  1. Hi Paul, I think we'll need to take your case back to SmartHome and see what would like us to do and/or proceed. Please send an email tech@Universal-devices.com with your event viewer and I'll forward. Please note that I'll be off till Thursday so please excuse non-responsiveness. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Mike, Those errors explain everything. ISY is not being updated with information from WB consistently. So, the first thing I would do is to figure out why ISY has such problems getting out to the Internet. Things to check: if you have static IP address, please change it to DHCP and see whether or not there are any improvements. If your ISY is connected to the router through a switch, try connecting it directly to the router. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Paul, This is quite odd. So the program was in heat mode but the cool set point changed to an invalid value. This all happened after a program changed the fan mode. Is it possible to try and reproduce this but having the same parameters but, this time, use the Admin Console to change the fan state. If you see anomalies in the set point, please make sure that the thermostat actually shows the corrupted set point on its screen. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Mike, Something is not making sense here since I cannot at all reproduce this issue. Are you sure you are consistently getting WB data? Can you please look at your Tools | Error Log and look for -14xxx errors for domains related to weatherbug? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Walt N, You should have no problems connecting to PG&E meters. If you they have any questions/problems please have them contact us (support@universal-devices.com) and we'll take it from there. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi rpsa, Thank you. The incorrect label comes from us and it has already been rectified. Please do be kind enough to rename it manually. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi nlaredo, Of course you can have Z-Wave and SEP 1.1. This said, I think what you are looking for is Z-Wave, INSTEON, and SEP 1.1. For that, we need 3 (or more) ports which the current hardware does not support. Furthermore, Zigbee SEP is NOT interoperable with any other Zigbee so if we are ever lucky enough to have the APIs to NEST thermostat (Zigbee), then you need the 4th Zigbee radio just to talk to NEST. Obviously, if you use Multiple ISYs, then you can do all the above and that's the design approach we are taking. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Bob, Thanks so very much! Clear is the group command sent when the event has been cleared (either smoke or fire). The only thing you can do with this node is to either put them in a scene as a controller so that when clear is sent, you turn on/off something. Or, you can put them in a program based on Switched-On. I am not sure what malfunction and unknown messages do. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi kingwr, It is possible to remove the load from one of them (hopefully you can just unscrew some light bulbs) and see whether or not there are any improvements? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi wrj0, Got the capture. I'll review and let you know. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi LeeG, you are 100% correct. At some point we should clean up everything. I think it would be better to start from scratch otherwise we are going to be left with more confusing and alternating versions of reality. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello djones1415, Using File | Enable Internet Access does precisely what you are not crazy about. The only difference between the two methods is whether or not you want ISY to automatically do it (which is not stable) or you want to do it yourself (which lasts router reboots). Alternatively, you can use MobiLinc Connect service which relieves you from having to open any ports as ISY will make an outbound connection. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Thanks wrj0 ... can you do a wireshark capture? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Joe, It would be best to paste your programs so that we can see what you are doing. The best place for tutorials, videos, and instructions is our wiki at http://wiki.universal-devices.com. And, if you would like, you can schedule a call with our tech support and we'll walk you through your questions and concerns. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello wrj0, Can you tell me what's your ISY's firmware version? Wiht kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Paul, I am so very sorry to hear about all these problems you have been having. I think it would be best to schedule a call so that we can login and fix it. Again, sincere apologies for the problems and tardy reply. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi jpjoe, I think the problem is very much related to something on your computer. The codebase for browser (applet) and the icon (application) are identical. The only difference is that the browser one knows ISY's IP address and is going there directly whereas the application one needs to find ISY. So, I suspect at a lower networking layer, UDP packets are being blocked. Can you use the icon, go to ISY Finder, click on the Add button, and then enter the URL for ISY? i.e. http://192.168.1.26 ... when you get the proxy error, then double click on this record and let me know if Admin Console launches. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Paul, I am so very sorry to hear. All problems are related to the latest security features of MAC blocking java. The main problem seems to be that your Admin Console is not using the most current code base. Can you please let me know what you see when you go to Help | About? What's the UI version vs. firmware version? Also, have you cleared your Java cache? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi jpjoe, Can you please use the direct link from ISY to begin with. Wait for the error again and then let me know if you can restart the Admin Console without having to login again. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Larry, For security reasons we had to remove that function. Can you please send an email to support and we'll send you the instructions. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Thank you. And, then can you click on the Admin Console and see if you can get back to it? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Thanks Xathros. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi jpoje, When it says Not Found, can you go to ISY's URL directly on a browser? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Larry, CA Certificates are those that ISY uses in case you check the "Verify" button for Client/Server settings. This means that ISY will expect the other party respond with a valid certificate the path to which ends with a CA certificate you imported. What you want to do instead is: Network, click on Server Certificate, then click on the Import Cert. button and point it to your GoDaddy certificate. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Larry, Can you tell me: 1. Was the certificate in PKCS12 format? 2. Did you import it for Server or Client? With kind regards, Michel
