  1. Hi C Martin, This has already been implemented in 2.6.11 and, therefore, no longer do you have to use a flag: you can use rain information directly in your ISY programs to turn on/off your sprinklers. All you have to do is to go to Help->Purchase Modules and you can buy and install the module instantaneously. I like the idea of a new forum for WeatherBug. With kind regards,
  2. Hi Rich, My pleasure! Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. But, you need the ISY/HomeSeer plugin ( http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=1533 ) With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello all, thanks so very much for all the input: Ruben and RLikwartz: Yes, this has been verified and fixed. Illusion We never fixed this issue. It has been added to our bug list and we'll take care of it. jamesX0 Would you be kind enough to elaborate a little more or send me one your programs that are causing the problem? I just created a very simple program: If Status ceiling is not on Then Send notification to all It's behaving as it should: as long as the status does not change, the Then part does not run. Thanks again, With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello me23, I do apologize for the inconvenience. Would you be kind enough to let me know which PLM version you have? Also, would you be kind enough to go to the Configuration tab and let me know if "Query at start up" is checked? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi all, apologies for mixing all the responses into one post: Gary F. Sleeping is very boring. Why would I want to do that instead of the experiencing and enjoying the exhilaration of developing for and testing i2 devices? Jon Yes. Please do install 2.6.0 which is actually a minimal version of 2.6.11 so that you would have enough memory to install the actual 2.6.11. Gary B. Thanks so very much for letting me know about the bug where ISY shows the incorrect status (on instead of off). It shall be investigated immediately. We have not been able to get EZIO to work but didn't want to postpone the drop. We are still working on it. Jim H. Thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel

  8. Hi Wayne, Apologies for a tardy reply. Unfortunately, I cannot give you a firm date but I can tell you that we'll start working on it as soon as we get 2.7 out. Currently, all our efforts are exerted towards getting i2 supported and 2.7 out. Roughly, 2Q next year (or sooner). With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Rich, Welcome to our world and, as you shall personally experience, we have a wonderful community who will help you get to where you want with ISY and your INSTEON equipment. In my view, the first and most important thing that you will have to understand is the concept of Scene. If you get Scenes understood, you are 1/2 way there. 1. Here is a great tutorial on Scenes ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... h_tutorial ) 2. And here are the instructions for creating scenes ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... te_a_Scene ) 3. An example for creating a three way ( http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ay_Circuit ) When you are done with scenes, then you need to learn ISY programs. But, let's start with scenes first! With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello Wayne, All excellent questions: 1. ISY already integrates with IES. Apart from the cost of IES touch panel there are no additional costs 2. Yes, we have developed both IR out and IR in functionality If your equipment is far from ISY, then I do recommend IRLinc (input) and hopefully SmartLabs IR out. This way, you do not have to run wires from your ISY to your equipment nor would you have to buy IR extenders. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello Wayne, My pleasure! I understand your frustration and I can give you some context: 1. There's a two way communications with ELK: ISY sends status updates to ELK and ELK sends lighting commands to ISY 2. Our original requirements for ELK (from our user community) was simply to allow ELK to communicate with ISY. Furthermore, adding all the logic in ISY would've made ELK's rule engine obsolete. That was something we were not going to touch without permission from ELK 3. For the number of ELK/ISY installations we have, we cannot recoup the cost of development for a very long time. We need to stay in business 4. The modules are usually $49.00 one time fee 5. This module with implement all the security related events generated in ELK which is almost everything. I do not foresee a separate module And, finally, you do NOT need the module at all. For security related events, you can create rules in ELK and have them send commands to ISY. The module is a convenience feature so that you have all your logic in one place and not distributed between ELK and ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello to_lighter, Apologies for the confusion. We are going to remove the Floor Plan but it shall be replace with something much more functional (such as rooms as nodes in the tree) and simpler to use and maintain. IES touchscreens WILL not be impacted at all since the resulting documents shall NOT be changed and will continue to work with IES touchscreens. In short, we are just removing the FL feature and not support for IES touchscreens. With kind regards, Michel Oops, never mind. Had to switch from Safari to Firefox, then suddenly I could resize the boxes. Cheers! Does that mean I shouldn't order one of those? Cheers!
