Hi marvel, Definitely not normal. If your PLM kept blinking constantly then I suspect either: 1. PLM itself 2. ISY (did PLM light continue blinking even after unplugging the PLM?) 3. Something else on the line making noise Is the PLM still constantly blinking? With kind regards, Michel

Hello aaronb, Both LeeG and arw01 are correct. I would echo LeeG's recommendation. With kind regards, Michel

Hello swnewman, Consequences are dependent on: 1. Whether or not you have programs that depend on accurate status of your devices 2. How reliable is your INSTEON system such that ISY can depend on the correct status of your devices With kind regards, Michel

Hello Xathros, The themes issue is fixed in 4.0.2. Would you please post Z-Wave related issues to: viewforum.php?f=93 Thanks and with kind regards, Michel -
It might actually help if you can restore. Would you at the least be able to factory reset and retry? Or, do you have any other dual band devices there? With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Seth, I do notice those (ERR 0 = NO ERROR). It seems that you have major communication issues between your IOLinc and the PLM. Can you move the IOLinc closer to the PLM and retry? With kind regards, Michel

Hello mrjimmystewart, I think it would be best to submit a ticket so that we can schedule a call and see what's going on in your system/configuration. Links are below. With kind regards, Michel

Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 4.0.1 Beta release! For a list of changes, please take a look at viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10770]this post[/url]. IMPORTANT If you have not already done so, please upgrade your Java to 1.7.13: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10409 . IMPORTANT We will no longer have any firmware updates for ISY99i Series (viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10771) . Know Issues - None Things to test: - All fixes and enhancements *Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. *For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 994i Series ISY 994i Z & ZS Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. Enable Java Plugin: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/di ... rowser.xml b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.1/admin.jnlp d. Disable Java Plugin: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/di ... rowser.xml Please note that both methods above should install an icon on our desktop which should be used instead of using a browser to access ISY. Dashboard - http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel

Hi Seth, Yes, I have looked at the log you attached. This said, the log does not show any problems with restore. What error do you get? You might want to factory reset the IOLinc and the retry the restore. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hello mrjimmystewart, Is the problem only that you cannot get to your ISY remotely or that you cannot even get to your ISY locally in your home network? With kind regards, Michel
-
Please also note that this device is NOT queryable and thus you actually need to have actual events trigger events back into ISY. The only thing we could test was the Test button and even that was not 100% consistent in its behavior. As such, care should be taken when using this device/ISY for safety ... With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Seth, If you have not setup your unit with Trigger Reverse, then something else is either changing the status OR that the status is not really reported to ISY. What you need to do is to manually query your IOLinc a few times and see whether or not you get consistent behavior. Some older versions of IOLinc didn't report the status of sensor properly ... With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Seth, Two questions: 1. Are you using Trigger Reverse? 2. Is your query all program at 4:00 AM (not 3:00 AM)? With kind regards,

Hi Ralph, Just wanted to chime in and let you know that we have had reports of corrupted KPL database on v41. We did have a customer with 5 v41 KPLs which exhibited the same type of intermittent and erratic behavior. Restore didn't fix it either. We did report the issue to SmartHome and are waiting for a response. To make sure you have the same issue: 1. Make sure yo have Event Viewer on at Level 3 2. Try adding/removing one of the KPL buttons to/from a scene 3. Right mouse click | Diagnostics | Show Device Link Table 4. Once done, click on the compare button Two questions: 1. Do you see an [std-Direct Nack] anywhere in the event viewer? 2. Are the link tables identical? With kind regards, Michel

Hi Dennis, My pleasure and I am so very glad to hear you got it working. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Dennis, I do not think you can use a browser to send this command. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Dennis, The latter is correct; it must be POST and then you also need an additional SOAPACTION header. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hello flemingmike, Indirectly by ZBPCM from Smartenit (SimpleHomeNet). With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Dennis, I do not see a SOAPACTION header. I think the best thing to do would be to use Wireshark to capture the actual traffic. Also, I have never seen an OPTION header. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Phil, Unfortunately we have decided not to implement this feature since it will completely break our security model. This said, we have decided to look further into authentication/authorization. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi Guys, Fixed in 4.0.1: - Spaces are now automatically converted to '_' - A error popup now appears if an invalid variable name is entered With kind regards, Michel
-
Hello Dennis, Are you getting any type of errors? With kind regards, Michel
-
Hello rmreavis, You can use Network Resources to send commands to your device via Global Caché but you need something else to send commands back to ISY. In short - and without an intermediary - it's a one way communications between ISY and your device. With kind regards, Michel
