Portal account for other user for use with UD Mobile?
I want to setup my another user on UD Mobile. I want to create separate portal account - I figured that part out I think. However, it seems to link directly with my IoX. I want the person to have a more restrictive account on portal and IoX. How do I go about setting this up? Is this even possible to do? Connecting via portal in UD Mobile doesn't seem to access via admin account I setup - what does the portal account actually use locally on ISY/IoX?

How do I access the Admin Console via ISY portal?
I normally have VPN connection from work, but was wondering how to do this via portal itself? I remember doing this a long time ago and it would launch java applet but I cannot seem to find/remember how to do this. I am using Polisy with v5.5.2

eisy Static IP configuration
Their reasoning is probably because users set static ip incorrectly and then lock themselves out of it. Having an eisy with ability to access local with a keyboard and monitor (two hdmi in fact) would make easy to recover and doesn’t make sense that they did this. I can understand maybe on a polisy where it is difficult to access locally if one set ip to something strange. I’m actually not sure how to do this maybe is a recovery console ? When I do network installs I often assign things like switches with static ip because during and entire power cycle they may boot up quicker than the router, and therefore not get a dhcp assigned address. Some devices on startup only try once via dhcp and then either give up or failover to a default usually on a common subnet. Then one has to manually restart certain devices after the router is rebooted. In windows domains where a windows server runs dhcp this can also happen. Also I found many NAS devices work better with static ip for using as a local backup - again during a power loss the nas usually boot up before router and often not get a dhcp and resulting in failed backups. Having a pro license is not the answer because I find that many users who are not really advanced users tend to purchase the pro stuff anyways thinking it is better. Like I said above, with local keyboard and monitor on eisy they could make this possible - actually make it so can only enable static this way so user already learns how to do and should remember if they ever lock themselves out or need to change ip again.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
Curious what the purpose is of restoring from ISY backup... I haven't seen the migration instructions so is this part of the migration process? Were you trying to migrate from Zooz USB ZWave to internal ZMatter?

Matter support?
Depends how you interpret that... is it connecting compatible devices and systems with one another, simply meaning a matter device works with a matter compatible system, or a matter compatible system works with another system? I think the main goal was to have matter devices that will work on any system which the user has invested in, and making work across multiple systems I bet will be a bit of headache in the beginning anyways.

Matter support?
Here is an article I posted over in this forum that sorta covers the process a bit.

Z-Wave plugin dimmer issue with ZMatter
Ok thanks, it seems that HB/HK is a different unrelated issue, I am sure dimmers worked before and were detected in HK so probably just something with ZMatter in way it reports what a switch is. I am running an ancient version of ISY HK plugin, maybe will toubleshoot more (was able to make it show up for now at least by adding the scene - I don't include all scenes in HK). I note now that in UD Mobile it shows the word parameters and I confirm that it updates to correct percentage when I adjust from AC and I can even enter a percentage in that parameter in UD Mobile and turns on light to that level, which also seems to set the default on level for this device. Below is same device in AC and I can enter a % (or previous value) and press the On button at top which will set the light's default to that percentage, but also turns the light on to that level. It correlates with UD Mobile parameters (actually there are dots in UD Mobile for the rest of them eg. Fade Up) now that I compare them. However, there does not seem to be a way for this switch to set the default on level without having it first turn on to this level. Then subsequent off/on commands will turn it on to that level. I think the issue with making a slider, if possible to do, it would affect the next default on level to whatever the slider was last set at. My takeaway from all this is Zwave dimmers kinda suck! At least with ISY Scenes, are able to set the responder level using a Command, but the light still remembers its last value.

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
That is what is is called on their site, and what it was called when we all ordered. You are calling it a different name than what it actually is, probably because what it says on the board. Since thread/matter is based on Zigbee these boards have silk screened word "Zigbee" on them and probably eventually will change to "Matter" in a future run of boards, but that is just a word on the board, not the actual product name. The + is suffix of ZWave + and not a prefix for word Beta... which is a term meaning this is in Beta not a finished product ie. needs firmware upgrades etc. to enable all features. We received update to v5.5.0/v5.5.2 which enabled ZMatter ZWave+ feature and next year we will get another update that will enable Matter support.

Z-Wave plugin dimmer issue with ZMatter
I have a few ZWave dimmers... a couple Z-Link ZL-PD100 and a Leviton DZPD3-2BW. I also have Homebridge ISY setup on a RPi. I noticed that the Z-Wave dimmers above do not seem to report their info correctly to UD Mobile or HomeBridge. They work fine in AC but I noticed I could not add a slider widget in UD Moble: In UD Mobile, I am unable to see the pencil/edit icon in top right where it should be to link the On button... I honestly did not try this with Zooz ZWave dongle before so I am not sure. I have same issue with Leviton DZPD3-2BW with the icon missing as below picture. Interesting though that a similar Leviton device that is a non-dimmable on/off plug shows that pencil icon and it is same family device just that it is a switch instead of a dimmer... Again, I just noticed that these dimmers do not show up at all in HomeKit/HomeBridge but I am pretty sure that they did before with Zooz ZWave dongle, so this starts to make me wonder. Other Z-Wave devices show up like wall switches (I don't have any wall dimmers though to test). There seems to be an is issue with ZMatter not recognizing these Z-Wave plugin dimmers correctly. Here is pic of the dimmers I am referring to that have this issue... Here is Z-Wave X-Ray Device/Channel Database Object report for Z-Link Dimmer... I tried that and did not resolve. I even included another switch to the network and doesn't work either. I see no hail events in event viewer on level 3

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
My upgrade from v5.5.0 to v5.5.2 went fine, was already on ZMatter so no migration. I don't notice anything different. The ZWave hail is still not working for me on my Leviton switches.

