Geddy, For what it's worth, I excluded/included a few Z-Wave devices all the way across the house (at least 60' away) before I had repeaters set up, and they excluded/included fine, though I had to try a couple of times to include a few devices (actually Zooz Zen77 dimmers). Range seems to have improved with the new antenna/card.
