  1. Hi Dave, Please note that ISY puts a one second delay between your request and when ISY actually refreshes your BB with the current status. So, if you keep trying on/off within a second, then you will make all the subsequent attempts timeout since ISY locks you out. The second issue might be that possibly ISY is too sensitive for your BB gateway. As such, you can adjust the HTTPS timeout value by issuing CWT in the shell (telnet to your ISY, login, and then issue CWT). Please note that adjusting this to a very high value might have a negative impact since ISY will wait the "timeout" value to get all the information from your gateway (if it does not sense the end of transmission). With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Dave, Would you be kind enough to try the same with a scene? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Mark, Let's do email ... I think this project is going to be a little more involved: 1. Ability to load "user" filesets into ISY 2. Ability to associate a client (based on user agent) to each fileset As far as callbacks, we will have to use HTML since otherwise you will have to use the devkit and web services. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Mark, Thanks so very much! I am not sure what that entails: why are for loops needed if this is a CSS only? We are adding diagnostics tools in the next release and, as such, I might not have enough time to include this in the next drop. If you wish, you can send me the files, I'll review them, and we'll figure out what to do with them. Thanks again so very much, With kind regards, Michel
  5. az1324, Thanks so very much. Let's see what we can do ... With kind regards, Michel All user agent info here
  6. upstatemike, We do not yet have printing capabilities for programs but you can export My Programs (with all the sub folders/programs) by right mouse clicking on My Programs and then choose export. With kind regards, Michel
  7. DEGoodrich, Yes, you can use your own domain; simply use https://your.domain.com:port I suggest using port 4343 but it's totally up to you. As long as you do not use well known ports (80, 443, 23, 25, etc.) you should be OK. With kind regards, Michel Thanks. I forgot to ask, I have my own domain. Is there a way I can use it, instead of that? I think it does, because when I installed the router, my Guide Data would not update. So I had to open the ports. If I change the ports on the ISY, what number do I use? It did not help.
  8. Mark, thanks so very much, az1324/Mark, do you guys know the user agent header for iPhone/iTouch mobile Safari? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello All, I just wanted to let you know that our next Beta release will include diagnostic utilities to read PLM and Device tables from within the Admin Console. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello DEGoodrich, My comments below. With kind regards, Michel For 2.6.1 and above the format is: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ If the media center opens the same port on your router, then yes. But I assume media center actually goes out to the internet to grab that data and not the other way around (data coming to the MCE from the internet). In any case, whatever you do, please always use the HTTPS protocol and if port 443 is used by another device, please use CWP (in the shell) to change your HTTPS port. Please do be kind enough to clear your Java cache and let me know.
  11. Thanks so very much and please do keep me posted. 2.6.5 was going to be available very soon but we are adding diagnostics tools. With kind regards, Michel
  12. clark21236, The issue is that either your network connection to your router is severed intermittently or your router does not serve up DHCP properly. Have you considered rebooting your router to see if this situation is resolved. One workaround would be to setup ISY with a static IP address but I do not recommend it since we will never ever know where the problem is coming from. Please also note that in releases 2.6.4 and below, ISY would basically give up requesting a DHCP address after 5 retries (about 15 minutes). In release 2.6.5 and above ISY will continue requesting a lease as long as it senses there's a network connection. With kind regards, Michel
  13. deeepdish, Do you have to enter the userid/password every time? With kind regards, Michel
  14. deeepdish, Quite strange; I am not sure how else we can add support without jeopardizing security. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello deeepdish, Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone but I suspect, like most browsers, it does have the capability of storing your ISY credentials and thus you would never have to enter the userid/password again. Does it not? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Clarence, Thanks for the update. So, how does one clear the cache now in 1.6? Would you be kind enough to post what you find in our MAC: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=782 With kind regards, Michel
  17. deeepdish, Not at all and we do welcome any suggestions to make the HTML pages nicer to look at and use. Mark, Thanks SO very much. Very much looking forward to it. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Jim, Thanks so very much for the update and the link: it's been added to our website. Clarence, We'll check it out. In the meantime, please make sure you cleared your Java cache (which, in the case of MAC, may require computer reboot). Thanks and with kind regards, Michel Michel, I'm pleased to report that Apple finally caught up with the rest of the world and officially released Java 1.6 for Leopard. The INTEL MAC ONLY update isn't appearing under automatic updates yet but can be downloaded from Apple. Hopefully a PowerPC version will also appear soon. -Jim
  19. Hello Ed, I am so very sorry for the troubles you've been experiencing. As far as EZIO8SA, there's a specific order of events that you have to follow to get it to link. I call it 4x4 (4 seconds to link to ISY then click cancel, then wait for ISY to finish, then click the set button another 4 seconds) as specified in their instruction sheet. As far as 2476D, I am not sure what it could be: we have not changed that part of the code, haven't any bugs reported, and thus I have to conclude that it's either noise, defective 2476D, or signal is not getting to it. Please keep me posted, With kind regards, Michel
  20. clark21236, Here are the procedures: 1. Check and see if your MEM/ERR lights turn on/off every 10 seconds. If they do, then we have a network connection/router issue. Make sure your router is able to assign an IP address to ISY 2. If the MEM/ERR lights are not turning on/off every 10 seconds, then ISY [thinks] it's still on the network. To test, try http://www.universal-devices.com/27 to see if the client can find it If none of the above works, then please try assigning a static IP address to your ISY as there might be a problem with your router's assigning IP addresses to ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Clarence, What happens when you try: http://www.universal-devices.com/27? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Rand, Thanks so very much! The open/close is already fixed. As far as a slider in HTML, I am not sure if such widget exists in HTML. I'll research it further. We'll try to fix the GUI issues and as far as the notifications, we have left it for Triggers 2.0. Thanks again so very much, With kind regards, Michel
  23. Jim, Thank you so very much. With kind regards, Michel
  24. RatRanch, With sincere apologies ... this is because we used a method that's only available in Java 1.6 and, as we all know, the only Java 1.6 available for MAC is the developer version. Please do be kind enough to: 1. Download 2.6.4 firmware for your platform again (we put the fix in) 2. Use http://www.universal-devices.com/27 to login to your ISY 3. Upgrade your ISY again using the firmware you downloaded in step 1 Again, with sincere apologies, With kind regards, Michel Except it happens every time on this Mac, even after a fresh restart. It looks like 2.6.4 might be using a new Java method? Java Console is reporting: Java Plug-in 1.5.0 Using JRE version 1.5.0_13 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM User home directory = /Users/jim java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.net.NetworkInterface.isUp()Z at com.universaldevices.upnp.UDControlPoint.isNetworkUp(Unknown Source) at com.universaldevices.ui.UPnPClientApplet.init(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:380) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:613)
  25. Hello, No but it's already been implemented and tested (a little) and shall be in the next drop. With kind regards, Michel Noticed this didn't make it into 2.6.4 beta.
