andrew77 Posted Thursday at 05:38 AM Posted Thursday at 05:38 AM For some odd reason I got this message Connection Type: AuthPortal. 503 Controller not online or not communicating with Universal Devices Portal. Verify your System is connected to network. Try reboot I’ve tried to unplug, wait, then reboot but no luck. as an a side (maybe not related) my Apple TV 4 works but won’t access web stuff (Netflix YouTube) even though it shows it’s still connected to wifi. (just adding extra info in case it helps) both are plugged into the same Ethernet switch. I’m not sure how to check to see if that burned out (if that’s even the right word or possible) Quote

It doesn't appear down currently, but not to say it might have had a momentary disconnect or some other issue when you posted. I know my eisy is showing online since 12:30am eastern (today ~8.5 hours ago), but I know we lost internet connection for a little bit before that time so would expect that status. Quote
andrew77 Posted Thursday at 12:38 PM Author Posted Thursday at 12:38 PM In the app. theres there’s the alert triangle and it says error restarting connection disconnected over and over Quote
Geddy Posted Thursday at 05:15 PM Posted Thursday at 05:15 PM @andrew77 I just opened UD Mobile and didn't have any connection issues. If you're still having issues I would suggest you open a support ticket. Also check the ISY Portal site to see if your device is showing online and while there be sure your portal subscription is current. Support Ticket: https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets Quote
andrew77 Posted Friday at 07:31 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:31 PM I switched out the old Ethernet switch with the new one and the problem persists. I know it’s not the EISY because I can plug the EISY (or one of the affected devices plugged into the switch) directly in the router and it works fine. No need for an EISY ticket to be opened. now I get to state at a pile of gear and try to figure out what failed. thanks for the responses guys. Andrew Quote
Geddy Posted Friday at 09:48 PM Posted Friday at 09:48 PM @andrew77 sounds like you figured out you're having networking issues and those need to be sorted out. Hopefully you find it and things get to working again. Quote
