GH device status

when I turn on devices, either by google home voice command or google home touch screen command or direct device switch or UD Mobile input, google home device status display comes on but seconds later always turns itself off while contrarily the UD Mobile device status remains on and correctly displays device status continuously. This problem was only with my MQTT devices but now it also affects my zwave devices...

sorry, by "display" I mean the device status displayed by GH: When the device is turned on, the GH device status will indicate "ON" but after a few seconds or so, the GH device status will turn "OFF" even thought the actual device is still on. I can toggle the devices on/off from the GH control panel but the status after a few seconds will display "OFF" and no longer indicates the true status of the device. This is only in GH; UD Mobil and ISY control work perfectly...

I don't have Google Home so can't help directly, but I think the same thing happens on an Alexa/Echo Show. It's more than likely just an anomaly with the UI on the cloud systems. Something might not be reporting back the actual status. It never bothers me because I don't usually stare at the screen of my Echo long enough to care. If the light acts correctly following my voice command I'm happy. I don't care what the "smart" device is displaying that I told to do something. If it (the "smart" assistant) did its job what does it matter what a temporary screen shows?

it is not critical for  me  because I use GH voice and UD mobil most of the time but I do have a couple of GH displays and they are useful for other people in the house... As you said, Something might not be reporting back the actual status and as I have noticed, that problem began first only affecting my MQTT devices but now affect all other devices too...

Does this happen with other devices that aren't running through UDI devices?

only UDI devices are running through GH; GH does not control any other devices: good question but I cannot troubleshoot the problem this way and I own no device that would run directly on GH...
