  1. Hi LeeG, Thanks so very much for the feedback. We are looking into it. Hi BrianH, This shall be fixed in the next drop. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello H2R, Thank you. Those pending updates have to be fixed! With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello mrxmas, Yes, On/Off but not Dim/Brighten. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi LeeG, It's quite troubling that your unit locked up ... just to ensure we are following the same steps: you simply replaced a KPL dimmer 6 button with another one. Correct? Hi Illusion, Writes and pending writes can continue even though the replace function has completed. This is because certain functions are now serialized (batched) to reduce the probability of corrupting database records. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello everyone! Sincere apologies for a tardy reply. LeeG is right on: 3.1.11 is a quick fix (firmware only and NO UI files) for the network resource issue. As such, you will have to install 3.1.10 and then 3.1.11 on top of it. The file size is small because it does not contain any UI files. rlebel, did you get your unit back? If not, please do call our tech support team and let us see if we can help. sanders2222, got your error log, thank you. io_guy, got yours too, thank you. jkraus, how is it going? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello snownh2o2, My comments below. With kind regards, Michel For programs, you can already do all your programming before clicking the save button. For scenes and other INSTEON related activity, if you have the PRO version, you can use the Batch (automatic write) button which allows you to batch everything and then click that button for all changes to be written at the same time. You can upgrade to PRO by going to Help | Purchase Modules ($30.00). No, unfortunately not from the Admin Console. Polexian is right on OR, this would be a better question for MobiLinc or eKeypad developers There's the dashboard (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6195) but nothing else that I can remember. Thanks, Matt PS...I did spend some time searching the forums for this info with no luck, so I apoligize in advance if I missed it. Thanks again.
  7. Sanders2222, Please do be kind enough to send your error log to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello Elvis, I am so very sorry ... that IP is for WeatherBug (datafeed2.weatherbug.com). io_guy, We have been testing the reported IR issue and it's working flawlessly. Can you please look at your error log and see whether or not you see any type of errors such as Queue Full? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi all, The address is for aws= Flex Your Power. If you have Flex Your Power enabled, that's what's causing ISY to go out to aws. Networking resources is a bug which has already been fixed. I'll post a link for those who want this fixed shortly. IR issues, we will have to investigate. ELK ... the new module should be available shortly which will address all ELK issues. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Mark, Thanks so very much for the update and I am so very glad things are working. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi mrxmas, Try the following but there's no guarantee that this is going to work: 1. Take the SD Card out of the unit 2. Factory reset your ISY (press and hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds) With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.1.10 release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a major specifically addressing two issues: - MobiLinc and other clients take a long time to find ISY - In extreme cases, database files may get corrupted IMPORTANT 1. Please note that Network Resource modules are now running in their own task. This might have some ramifications as calling network resources from programs no longer waits for the resource to complete. As such, a) you will experience quicker handling of network resources/programs and if you are using DSCLinc and WebLinc, your programs may behave a little differently. Please do test your network resources thoroughly 2. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 3. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 4. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly Things to test: - MobiLinc connection issues - Device Restore, Replace, and scene settings - Adjusting scenes within programs continuously - Network performance and status - Network resources and programs For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Notes: 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started 3. IMPORTANT If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one before the upgrade. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series OR 994i Series 3. Important (If upgrading from 2.8.5 through 2.8.14) Due to invalid Java certificate chain, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3f above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. 99/994i - http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. 99/994i - http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.10 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.10/admin.jnlp - Java application Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello mrxmas, If you changed the IP/Port settings, AND IF AND ONLY IF you have a good backup, the best thing to do is to factory reset your ISY, Restore from your backup, and make sure you say NO when asked whether or not you want to keep the current settings. I suspect that you have either set an incorrect IP or port. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Elvis, I am so very sorry to hear ... I am hoping that it should be fixed in 3.1.10 (hopefully out by Wednesday). With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi again, Any chance that: 1. SwitchLinc is v35 2. KPLs are v2A or 2D ? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Rob, What is the firmware version of your KPLs? You cannot restore devices using programs. If you have problems with KPLs/communications, restore does not help. Nor do I think the problem you described is going to be solved by restoring. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi raydoc, Please click on the scene and then check the on level for the hall light on the screen section to your right. Make sure it's 100%. With kind regards, Michel
  18. robandcathy, please contact our tech support team so that we can help you troubleshoot. j0dan, apart from the scene attribute problem, I am not aware of any other bugs that would cause your INSTEON network to deteriorate. Am I mistaken here? If so - and as I have requested before - please do let us know so that we can find the root cause. If not, please do help us and yourself by disabling all those scene attribute change programs till 3.1.10 is released. As I have mentioned to you via email, the fixes we are putting in place are quite massive and have to be thoroughly regression tested before released. It would be quite catastrophic for us to release a firmware that addresses an extremely rare situation (reported twice) but breaks basic functionality. We should have 3.1.10 released shortly. Thank you for your patience and understanding. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Diesel, Please note the following: 1. Control means that every time motion is sensed, the condition is evaluated to true and the Then section is executed 2. Wait is interruptible ... this means that every time the condition is evaluated to true, Wait stops and execution starts from the beginning of the Then section The questions that you have to answer are: 1. Do you want to be notified every time there's motion sensed? If so, you do not need the Wait and you shall be notified every time the motion is sensed (Wait has zero impact in this case) 2. Do you want to be notified of occupancy? i.e. after n minutes of continuous motion, then send notification. In this case, you want to move the Wait above the Notify statement In all cases, the following tutorial can provide you with more information with regards to motion/occupancy sensing: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... _Bathrooms With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Mark, Comments below. With kind regards, Michel Yes, better but I do not think the problems you are having will be solved by 3.1.x Rule id is the ID of the rule being activated. ID is the last field in the Network resource table. So, 2 is the entry with ID of 2 and 6 is the entry with ID of 6 ISY does not validate certificate names except for specific instances such as interaction with a portal server That's the correct behavior since doing https://google.com is redirected (status code = 300/301) to another server. ISY does not follow redirects The first question I have is what do you get if you use a browser and point to https://your.virtualserver.ip:3000 ? If that works, then we would have to figure out if your server is blocking connections from specific hosts. Apart from that, for https to work, all you need is a server which has a certificate and that listens to that specific port for https --Mark
  21. Hello starmanj, You need to upgrade to 3.1.9 and then send your uuid to support@universal-devices.com and we'll reactivate it for you. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello easytim, 2413S indeed does have a weaker X10 transmit strength. Is the PLM connected to the same outlet as the modem for Ocelot? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello ergodic, The main issue here is that the Motion Sensor is spontaneously sending those messages back to the PLM without ISY doing/sending anything to it. Perhaps one test would be to request a replacement for one of the motion sensors and see if the problem goes away. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi matapan, We could possibly change the jar files to have firmware versions attached to them but this would cause major problems on the ISY side: we would basically have to generate a new html for every new release pointing to the correct jar file. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello ergodic, As LeeG pointed out, the Motion Sensor is sending a Nack on its own. The only thing I recommend (which I think you have already done) is: 1. Make sure you are on 2.8.16 and above 2. Delete one of the motion sensors from ISY 3. Do a factory reset on it 4. Add it back Perhaps there's a lingering link in there somewhere and this might fix it. With kind regards, Michel
