Hi All, v5.0.4 is now available. Fixes 1. You should be able to use the Admin Console directly from Polisy (LAN) 2. Stopped our experimentation with time travel ... so, the logs will now have the correct timestamp (the old entries will continue having wrong timestamps). Also, separated error log from system messages. So, now there's a different log file (SYSOUT.LOG) capturing isy operational messages 3. Fixed the issues (case sensitive) so a) UD Mobile should start working b) If you have any node servers installed, you might have to remove them and restart 4. After Polisy restart, udx would need to be restarted for isy to work 5. And, finally, for the geeks out there, you can now disable uftdi driver in case you only use the serial port. All you need to do is to put the following in /etc/rc.conf and then restart the isy service: isy_load_uftdi="NO" Instructions sudo pkg update sudo pkg upgrade (at the minimum, you should have udx (2.4) and isy (5.0.4) sudo service isy restart (this will automatically restart udx if not already started) With kind regards, Michel

Of course, you can transfer ISY Portal license from ISY to ISY on Polisy. With kind regards, Michel

In 99.99999% of the cases, that's applied to ISY. So, it's up to you: either Polisy or ISY but NOT BOTH. With kind regards, Michel

It's identical to ISY: access to the portal is lost. This said, everything else should work because Polisy comes with the Network Module. There's no basic. Everything is PRO. With kind regards, Michel

All, We have been tracking down a few issues with UD Mobile and it seems that we have a missed a few places where case insensitivity in ISY is now causing problems in Polisy. So, the question for you all: If you have node servers installed, would you mind losing them (we'll have to wipe out the directory)? With kind regards, Michel

@bgrubb1, Yes, definitely 700 series with external USB dongle (off the shelf) one of which will be our preferred dongle. Thankfully, there is more than one supplier. And, if they do an INSTEON on us, we can always manufacture it ourselves. With kind regards, Michel

@kzboray, Polyglot v2 can only communicate with one ISY at a time. PG3 can communicate with multiple. So, are you certain that Polisy is configured to connect to your original ISY? With kind regards, Michel

All, Found the issue: those who had already updated the kernel packages before, didn't get the new kernel. So, please do this: sudo pkg update -f sudo pkg install -f FreeBSD-kernel-polisy sudo shutdown -r now - after reboot sudo service udx restart sudo service isy restart We are fixing a few bugs including the aforementioned. Hello everyone, Thanks so very much for your patience while we worked on v5.0.3 which is not available. Fixes: 1. USB driver for ISTEON PLMs (including the RF only dongle) 2. The ability to download Admin Console directly from Polisy 3. Trigger Device substitution variable for Network Resources Instructions: Many packages, including the Kernel, have changed. So, the safest approach would be: sudo pkg update && sudo pkg upgrade (about 145 packages will be upgraded) sudo shutdown -r now With kind regards, Michel

@whywork, You can get Polisy on the Portal by doing the same exact thing as you would do with ISY. This said, you need to make sure a) ISY Portal module is installed and b) you have ISY v5.0.2. With kind regards, Michel
