Sunday at 01:08 AM5 days After installing the latest production updates and moving VenstarCT NS from Pg3 to the eisy I can no longer get it to work. No nodes show up in the nodes list. Debug shows the IP address of the thermostat is recognized but doesn't seem to make contact. Moving the NSs from PG3 has been a disaster for me. I think I will stop at 4. Two work but no luck with VenstarCT or Tivo under AVRemote. Each time a NS was moved a reboot was necessary for it to be recognized. I included a snapshot on the home screen of the VenstarCT issue. I was able to get Weatherlink llive and itech to migrate and work after reboots.GaryI did finally get VenstarCT to work so it is just AVremote so far that is not working. Sunday at 04:56 PM4 days @garybixler , how did you get the VenstarCT plug-in to work? I also have that plug-in, so I'm curious if there's something in addition to migrating that I need to do. I haven't updated yet. I've been waiting for some of the issues to get resolved. I think it may be ready to try.Mark
Monday at 01:41 PM4 days Author @mbking I probably went the long way around but after migrating and deleting from pg3 and rebooting the eisy the key I think is to do a discover at the node server.
Monday at 06:16 PM3 days @garybixler , thanks for the reply; I will remember that. I will probably do the upgrade today and then migrate my plugins one by one see how it goes.Mark
17 hours ago17 hr Well, @garybixler , this migration of the VenstarCT plugin has taught me one thing for sure, plugins are impacted differently based on whether you reboot eisy, or power cycle eisy, of use the restart button for the plugin. The plugin results are different and the only one that works is: migrate, reboot eisy, and then run Discover. VenstarCT is now running properly in eisy. Thanks for sharing your process. I assumed that power cycling and rebooting eisy was the same, but I got very different results in the log on start up. Lesson learned. Thanks again.Mark
