  1. Hi binaryman, The only thing I can recommend is right mouse click and choose | Group Devices. If that does not show the button under the main, then you might have no choice but to remove that KPL and then add it back. With kind regards, Michel
  2. binaryman, If it's 2.und, that might explain why a button is missing. This said, it's quite unlikely that something like this would happen on its own unless you have a corrupt file system/SD Card. If you have a good backup, the first thing I recommend is restoring your backup. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi binaryman, We don't have any files without an extension. So, what is the file extension? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Gene, Thanks so very much and I am so very sorry to hear. I just sent them an email requesting clarification. In the meantime, we would be delighted to send you a refund for your unit as it's clearly being prevented from connecting to SDG&E. If you so choose to do so, please send your contact information to sales@unviersal-devices.com and a link to this post. Again, I am so very sorry to hear. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Andy, I would like to figure out the root cause before giving up. We're going to upgrade our MAC to 10.8.3 and retry. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Walt, I am at a loss and really do not know what else to suggest. We might have to upgrade our MAC to 10.8.3 and see whether or not we can reproduce it. I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi HC, I think your ISY26 may have had a corrupt file system and the corruption is being transferred to your 994. If I were you, I would factory reset 994 and start from scratch as I do not trust your 26's backup. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Walt, I am so very sorry to hear. Please do make sure: 1. Java 1.6 is actually uninstalled. In terminal, type: java -version . If you see Java 1.6, then you will have to remove it 2. Clear your Java cache 3. Retry With kind regards, Michel
  9. Mr. Lawrence, By Gate Keeper I mean System Preferences | Privacy | Firewall. Please note that turning OFF firewall does not really work. So, what you need to do is to turn it ON, go to Advanced Option, remove all references to Java. Go back to ISY and retry. This should force Gate Keeper to ask you whether or not you want to let Java access your network. If all else fails, I guess we will have to use httpS instead of http. But, in majority of cases, if https goes through but http does not, then it's pointing to firewall blocking ISY from publishing events to the computer. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello Mr. Lawrence, I am so very sorry to hear. At this point, I am suspecting that GateKeeper is blocking ISY for some reason. Would you please click on the 99i Admin Console icon on your desktop, click on the Add button, and in the URL box enter https://your-isy's-ip-address ... in short, we want to use https instead of http and see if that make any difference. If it does, then we'll have to look at GateKeeper and make sure it's not blocking ISY. Alternatively, you can try changing the IP address for your ISY. In this case - and if and only if you have setup GateKeeper to notify you of applications trying to access networking - you will be notified whether or not you wish to allow access. Please accept. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello phawtrey, I am so very sorry to hear. I suspect you have a 994i Z series. In short, the problem is that ISY cannot communicate with the PLM the causes of which are: 1. The cable between ISY and PLM is defective. Please try a different cable 2. The PLM is defective ... (majority of cases) 3. ISY is defective ... ( So, I would start with a new cable and then if that does not work, I would order a new PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi markarmer, I am so very sorry to hear. I do agree that there should always be other safeguards for something so important. jmed999 is semi correct: supporting different weather stations is an extremely huge task. Of course, we would certainly entertain it if there's more demand. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello Mr. Lawrence, Can you please remove all certificates in Java Control Panel especially those belonging to Universal Devices, Inc. Once that is done, please do make sure to clear your Java cache. And, finally, please go to: http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.3/admin.jnlp Please keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi LeeG, -2 = Device Communication Error -1 = Request Failed Error With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi GeneInSoCal, Actually we were the first gateway they ever tested and there was a mass confusion as to how it should be tested (for instance, they considered it a UPnP Router). For instance, they opened the unit and decided that hardware programming pins are security risks! In any case, they did not approve ISY to be listed on their website. This said, you should have no problem connecting to the meter. Please do make sure you have 4.0.3 installed, figure out the length of Install Code (default is 32), and then follow the instructions here: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/p ... 994iZS.pdf . If you have any problems, please do let us know. With kind regards, Michel
  16. snowtech, http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... _vs_Status You do need to use Control because you want the Wait to restart as long as there's motion in the past two minutes. Status will not work because in this scenario, status does Not change. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi KenN, Those values are not work in progress and are actually used if you have: Smart Meter and are sent a Demand Response event Using OpenADR and are sent a Demand Response event With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Ken, Please note that the issue is not related to all Weather stations but those that are in the backyard reporting to WeatherBug. There are always alternatives for everything. The main question is development/testing/regression testing times and the benefits. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi KenN, I do not recommend polling more frequently than every 20 seconds. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi jmed999, Currently we have no plans of supporting anything tablet related. There are basically too many operating systems and not much that works on all (except Javascript which has its own compatibility issues across different browsers, screen resolutions, operating systems). With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi snowtech, Wait can be interrupted. This means that if the condition changes while waiting, then statements after wait are NOT executed and the program stops till next time the condition becomes true. On the other hand, if the program keeps becoming true while in wait, the program restarts wait afresh. So, what you want something like this: If Status Garage Door is not off And ( Control Motion Sensor is Switched On And Control Motion Sensor is not Switched Off ) Then Wait 2 minutes Call the other program With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Walt, That's excellent news. Next Tuesday any time after 9:30 AM PDT will work for me. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Andy, What does "drag it to the dock" mean? It should create a shortcut on your desktop. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi KenN, Yes, it's normal for you to have to query ZBPCM. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Josh, All you need is an internet connection. With kind regards, Michel