  13. Hello Wayne, ISY is not just an automation system; it also allows you to configure all your INSTEON network and thus enables you to create scenes native to INSTEON. This means that if ISY is not on line, your switches, scenes, and other devices continue to behave as they were programmed to do. Beyond this, ISY provides realtime feedback to clients (including ELK) regardless of where the change took place. For instance, you could click a light switch and not only ISY but all clients to ISY will automatically be notified of that change. The process of integration with ELK is on going. There will be additional modules (extra charge) which allow you to use ELK events in ISY programs. You do not need ISY if: 1. You will manually link and manage all your INSTEON devices 2. You do not care about real time status updates to your ELK touch panel, keypad, triggers 3. You do not care about controlling/monitoring all your INSTEON devices using ELK touch panel, keypads, triggers With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello RLIKWARTZ, This has also been fixed in 2.6.11. We are putting the finishing touches for 26. We should be done very soon. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi to_lighter, May I humbly suggest not using the Floor Plan function as it's currently used only for IES touchscreens and we are planning to remove it completely. With kind regards, Michel Oops, never mind. Had to switch from Safari to Firefox, then suddenly I could resize the boxes. Cheers!
  16. Hi dss, Thanks so very much! I wished you could also point us to the memory location where this information is stored as that's the only way we can program it. Thanks again for all the feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello Mr. Grant, Yes, but only on KPL versions 1.65 and above and ISY firmware 2.6.5 and above. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi dss, I will have to look into this ... I think this is the function of the remote but it may have something to do with the memory map in IRLinc. Once we get IRLinc to work, then we can surely address this issue as well. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello reakhavok, It's a utilities based system where they notify you of the price of electricity based on the load on the grid. This is currently in pilot and not very many utilities provide these services. Those who do (PGE/SCE), require you to have at least 200KWH utilization. With kind regards, Michel Michael, any information on what the open auto demand/response module is?
  20. Hello dss, I am not aware of that functionality in IRLinc nor do we have the memory map layout for IRLinc. Can this be done manually? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello dss, Thanks so very much. Apologies for the confusion; my question was how many of your IR Linc buttons were added before you clicked the Cancel button? I suspect that we have the same issue as we have with EZIO devices: (i2) memory address changes which have made us impotent in find the solution. We are going to have our final release soon with more i2 related bug fixes and, if you don't mind, please wait till our official 2.7 release (before the end of this year). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Joe and Mike, Thanks so very much for the update. We found the bug and it shall be fixed within the next couple of days. With kind regards, Michel I'm seeing this as well. My query program seems to be running: If From 12:00:00AM For 24 hours Then Repeat Every 15 minutes Wait 10 minutes Set 'OfficeThermostat' Query Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') But the ISY is showing outdated thermostat values. If I manually query the thermostat, the values update correctly.
  23. Hello dss, Do you currently have some number of buttons linked into your ISY? Would you be kind enough to try Tools->Diagnostics->Event Viewer and change the level to 2, retry, and send us the logs (support@universal-devices.com). Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi someguy, i2 does not help with EZxxx units. You do not need i2 unless you get new devices from SH which are now all i2 especially Motion Sensor, TriggerLinc, KPL Relay, SwitchLinc Dimmer 600, Thermostat, etc. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello jamesx0, This has been reported but we cannot reproduce it. What do you see in the Program Summary? Also, in Tools->Diagnostics->Event Viewer, if you change the level to 2, what do you see when you run the program? And, finally, would you be kind enough to do a complete query on your network and see if there are other devices that do not report their status? With kind regards, Michel
