  1. Hello RLIKWARTZ, Where did you see that the control can be done through INSTEON? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello timdenike, The answer is the use of Wait. As you may know, Wait and Repeat are interruptible. This means that while a program is waiting in the Wait statement, if the condition turns to false, the the program exits and the rest of the statements after Wait are NOT executed. So, if you put a Wait (4 hours) at the beginning of the Then statement for your programs, the ONLY way the rest of the statements after Wait are executed is if and only if the condition has not changed for that duration. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi RLIKWARTZ, I am not so sure ... this is basically just a regular IP camera and we have not touched anything camera related. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello vbsafire1, We are working on FanLinc + support for enhanced INSTEON protocol right now. With kind regards, Michel
  5. carealtor: we are working on it right now in addition to some other INSTEON framework changes which were necessary due to enhancements at the protocol layer by SmartHome. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello mrxmas, The reasons could be either your ISP changes your IP address or that your router loses port forwarding. The best way to fix this is to manually configure your router for port forwarding: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... PnP_Router Alternatively, you can use a new service offered by MobiLinc called MobiLinc Connect which basically relieves you from having to every configure your router. You may want to contact MobiLinc for more details. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi DaveG, Sincere apologies for tardy reply. Please do be kind enough to contact us (Submit a ticket link below) and we'll help figure out what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello Mr. Blackston, If you have setup your ISY with a static IP address, the best public DNS servers are those of Google: 4.4.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Bob, Just to save time and frustration, I think it would be best to submit a ticket (link below) and schedule a call with our tech support team. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello Capra, What happens if you query the thermostat? Does it report its status properly? Please note that there was no official support for 2491T in 2.8.16. So, please do NOT downgrade. Also, do you get status feedback from any of the other devices you have? The fact that you can no longer access ISY remotely tells me that ISY's IP address has changed. As such, I must ask: do you have a firewall software on your computer? And, if so, have you added the new IP address for ISY in the white list/trusted zone for your firewall? With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Simon, SMTP uses regular ASCII characters and thus just pressing the Enter key should work fine as it does work perfectly here. If your email client is expecting Rich Text/HTML, then you will have to format the body of your email using HTML or the RTF (Rich Text Format) which your mail client understands. If HTML, you must use to have a line break. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello neupane00, Releases 3.1.6 and above have an AJAX interface that lets you control your devices rather easily. You can also use /99i/dashboard.jnlp but it may lag behind in features. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi valbor, You can do File | Restore Modem (PLM). This will defrag the PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello birdman, If I understand your question correctly, you are asking whether or not it would be possible to have nested scenes. If this is indeed the question, the answer is no. Furthermore, I strongly recommend against using the My Lighting Scene to turn everything on/off. The problem is that if you have thermostats, All On/Off will change the set points to an illegitimate value. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi cats, I am not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve. Perhaps it would be most expedient if you schedule a call with our tech support department (Submit a Ticket link below) and we'll walk you through it. In the meantime, the following link should provide you with more information about scenes: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ide#Scenes With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello haroldunger, Open ADR is a Demand/Response standard used by some utilities (http://www.openadr.org). ISY994 supports Open ADR out of the box. Open ADR provides hints (such as price/load/level) to ISY which ISY uses to decide how to curb energy by applying certain parameters to devices in that scene. If it doesn't bother you, just leave it in since Open ADR will surely become much more prevalent in the near future. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Joe, Thank you. We have access to your system and currently reviewing what might have been the cause. Question: was the 8 button KPL added using firmware v. 3.1.17? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello gwarthur, Please do the following (hopefully you have a good backup): 1. Take a backup immediately 2. Restore your good backup 3. Try removing the scene 4. Let me know what happens With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi tunaman, Thanks so very much for the update. If you don't mind, please let it run like this for another couple of weeks just to make sure we have found the root cause. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi CopyRon, Working on it as we speak. As you may already know, this feature is quite intrusive. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi tunaman, thank you! With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi arzoo, Thanks so very much. Added mms.att.net to the list. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello arzoo, Quite strange. You can easily setup a gmail account which can only be use for notifications. Then, configure ISY to use your gmail account for sending notifications. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi tunaman! Thanks so very much! Specific time please. Yes.
  25. Hello sanders2222, It's quite possible that your remote/firewall software is blocking Java. What you may want to try when you are remote is: 1. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp 2. Click on the Add button in ISY finder 3. Enter the remote URL to your ISY Does this work? With kind regards, Michel
