  1. clark21236, Thanks so very much for the update. Is this now working on all your computers? Also, please note that this issue will also impact how you save programs. As such, please make sure you can save/update your programs. With kind regards, Michel
  2. alfatud, 99i is powered through the PLM. Is this the only reason that you would like to upgrade to 99i? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello MARosen, Yes, that's what I meant. The main issue is that you are running a client on you computer to track ip changes; what happens if your computer is off? You should surely look at/configure that section in you router since your router is always on and thus you will not depend on your computer. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello clark21236, That's very strange! The http://www.universal-devices.com/27'>http://www.universal-devices.com/27 basically uses the applet from our website rather than the applet from ISY. Please do try your laptop but I am sure you are going to have more problems with your laptop because of NOD32. One more option is: when you clear your Java cache, please make sure ALL OTHER browser windows are closed (both IE/Firefox). With kind regards, Michel
  5. Thanks so very much Zellarman ... We have had many issues reported with SignaLincs ... I do not think you will have the same issues with APs. Have you tried replacing/upgrading your SLs with APs? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello Zellarman, Thanks so very much for the update. Are these SignaLincs or AccessPoints? With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi clark21236, This is sounding more and more like a firewall issue. Have you changed your firewall software since? What firewall software do you have? With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi clark21236, Please clear your Java cache and retry: http://www.universal-devices.com/27 With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello Clarence, Thanks for letting us know; I sure will let you know ... With kind regards, Michel

Hi aLf, The reason that your ISY does not automatically come on line after you reboot your router is that you are running 2.6.0 ... this is solved in 2.6.1 and above. Of course, this does not solve the reason why your router goes off line ... time for a new router, perhaps? With kind regards, Michel
  11. jcthorne, Yes, the local address will change with the update from 1.0 to 2.6.1+ ... please make sure you clear your Java cache and try: http://www.universal-devices.com/27 (99i is for 1.0 release) For security reasons, you cannot get to ISY's home page without first logging in. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Release 2.6.5 (RC4) beta is now available and may be downloaded immediately. For fixes and enhancements, please peruse our beta forum at http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930. You may also post your comments/questions and issues relating to 2.6.5 to the same forum. IMPORTANT 1. If you have used bookmarks, please update them accordingly. If you have problems finding ISY, try http://www.universal-devices.com/27 3. If you are upgrading from 2.6.1, please make sure you export all your programs and store them in a safe place 4. As always, please take a backup of your ISY Due to massive changes in this release, please do be kind enough to thoroughly test those functions most important to you specifically schedules and triggers. INSTRUCTIONS - Userid = isy - Password = autoupdate - For ISY-26, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip do not unzip - For ISY-99i Series, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip do not unzip - Login to Admin Console using http://www.universal-devices.com/27 -- Ignore Request Failed messages -- Choose Help->Manually Upgrade My Lighting and choose the file you downloaded in the previous step - Important: After upgrading, please close Admin Console, close all web browser processes, clear your Java cache, and reopen Admin Console. If there are any web browser processes running, the Java cache will not be cleared. LIMITATIONS - IES Touchscreens will not work with this release. Update is forthcoming - InterfaceGo will not work with this release. Update is forthcoming - WSDK requires modifications to work with this release. Update is forthcoming
  13. MARosen, I am so sorry to hear this. NO ... we have already set everything up using static IP address and Dynamic DNS (I hope) and, thus, no longer do you need to do File->Enable Internet Access (ever). If you are having issues with saving files, make sure your computer's firewall is not the culprit. Are you using Dynamic DNS? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Michel Kohanim replied to bbabaa's topic in ISY994
bbabaa, Each command to INSTEON network requires 8 bytes. For simple commands, this process should not take more than 500 m.s. in good conditions. For restoring devices, please note the following: 1. Each record is 8 bytes 2. You need three commands to write/read one byte into the link db Therefore, reading/writing each record should take between 10 to 12 seconds. With the introduction of I2, this process will be much faster as you would only need to send one command and write all the 8 bytes. With kind regards, Michel
  15. jcthorne, Please do keep us posted. I suspect that not only your PLM has quit but also the new version of KPL Relay may have had the same issue as we used to have with KPLs. As such, I would sincerely appreciate all the input you can provide us. With kind regards, Michel
  16. MARosen, I sure hope so. Please do keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel
  17. MARosen, Ah, it makes much more sense now ... it seems that either a) Your router is NO longer forwarding the port to ISY (for one reason or another) You momentarily lose connection with your ISP and your router (incorrectly) wipes out all your UPnP forwarding rules The remedy to this is: 1) Create static forwarding rules in your router (instead of depending on UPnP) ... go to the top of this page for configuration 2) Get a dynamic DNS (if you don't already have one) As far as the programs running at start up, please check the configuration page for the configured grace period. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello MARosen, I think we have to clarify a few things: When you say crash, does it mean that you can no longer access ISY from any other computer on the network except for telnet? Or, you can access it from other computers on the network but you cannot access it using your BB? As far as programs being rerun at startup, YES, if and only if you have that flag set; please check the Program Summary tab to disable. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Jay, This should not be a pattern. Please make sure to let us know if this happens again so that we can diagnose the root cause. Thanks so very much for your patience, With kind regards, Michel
  20. MARosen, 15000 for each should be fine ... you can increase later if you do not get the right results. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi MARosen, Please telnet to your ISY and issue CWT and increase the timeouts for both HTTP and HTTPS. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi MARosen, I am so very glad to hear that everything is working fine. Please send my warmest regards to your dad. Please do let us know if there's anything else we can do to help. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Dave, Yes to everything! With kind regards, Michel

Bernhard, Userid/password are in the instructions in the same link. Reason for userid/password: this is a beta release. For official releases, you do not need userid/pwd. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello MARosen, I'd really like to get this resolved as soon as possible so please do be kind enough to call our tech support line and let us walk you through it. Based on your explanation, I am really at a loss: 1. The admin console does not appear from a location which (we have established) can access and present ISY's admin console locally 2. You can access your ISY from your work So there must be a missing piece of information which we are all overlooking to solve this puzzle and the best way to go forward is to do it on the phone. With kind regards, Michel
