  1. Hi Jeff, We do not yet support energy display. But we do support Venstar thermostats and you can use the in ISY programs any which way you want. The only exception that I can think of is that you cannot ask a thermostat to explicitly call for Heat; you will have to change the mode either to Auto or Heat and then change the set point to something above the current temperature. Obviously, you can do all this with ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello brookbphx, Just wanted to send you a personal thank you as Avast has been a nightmare for us to deal with. I really do appreciate it. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Jeff, You can send emails/notifications from ISY. As a matter of fact, you do not need any plugin modules to know when power is restored. All you need is an ISY program that is run at Start up and which notifies you. You can also make customized notifications for each different event. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello all, sincere apologies for tardy reply. wwat, I would not worry about the log being full right before an upgrade. The rest of 17000x are benign and are informational messages only. matapan, How are you clearing your Java cache? In almost all cases, with MAC, you need to either reboot your computer OR go click on View Cache and remove each cache file individually. Rob, If you have any type of firewall software, please make sure ISY is in the trusted zone/White List. Avast and Kaspersky are notorious for blocking anything they do not know of. If you are still having problems, please do call our tech support and we'll help you. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello birdman, Unfortunately iPad is very Apple oriented and thus we will have to build an iPad specific application. Unfortunately, not only we do not have any such plans but our business/technology model is based on providing the interfaces such that much nicer and more beautiful applications can be built by anyone. As such, perhaps, it would be best to post this question to MobiLinc/eKeypad/AtHome forums within our Third Party Products category (viewforum.php?f=73). With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello saflight, Have you checked out our Wiki: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki There are many examples and instructions for a variety of scenarios including those that are a little more complex. If all else fails, please do not hesitate to contact our tech support and we'll help you. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Moshe, I really cannot fathom why rebooting ISY fixes communications with MobiLinc. As such, would you please send me your Error Log (support@universal-devices.com). Thanks so very much for your patience. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Michel Kohanim replied to mitch236's topic in ISY994
Hi Mitch236, 170001 are informational messages for diagnostics. For instance, the first set of lines is telling you that someone/something is trying to authenticate but authentication failed twice. If you have DSCLinc, this is normal. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Moshe, 1. You had the same issue with NTP in 3.1.9 so we have to figure out what's going on 2. If you do not see status, the reason is that ISY is not able to publish them. Please do make sure you do not have firewall settings that block ISY 3. This has been thoroughly tested by Wes and our team ... if you can access ISY remotely, then please contact Wes so that he can help figure out the cause With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello keepersg, If you have 99i, you may have reached the limit of the number of nodes/scenes supported and must upgrade to PRO ($30.00). Apart from removing a scene and then adding one back, unfortunately, there are no other indications for this limitation. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi LeeG, Thanks so very much for the feedback. We are looking into it. Hi BrianH, This shall be fixed in the next drop. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello H2R, Thank you. Those pending updates have to be fixed! With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello mrxmas, Yes, On/Off but not Dim/Brighten. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi LeeG, It's quite troubling that your unit locked up ... just to ensure we are following the same steps: you simply replaced a KPL dimmer 6 button with another one. Correct? Hi Illusion, Writes and pending writes can continue even though the replace function has completed. This is because certain functions are now serialized (batched) to reduce the probability of corrupting database records. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello everyone! Sincere apologies for a tardy reply. LeeG is right on: 3.1.11 is a quick fix (firmware only and NO UI files) for the network resource issue. As such, you will have to install 3.1.10 and then 3.1.11 on top of it. The file size is small because it does not contain any UI files. rlebel, did you get your unit back? If not, please do call our tech support team and let us see if we can help. sanders2222, got your error log, thank you. io_guy, got yours too, thank you. jkraus, how is it going? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello snownh2o2, My comments below. With kind regards, Michel For programs, you can already do all your programming before clicking the save button. For scenes and other INSTEON related activity, if you have the PRO version, you can use the Batch (automatic write) button which allows you to batch everything and then click that button for all changes to be written at the same time. You can upgrade to PRO by going to Help | Purchase Modules ($30.00). No, unfortunately not from the Admin Console. Polexian is right on OR, this would be a better question for MobiLinc or eKeypad developers There's the dashboard (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=6195) but nothing else that I can remember. Thanks, Matt PS...I did spend some time searching the forums for this info with no luck, so I apoligize in advance if I missed it. Thanks again.
  17. Sanders2222, Please do be kind enough to send your error log to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello Elvis, I am so very sorry ... that IP is for WeatherBug (datafeed2.weatherbug.com). io_guy, We have been testing the reported IR issue and it's working flawlessly. Can you please look at your error log and see whether or not you see any type of errors such as Queue Full? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi all, The address is for aws= Flex Your Power. If you have Flex Your Power enabled, that's what's causing ISY to go out to aws. Networking resources is a bug which has already been fixed. I'll post a link for those who want this fixed shortly. IR issues, we will have to investigate. ELK ... the new module should be available shortly which will address all ELK issues. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Mark, Thanks so very much for the update and I am so very glad things are working. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi mrxmas, Try the following but there's no guarantee that this is going to work: 1. Take the SD Card out of the unit 2. Factory reset your ISY (press and hold the reset button for at least 30 seconds) With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.1.10 release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a major specifically addressing two issues: - MobiLinc and other clients take a long time to find ISY - In extreme cases, database files may get corrupted IMPORTANT 1. Please note that Network Resource modules are now running in their own task. This might have some ramifications as calling network resources from programs no longer waits for the resource to complete. As such, a) you will experience quicker handling of network resources/programs and if you are using DSCLinc and WebLinc, your programs may behave a little differently. Please do test your network resources thoroughly 2. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 3. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 4. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly Things to test: - MobiLinc connection issues - Device Restore, Replace, and scene settings - Adjusting scenes within programs continuously - Network performance and status - Network resources and programs For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Notes: 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started 3. IMPORTANT If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one before the upgrade. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series OR 994i Series 3. Important (If upgrading from 2.8.5 through 2.8.14) Due to invalid Java certificate chain, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3f above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. 99/994i - http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. 99/994i - http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.10 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.10/admin.jnlp - Java application Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello mrxmas, If you changed the IP/Port settings, AND IF AND ONLY IF you have a good backup, the best thing to do is to factory reset your ISY, Restore from your backup, and make sure you say NO when asked whether or not you want to keep the current settings. I suspect that you have either set an incorrect IP or port. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Elvis, I am so very sorry to hear ... I am hoping that it should be fixed in 3.1.10 (hopefully out by Wednesday). With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi again, Any chance that: 1. SwitchLinc is v35 2. KPLs are v2A or 2D ? With kind regards, Michel
