  1. Hi mfranzel, Certain date such as 12/24? If so, all you have to do is OR the years. For instance: If Time is 12/24/2013 12:00:00 OR Time is 12/24/2014 12:00:00 etc. If you are still having problems, please submit a ticket with a few time slots most convenient for you from 10:00 to 3:00 AM PST M-F and we'll schedule a remote session to walk you through everything. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi MikeD, Thanks so very much for the information. We are actively working on this issue trying to figure out the root cause. Can you tell me what WiFi router you are using and whether or not you have many more other WiFi devices on the network. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi oberkc, Got it. Thank you. This has been on our plate for such a long time that its ID is #1!!! With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello scubaguyjohn, Is there NOTHING in ISY Finder? Would you please send a screenshot to support@universal-devices.com? I do not think we are talking about the same thing. Also, what happens if you click on the Add button on ISY Finder and then enter http://whatever-your-isy-ip-address-is ? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello MFranzel, I think it would be best if you described exactly what you were trying to achieve. i.e. "something like that" makes the request to general. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi mfranzel, Can you tell me the firmware version of your KPL? If v41, it might be related to the fact that v41 may send a NACK for a previous message. We have put a workaround for this issue in 4.0.2. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi MikeD, Thanks so very much for the feedback. ISY checks the number of packets that are NOT acked (each package must be acked) to decide whether or not the client is there. In the following two cases, the computer takes much longer to ack a packet: 1. Wifi 2. Firewall In the case of Firewall with WiFi, things get even worse (especially with AVAST and McAfee). We are actively looking for solution alas we have not found anything satisfactory. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello scubaguyjohn, I suspect we have a case of Java cache issue. Can you please try the following: 1. Clear your Java cache 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.1/admin.jnlp Do you have the same problem? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi John, Does ISY finder actually find ISY? Do you know what your ISY's IP address is? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi robinasu, Thank you. I do not think it's a good idea to factory reset and start from Scratch. If your RL is out of synch with ISY, then all you have to do is Right Mouse Click | Restore Device. In case you want to factory reset: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... ur_ISY-99i With kind regards, Michel
  11. Thank you. Is it at all possible to connect this computer view wire to your router and let me know if the failure rate is still 50%? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi robinasu, First of all, removing multiple devices and hang is not normal. Do you remember whether or not ISY was still trying to remove them from the scene (activity on RX/TX lights) when you force quit the app? I do think that we will have to eventually move away from Java. This said, Admin Console was never designed as nice user interface. It was designed for Administration. In any case, with the advent of persistent web sockets, we might not have to use Java for real time updates and thus relieving us from one of the major obstacles for moving away from Java. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Thank you. Do you have this problem with all your computers (if you have more than one)? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Umm ... 4.0.2 is not out yet so whatever you are using is neither official nor supported! Yes. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello robinasu, And do we force everyone to buy an iPad? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Joe B, LeeG is 100% correct. I am so very sorry but we really cannot do anything without actually gutting existing functionality out of 99 to support additional features. We do try to accommodate all those whose 99s are in/around 1 year old. Please do contact sales@universal-devices.com and perhaps we can help more. Hi Rick, I think we finally got enough information from SmartHome to have an initial stab at it. Please do be kind enough to send an email to support@universal-devices.com and we'll send you an early release. Since this device is a safety device, we have decided not to let customers clear faults (such as malfunction, bad messages, test, low bat) for now till we figure out the safest way. In all cases, you will need to remove Smoke Sensor from your ISY, factory reset and then add it back. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi jmed999, Thank you. Are you on WiFi? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Scott MS, You will have a list of values to choose from starting from 1 all the way up to many KWs. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know that we are waiting for a response from SmartHome. As LeeG pointed out, 80 is an unknown value which ISY does not understand. The values on that byte are limited to 1 through 7. Furthermore, this specific device does NOT send an OFF message for any of these events. There's only one Clear event and we do not really know what it clears (for instance, does it clear Test, Malfunction, and Bad Message events?). Once we have more information, we would like to ask those who can actually test for Smoke/Fire to test our code before we go to the next beta cycle. Volunteers are welcome. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi James, Please try http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... There seems to be an issue with Java/MAC supporting .png image files. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello dpeterson4ca, For now, we do not yet have any plans for integrated Z-Wave radio. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Mr. Wohlers, Thank you. I think it would be more expeditious if you submitted a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello DigitalAnvil, Please hold off on the upgrade since it's not going to fix the issue. We are trying to figure out what needs to be done. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi homejones, Please do let me know as I cannot reproduce at all. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Gary, Zigbee was designed for commercial venues with energy management/monitoring in mind and not for Home. With kind regards, Michel
