  1. MARosen, I sure hope so. Please do keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel
  2. MARosen, Ah, it makes much more sense now ... it seems that either a) Your router is NO longer forwarding the port to ISY (for one reason or another) You momentarily lose connection with your ISP and your router (incorrectly) wipes out all your UPnP forwarding rules The remedy to this is: 1) Create static forwarding rules in your router (instead of depending on UPnP) ... go to the top of this page for configuration 2) Get a dynamic DNS (if you don't already have one) As far as the programs running at start up, please check the configuration page for the configured grace period. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello MARosen, I think we have to clarify a few things: When you say crash, does it mean that you can no longer access ISY from any other computer on the network except for telnet? Or, you can access it from other computers on the network but you cannot access it using your BB? As far as programs being rerun at startup, YES, if and only if you have that flag set; please check the Program Summary tab to disable. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Jay, This should not be a pattern. Please make sure to let us know if this happens again so that we can diagnose the root cause. Thanks so very much for your patience, With kind regards, Michel
  5. MARosen, 15000 for each should be fine ... you can increase later if you do not get the right results. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi MARosen, Please telnet to your ISY and issue CWT and increase the timeouts for both HTTP and HTTPS. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi MARosen, I am so very glad to hear that everything is working fine. Please send my warmest regards to your dad. Please do let us know if there's anything else we can do to help. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Dave, Yes to everything! With kind regards, Michel
  9. Bernhard, Userid/password are in the instructions in the same link. Reason for userid/password: this is a beta release. For official releases, you do not need userid/pwd. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello MARosen, I'd really like to get this resolved as soon as possible so please do be kind enough to call our tech support line and let us walk you through it. Based on your explanation, I am really at a loss: 1. The admin console does not appear from a location which (we have established) can access and present ISY's admin console locally 2. You can access your ISY from your work So there must be a missing piece of information which we are all overlooking to solve this puzzle and the best way to go forward is to do it on the phone. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Vortec4800, By no means am I an expert in APs. With the disclaimer out of the way: APs do not maintain state nor are they linked in any shape or form. The setup process simply lets you know whether or not two APs are on the same phase. As such, you will have to redo the setup again. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello MARosen, Let's set up a time to go through it together on the phone (preferably toward s the end of the week). With kind regards, Michel
  13. RPM, I must admit that I have never had this problem reported and, as such, I am not sure how helpful we can be. While I am sure our loyal forum members will chime in with as much insight as possible, but may I humbly suggest calling SH's tech support. If you get a run around, please PM me and I'll hook you up with the right people. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Drew, If this has happened without any external intervention, then I would worry about it: you will have to find the cause. Can you think of anything that might've powered down your PLM? With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Bernhard, You'll find the instructions to download/install 2.6.4 here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=25 You will be notified with 2.7/8 are officially released. If you have enabled Internet Access using File->Enable Internet Access, then simply choose File->Disable Internet Access. Otherwise, you will have to close the ports you have already opened in your router. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Jay, Yes, it is possible for those buttons to control your other A/V equipment but not likely. Yes, you can control a single light as well. In the Action section, instead of a scene, simply choose a single device. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello Jay, I am so very sorry to hear about the problems you're having with your system. The reason is that SH decided (a while ago) to reuse one of the unused product codes for KPL. What you need to do is to upgrade to our release 2.6.4 (beta) the instructions for which you will find here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=25 With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello Jay M, Welcome! Everything is stored in ISY. You will find most, if not all, the answers to your questions here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... w-To_Guide With kind regards, Michel
  19. drw, There's a capacitor which keeps the clock running for 6 hours. As such, there's nothing wrong with your ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello SpaceCowboy, Apologies for the problems you are experiencing. C7 1] Node added to ISY 2008/05/25 09:45:18 :
  21. Hi Michael, We do not have a data file for RTI nor am I familiar with it. If possible, you can have him send us an email with the requirements and we'll figure out the best possible solution. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Brent, As d_l suggested, we have left dynamic DNS management to the router/modem since most (if not all) already support one (or many) dynamic DNS solutions. We tried to do something with one of the providers but they wanted to charge about $20/year per user so we decided against it. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Zellarman, Please start Event Viewer, try adding something to a scene, and then look for failure messages. These messages will tell you in what part of the process there was a failure and which device caused it. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Zellarman, 1. Do you have any RemoteLincs in those scenes? 2. What's the average number of controllers in those scenes? 3. Is there a pattern (a set) of devices that are common in the failing scenes? 4. Please use the Event Viewer to see what ISY fails on With kind regards, Michel
  25. Charlie, Please upgrade to 2.6.4 (http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=1218) and give it a try. If that does not work, increase your HTTPS timeout a little (telnet and use CWT). With kind regards, Michel
