Pg3 migration causing problems.

Featured Replies

I just did the latest eisy updates and tried migrating one NS over from Pg3. The NS AVRemote migrated but doesn't seem to accept commands in programing. I am trying to enter commands to tivo NS but just get this screen that doesn't accept and commands. When trying to enter a command it just dims.

Am fully up to date:

Retrying:

RATDGO: Moved it back over. All looks good, but does not work. Moved it back to PG3X. Did not work there either, and also did not have the proper names. Moved it back again into Eisy. Went to my program that calls the open / close and made a change to it, saved it, changed it back to its original, saved it again and it is finally working. Looks like I will have to do this to all the programs.

TimeData: Moved it back to Eisy.. Shows as OFFLINE.. did a Query on the node server node and that kicked it back on line.

HUE: migration worked this time. No apparent issues.

Notifications: migration worked this time. No apparent issues.

ELK: migration worked this time. No apparent issues.

GREAT JOB in fixing the issues!!

@dbwarner5 How about iAqualink? I haven't moved that one yet (I did, had some issues, and moved it back to PG3).

Thanks,

Ross

it wasnt working until I did the latest upgrade earlier today. I can't verify 100% its working but it appeared to be at first glance.

I also see that already there is another update since this morning.. Continued mentions of plugin transfer work etc.

Would suggest doing a backup via ui, plus pg3x backup via ui / pg3x / Dashboard / backup (the old way), then do the latest update. Check things out, and then do ANOTHER BACKUP with the newest system, and then try moving iAqualink again.

cheers.

Installed latest eisy-ui and PG3x. Reinstalled WeatherFlow. Still cannot migrate PG3 Legacy to eisy plugins.

Same.

When I start eisy UI in my browser I see this: image.png

Like Phil G. Attempting to migrate PG3 devices/programs gives this:

image.png

Thus I do not see these in the tree.

How do I fix this? TIA

Have you tried a power reset?

I had PG3 migration problems and the power reset worked. A soft reboot didn't help.

There may be updates that resolve this issue so make sure you're up to date.

Thanks mmb

Reboot from system menu worked. I see notification in UD Mob1le that PG3 server started. I now see a menu item pg3x (legacy) whereas before it was just PG3.

PG3 devices loaded.

I now see my ratgdo devices in the nodes tree.

I should know to reboot by now. (

Sadly, I am still trying to get my ratgdo's to display and work correctly after migrating from PG3 legacy (garage door and gate in my case). I spent a few hours this morning fussing with them, but had to work on other things. Just saying, it's not always a straight forward migration, so plan to spend some time fussing to get things to work again. :(

At the moment I deleted them, then managed to get them back in PG3 Legacy where they work but do not display correctly in UD Mobile. Maybe I have to delete anything and everything to do with them, then try to load directly into Eisy Plugins.

Posting in case anyone else has experienced similar, and can offer advice. Otherwise, maybe tomorrow.

I am on the latest software and AVRemote still will not find any Tivos. I enter the url of the Tivos and do a save but it doesn't really save. No saving bar appears on the bottom right of the screen. When I restart the info I entered disappears. I have done reinstalls and restarts but there is no change.

I was able to migrate my RATDGO successfully. From earlier post above:

I'm receiving this error when I click on "Migrate to eisy-ui".

For background, I migrated before, but my programs were not working. So, I migrated back to PG3.

I got up my nerve again this morning to migrate iAqualink and I now get this message.

Any assistance would be appreciated (as long as I don't have to "sudo" as I don't know what that means or how to do it!).

Thanks,

Ross

<Edit> - I reinstalled the eisy plugin and renamed/re-renamed each program that was Not Loaded and it now works. The only plugin that I haven't been able to migrate is ST-Sonos.
