  1. Hello Ed, Thanks so very much for the feedback. You know what? This problem seems to be Sprint related: only Sprint Blackberry devices cause ISY to hang as well. In this respect, would you be amenable to helping us debug this? If so, please let me know ( http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm ) when we can get together on the phone and I'll monitor the traffic while you are banging away on our unit in the lab. With kind regards, Michel
  2. royceconnerley, Would you be amenable to phone appointment (whenever you have free time) to login to our ISY and thus we can monitor what's causing the crash? If so, please do be kind enough contact us with the best time to call you on (Thursday) between 9:00 and 5:00 PM Pacific time ( http://www.universal-devices.com/contact.htm ). With kind regards, Michel
  3. royceconnerley, I am so very sorry; may I ask what carrier you use for your Blackberry service? It's becoming increasingly difficult to pinpoint the problem since we have tested it with Verizon and it worked fine. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi, For those watching this topic, 2.6.3 (RC2) is now available; please read the first post on this topic or go to http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930 With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello All, Release 2.6.3 (RC2) is now available and may be downloaded immediately. For fixes and enhancements, please peruse our beta forum at http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930. You may also post your comments/questions and issues relating to 2.6.3 to the same forum. IMPORTANT 1. For those upgrading from release 2.6, please note that releases 2.6.1 and above will use default HTTP/HTTPS ports of 80/443 respectively. As such, before upgrading Disable Internet Access 2. If you have used bookmarks, please update them accordingly. If you have problems finding ISY, try http://www.universal-devices.com/27 3. If you are upgrading from 2.6.1, please make sure you export all your programs and store them in a safe place 4. As always, please take a backup of your ISY INSTRUCTIONS - Userid = isy - Password = autoupdate - For ISY-26, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip - For ISY-99i Series, download the update from http://www.universal-devices.com/update ... nsteon.zip - Login to Admin Console and choose Help->Manually Upgrade My Lighting and choose the file you downloaded in the previous step - Important: After upgrading, please close Admin Console, close all web browser processes, clear your Java cache, and reopen Admin Console. If there are any web browser processes running, the Java cache will not be cleared. KNOWN BUGS - Replace Device will change the device type to Icon LampLinc - Intermittent System hang when used in conjunction with some mobile devices - Thermostat mode is not synched between HTML and Admin Console - Cannot change the Button Toggle Mode for KPLs v1.4 IMPORTANT NOTE Beta versions 2.6.1 and 2.6.2 have a bug which prevents them from saving the programs during a backup. When using these versions, after doing a backup, please go to the Program Details tab, right-click on My Programs, and from the context-menu select Export in order to save your programs. Similarly, after doing a restore, select Import in the context-menu to restore your programs. This bug is corrected in beta version 2.6.3. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  6. az1324, That's really amazing ... you do not get anything on your mobile safari? Nothing at all? With kind regards, Michel
  7. Redrox, Unfortunately, this is the case. The only other more automated alternative would be to use a new KPL 8 button and have the old one replaced with the new one. With kind regards, Michel
  8. gmurch, I do remember vividly your Hughes modem! 1. you can not use Admin Console on any mobile device since it requires a full Java Runtime which is not available on any devices 2. As far as your Blackberry, try https://www.cnn.com ... if you have the same issue, then the problem is that you will have ask your provider to enable HTTPS on your service (apparently it's not enabled by default with some providers). Please also bear in mind that 2.6.2 (and below) crash when accessed by blackberry. As such, please use caution. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello az1324, Currently, our auto configuration (UPnP) opens only port 443 (https). If you wish, you will have to open the HTTP port (80) to access it via HTTP. We strongly recommend against this since your credentials will be sent in the clear. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello az1324, We are currently thinking about your request specifically; you can help us a lot if you took our HTML, created the CSS and the HTML for it and then we would have an easier time supporting it in less time. Is it possible? With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Glenn, When you click on the devices, don't you see a list (table) with the device name and the status right next to it? The scene don't have any status (yet). With kind regards, Michel
  12. az1234, You are right and it's quite impressive what you've done ... I shall surely consider it for our Triggers 2.0 release. I am not sure I understand the slider request; don't we already have it? Would you be kind enough to clarify? With kind regards, Michel
  13. drw, All this means is that your ISY client cannot connect to our server to check for updates. It will be resolved as soon as your router is back on line. With kind regards, Michel
  14. az1234, Please see my responses below. With kind regards, Michel Not yet but in our list Yes: 1. Link Management->Start Linking 2. Tap as many devices as you would like 3. When done, click on the Cancel button No and, at the moment, we do not have such plans I am not going to make any comments on the level of triviality, but this is planned for our Triggers 2.0 release Not yet ...
  15. HokiePerogi, It seems that you have Java Cache issues. Please do: Control Panel->Java->Settings (button)->Delete Files (button) Let me know if this takes care of the problem. With kind regards, Michel

jbredz28, If they are part of a scene, and if this is KPL 1.5 and above, then this is normal. Otherwise, please make sure you do not have any programs that turn them off. Please note that ISY does not do anything special with All on/off except to send the command to all on group. With kind regards, Michel
  17. skerke, So very glad to hear it and thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel

Hello jbredz28, Apologies for the inconvenience. Please choose RC5 remote codes such as those for Phillips and Marantz. Please do let me know if you are still experiencing problems. With kind regards, Michel
  19. skerke, Yes! With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello HokiePerogi, I can see you come in ... so far we haven't crashed! As far as having to do multiple requests, it might be because I am in debug mode and thus too slow. But, I will check into it ... Thanks so very much, With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi, Thanks again for trying ... I had to bring down our ISY this morning. Please try again https://udi.isy-mobile.com With kind regards, Michel

Bernhard, Thanks so very much for the info and quite impressed by your use of JSDK and ISY. This requirement is already on our list of todos with Medium priority so you should see it either in our final 2.7 (within a month) or in 2.8 (within 3 months). Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello dear Blackberry/ISY users! I think we have solved most, if not all, the lockup issues. As such - and before we release the next drop - would you be kind enough to try your device on https://udi.isy-mobile.com (admin/admin) and let me know if you experience any lockups. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  24. Brignolo and upstatemike, Yes, it will be supported shortly. We actually have a working version here which we are debugging. With kind regards, Michel Mike, That would be great to know. Are you going to run the touch screen controller with an ADDITIONAL PLM? I have another ISY here as well as a PLM and I often wondered if they would play nice on my network. Let me know! Joe
  25. Redrox, Do you have any firewall software? With kind regards, Michel I am getting the exact same error messages and I am logged in locally. Any idea what this could be?
