  1. Hello scoobydawg, I am so sorry to hear this. Don't you have a backup? If so, it'll be much easier to get everything back up and running (that is unless your PLM is still working). All you have to do is: 1. File->Restore ISY 2. File->Restore Modem (PLM) With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi franky, Ah, I see now! What version of KPL are you using (firmware that is)? We've had major problems with KPLs 1.5 and 1.6. With kind regards, Michel Yes, that's exactly what I did when I posted the other night. Re-reading my post, I can see the confusion...sorry. I added all 8 lights to the same mutually exclusive group and the first 4 buttons behave correctly by disabling the other 7 when you press any of them; however, the last 4 buttons do not disable any of the other 7 buttons when pressed (but they do turn off when any of the first 4 buttons are pressed).
  3. Hi Walter, Our pleasure! Please do let us know if we can be of further assistance. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Digger, You are right and thank so very much for not wanting to worry about it. This said, however, we consider you an ISY expert but for our newer ISYers we cannot have an inaccurate system regardless of the source/cause of the bug. Thanks again for reporting it, With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello Walter, I am so very sorry. You can access ISY through http://www.universal-devices.com/99i , right? If so, we would like to access it remotely and see if we can fix it over the internet: 1. Please try File->Enable Internet Access ... if this does not work, then 2. Please try http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=635 (your port is 443) Once you get the remote URL, please contact us (http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm) with your remote URL. If you have problems enabling internet access, please do give us a call and we'll walk you through it. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Digger, thanks so very much. I shall ask for the newest SWL Relay to test. Mike, thanks so very much for the information. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello Franky, Please put all of the buttons in ONE mutually exclusive group. Please do let me know what happens. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello Walter, I do apologize for the inconvenience. You cannot simply disable kaspersky. You will find the instructions for configuring kaspersky here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=1162 Please do let us know if you are still experiencing the same issues. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi franky, ISY allows for 4 mutually exclusive groups simply because when you have 8 buttons, there are at the most 4 ways that you can group them together. In short, buttons in the same group are mutually exclusive from one another: if you turn one on, the others will turn off and vice versa. I think you've put all your buttons in the same group and thus what you are witnessing. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Digger, Wow, I guess we are witnessing the same issues as we did with new KPLs. Would you be kind enough to let me know what version is ISY reporting? I would sincerely appreciate it. We would simply have to order the same SWL relays to see where the problem is coming from. Thanks for reporting this. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Richard, To access from outside, you will use port 443 which is HTTPS (unless you want to change it). So, you would access it like: https://your.external-ip.address This change was made so that you could get to your ISY using any mobile phone. If you want to get to the Admin Console, all you have to do is to add /admin to the end of the URL: http://your.isy.address/admin With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello kcrossley, Yes: To upgrade to 99i PRO: http://udi.safestorefront.com/Merchant/?p1=102564 To upgrade to 99i/IR PRO: http://udi.safestorefront.com/Merchant/?p1=102583 Once ordered, you shall receive instructions for returning your ISY-26. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello Richard, Indeed this is the case with the new firmware: the port number is for HTTP has changed to 80 (which is the default port for HTTP and thus not shown). The default port for HTTPS is 443 and thus not shown. Can you get to your ISY using the URL on About (without the port number)? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello jwagner010, Yes, I just verified this problem. We shall start working on it ... as I mentioned before, this one has been quite tricky. I am hoping to have it included in our next drop. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello again, We are working on allowing the buttons to be responders in scenes (having a hard time) ... are there other issues that you are experiencing? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello jwagner010, I totally understand. But, in all cases, if you change ISY's secure port (from 443 to some unknown port such as 8443) then you will experience less of these problems. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Walter, Is this a switch or a dimmer. If it's an ICON dimmer, then it does have adjustable ramping time. If it is a relay, then it only has on/off states and thus you cannot dim/brighten it regardless. You can always have a program that does that but the device has to support dimming. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi SysIntegrated, Yes, you can factory reset your KPL, and then right mouse click on any of its buttons and then choose Restore Device. With kind regards, Michel
  19. ctviggen, It seems you have an older version of the firmware. Please try: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i For your reference, unplugging/plugging ISY back in has the same effect as pressing the reset button. With kind regards, Michel
  20. SysIntegrated, This is rather strange ... I am actually running out of ideas! What happens if you just remove your Access Points? Would your SWLs even respond? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello James, If your router is not UPnP enabled, then File->Enable Internet Access will not work which I think is the case now. This said, however, you can still enable internet access manually by forwarding port 443 (unless you want to change it) to your ISY's IP address. you can find port forwarding instructions for almost any type of router at http://portforward.com . With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello aanthony, Long time no see! The first thing is to reboot your ISY (unless you have 2.6.4 and above) ... this will make ISY ask for a new IP address. When this is done, then ISY should automatically show up on your network neighborhood or be accessible through http://www.universal-devices.com/99i . To telnet, first you have to have ISY's IP address and then: 1. Go to command prompt (start->Run->cmd) 2. if you have 2.6.4 and above then type: telnet your.isy.ip.address 3. if you have 2.6.3 and below then type: telnet you.isy.ip.address 126 With kind regards, Michel
  23. SysIntegrated, Very strange!!! Could it be that perhaps this SWL/KPL combination have a higher ramp rate assigned? i.e. in the Admin Console, under the scene, if you click on the KPL, to you right you'll see on level/ramp rate for the responders. Is the ramp rate 0? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello SysIntegrated, I think it's the SWL since it behaves the same in all scenes. With kind regards, Michel
  25. SysIntegrated, No, this is not normal for Insteon unless: 1. You have a defective device 2. The ramp rate is set to 1 second or more 3. Relays usually take a little longer I do think that you have a defective device; is it an ApplianceLinc? With kind regards, Michel
