October 19Oct 19 See image for initial feedback. Most important, at least for me, is coloring "on" and %On" in red like the old console did. This makes it really easy to see what's on and what's off.Currently, screen is divided in 2 halves, and it can't adjusted. Many columns on left have no useful information (for me). There is a menu to not show them but it doesn't respond.Items on right half all show at responders, but almost all are controller/responders. Digging deeper reveals this but if you are going to show what they are, then show correct setting.Good first cut, hopefully, the UI will get better with user feedback. October 19Oct 19 Thanks for the feedback,#1) AC was built when most things were on/off, eisy has evolved to support much more. Color in text is usually, or will be, reserved for errors/warnings. Other users have issues with colored text in programs, so it will likely be removed there also. Currently columns can be sorted or searched for "On", so still easy to see what is "On.#2) There is no useful information as folders don't have status or type. Adjusting width is on our list.#3) This is due to the selected item being the eisy controller, all items are responders to eisy, none are controllers of eisy (they do not turn eisy on/off). Clicking a group will show controllers of the group.
October 24Oct 24 Author How many "other users"?I for one, like color."Other users" must like 1955. I like 1966 (and beyond), The Wonderful Wold of Color. KISS. Easy to see, easy to comprehend. No column sorting, it's just there. Please reconsider keeping color for on/off and % on.Anyone else? Edited October 24Oct 24 by nowandthen
October 24Oct 24 Just one comment from me (post-1966 🤣)I like, and use the Type / Address / Status fields quite a bit. For me, these 3 fields are helpful, especially when trying to debug and identify or find particular devices. However, I think a working Option menu to show/hide these fields would satisfy both you and I. But a day may arrive where I'd prefer to hide these columns, or view just a subset - thus, my added request that Options -> show/hide selector ought to work. And that's my only (helpful) comment. Friday at 10:05 PM4 days Personally, I like color for device states. We've already got red for programs that are running and white for idle. I'd add that for devices with a percent state >0 and <100, yellow or orange would be nice.Maybe we all can have our cake, whether monochrome or technicolor. Can there be a global display setting to switch font colors on and off? On the UD Mobile app, assigning red to on for each favorite or device is a chore. A global setting there would be nice too.

Too much becomes a garden of visual nonsense.Alarms needs their own colours and that demands a plain background, again, so they don't disappear in a sea of colours. Of course there are blinking colours for alarm levels too.

But not because I dont use them, but because of the way they present. My biggest use is to sort by address and then scan down the list for Nodeservers that are offline, or Zwave devices that are offline. But those columns dont let you do it effectively due to folders. The work around I have found is to click on My Lighting at the top, and then on the RIGHT half of the screen, select sort by Addresses. This gives me a clean sort and allows me to quickly scan for Disconnected or problem nodes or node servers. Therefore, my point is that I DO use the address / status columns, but NOT on the left side due to folders not getting sorted into the whole list. So the left side is semi useless to me as well, while the address column on the RIGHT side IS USEFULL. Edited Saturday at 01:14 PM3 days by dbwarner5

One is a flat list, the other the tree. A tree has limits on sort order due to branches.

Just feedback for your use.
