RichK52 Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 I recently purchased 2 GE/Enbrighten Z-Wave Outdoor Smart Switches since Insteon products are not available. After adding them to the Admin Console (6+ devices showed up for each smart switch), I tried to write 2 programs to turn the switches on and off at Sunset & Sunrise. The system let me add the 'Off' action, but will not allow me to add the 'On' action.
DennisC Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Why use two programs? On and off is easily accomplished with one program. Use the time option from - to. Don't forget to use the next day option for sunrise.

RichK52 Posted December 22, 2021 Author Posted December 22, 2021 Dennis, I have never been able to get a single program to work that will turn a light off at sunrise and turn it on at sunset. So, I finally said 'uncle' and applied the KISS strategy and created 2 separate programs.

You should also try rebooting your ISY and see if that clears up your saving issue. Don't understand why you are having issues controlling from sunset to sunrise for on/off control. I have numerous programs written that way. Are you sure you have checked the box for sunrise that says next day? Do a search for ISY Cookbook, there are examples in there on writing programs. Good luck.