That post link is not valid, but we are on 5.5.2 just recently today, so maybe there was an issue with 5.5.1 and they are working on new announcement?

Help! Cannot get the IoX Launcher to start
Nice, backing up my system now and will update! EDIT: nice that an upgrade works perfect for a change LOL I have noticed nothing different in the 30 seconds or so I have looked

So you are saying we shouldn't try to update yet

Support thread for: IoX v.5.5.0
There is supposed to be an update coming this week that may address some of these issues with missing nodes on certain devices that do not comply perfectly to the ZWave standard. Right now many are having issues with ZWave sensors not working correctly with ZMatter so I would be hesitant to switch over now. What is model of ZWave sensor yo have? Also that is a lot of sensors and high ceilings, curious what their purpose is. I currently have following issues: - Zen17 cannot write parameters and does not show all nodes. I have working currently but not in its optimal configuration I would like as before with Zooz. - Everspring water sensor - missing a node that triggers the actual water sensor, but I was able to map the Basic Set it broadcasts to use in a program via control. - Hail is not working correctly (I got message that it is to be fixed in next version) - My ZLink plugin dimmers cannot map status to INIT in UD Mobile for purpose of adding a slider widget. I am not sure if Zooz had this issue before because I never tried doing this until after I moved to ZMatter. I sorta think that because the device is a wall plug and doesn't control anything and is more of a responder only then this may be a limitation.

Zwave device not showing up under ZMATTER
There is discussion in main support thread about repeaters and some sensors not showing nodes. It is anticipated that a firmware update will resolve this.

Got it mostly working fine now. The variable/program method works good on IoX for changing colors of folder icons. Only thing I have left to do is make a toggle for my door lock.

Ok, maybe I will go read the manual LOL... seems like you thought of everything

OH haha I missed that. However, it doesn't seem to read the variable status when I relaunch UD mobile. only updates when UD Mobile is running and changes made on ISY. I also tried a state variable and did not make a difference.

Favorites screens
Ok I used a program as follows for all my devices in Family Room and set integer variable either 1 for on, 0 for off. Family Room Lights - [ID 0097][Parent 007E] If 'Family Room / Family Room Ceiling' Status is not Off Or 'Family Room / Family Room Lamp' Status is not Off Or 'Family Room / Family Room Tree' Status is On Or 'Family Room / Bird Lamp' Status is On Then $Family_Room_Lights = 1 Else $Family_Room_Lights = 0 I then adjusted the folder to display and it works, but it always tries to display the value and in this screenshot I have it displaying the value which currently is 1. Is there any way have it not display the 1 or 0?

Thanks, that makes sense and I understand now how UD Mobile would have to spend too much time checking all the devices in folder... I never thought to do this in IoX so I will try it using the variable method since I don't want to accidentally press the wrong spot on icon and shut all the lights off - maybe a combination of variable set based on scene. My issue is this is sorta complicated to do on my iPhone and using a PC would be much quicker... maybe one day there will be a PC/Mac app that just organizes favorites read/write from a backup - could call it something like UD Studio. I realize can run Android/iOS versions also.

Having trouble arranging favorites
I also noticed this on my MacBook Air M1.

KPL failing
Curious how old these KPL switches are? You mention switches, not dimmers and my understanding is they stopped making switches a long time ago. I had a KPL switch and it did the same thing and eventually died. I replaced with a new dual band KPL Dimmer and fortunately the load was able to work with dimmer. Maybe changing capacitors will work too. Coinidentally, aartech shows the KPL Dimmer in stock. https://www.aartech.ca/smarthome-insteon

Alexa doesn't accept percentage commands
Not sure, Alexa gets confused sometimes and often turns off wrong light or all the lights in a room if they are named closely. A problem I find is that that I have too many lights and forget what they are called

@JaviI see that I can display a node on a folder, and have changed my Alarm folder to show status of alarm now by displaying its node. Is there a way to make a folder show a different color, status, icon etc. if ANY of the devices within the folder are on? What I want to do is be able to glance at main screen and see if any of the Kitchen lights, Family Room etc. are on within that folder just by its folder icon - seems like I can only display one node, and would be nice to not make it a button when displaying the node in a folder (eg. not be able to turn on/off a light by pressing folder) - thinking maybe a favorite type "folder with status" and ability to add multiple display nodes using logical OR, and add mapped values to change icon...I know there are several ways to do this, some more complex than the other so you would probably figure out the best way.
