  1. Hi jdva, Please go to Help->About and let me know the version number of your ISY. Beta version are 2.4.10 and above. The latest release is 2.4.15. If you do not have 2.4.15, please send an email to tech@universal-devices.com and request for the beta. Release 2.4.13 had a bug where notifications were not sent. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello, Yes, there is ... we are working on a release with more diagnostic information. As of right now, that would be in 2.6 or 2.7. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello Marko, They are back! Would you be kind enough to clear your Java cache and retry? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello Marko, Each ISY has a unique port number (till we run out of port numbers) and, unfortunately, they are fixed and you cannot change them. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello Frank, I am not going to feign mastery of programs (I leave that for Chris) but, just in case you have not read the documents in our forum, I have to let you know that your Kitchen KPL button has to be in a scene for your programs to be able to activate its backlight. So, the first step is to make a scene called Basement Status and put your desired Kitchen KPL button in there. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello isnoop, You can monitor the line traffic, in telnet, if and only if you have the debug version. In the production version you cannot. This said, however, you do not need Excel to view the file. The output of the log goes to UDReport.rtf (tab delimited) in your Java's temp directory. What specific information are you looking for? With kind regards, Michel

Marko, Indeed very odd but not as odd as you may think: there are cases where devices with "existing" links do not allow other conflicting links to be written to them. In 2.4.13, we did not clear all the existing links and that would probably explain why you've been having all these problems. For future reference and before we release 2.5, please use the Start Linking method which guarantees removal of all the existing links. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Ron, I just sent it to you! With kind regards, Michel

upstatemike, In all likelihood 99i IR will be available for Christmas! With kind regards, Michel
  10. Ron, Hi. Just realized something!!! Make sure you are not running 2.4.13 since it has a bug where configuration settings are not stored --> cannot communicate with ELK. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Rand, Yes, indeed no news = good news. Have you tried upgrading your ISY lately using your McAfee? I am quite certain you're going to get "Invalid Length" ... Please do let me know if/when you do, As always, with kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Rand, Long time no see! I am very much surprised that you have not had any issues with McAfee. Is it an older version? Thanks so very much, With kind regards, Michel I am thinking router trouble. Sometimes a restart of the router can fix things. I'm glad you got past it. So now that you are in, What do you think of the ISY-26? I was very surprised! Rand
  13. Hi Ron, Please make sure you have the latest firmware/bootware from ELK. Make sure under Configuration/ELK tab you enter the IP address/Port for M1XEP and then press Save. If all is successful, then you will see the security panel at the top of Admin Console (under status bar). If you do not see the security panel, then ISY is not communicating with your ELK. With kind regards, Michel

Hello black_fx_35, We are very close! I am hoping that 99.9 will be available for purchase before Christmas! With kind regards,
  15. Frank, How wonderful! Would you be kind enough to let us know how you resolved your communications problems? Your diagnosis is going to be invaluable in helping others with the same issues. I sincerely appreciate it. With kind regards, Michel Just to let you know: my communication problems are resolved. So at least this is out of the equation as a source of the problem. Best wishes, Frank
  16. Steven, I am so very sorry to hear about all these issues you've been experiencing with your ISY/devices. I am available today (Sunday); if you wish we can have a call to go through the issues. On LL, make sure you have a lamp actually plugged into it. Whenever you are ready, siimply send an email to tech@universal-devices.com and I'll call you. Again, accept my apologies for your troubles, With kind regards, Michel
  17. jd, Do you have McAfee installed by any chance? With kind regards, Michel

Hello Marko, I am so very sorry to hear this. Yes, FIRM 56 does support more than 417 links (close to 2000 links). Would you please let me know precisely what you are trying to do when you get "Request Failed"? Are you trying to add one device into a scene? With sincere apologies, With kind regards, Michel
  19. yardman 49, At the moment there's not an easy way of accomplishing this feat except for what you have already outlined. We might include this functionality in a later release but, currently, it doesn't seem likely. With kind regards, Michel
  20. lafleur, I am a little confused: What are the other loads beyond KPL A? Are we talking about just one KPL with 8 buttons or 8 KPLs with 8 buttons? Are you adding them into a scene? Would you be kind enough to send me a screenshot of what you currently have? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Rand, Thanks so very much for your vote of confidence!!! As always, With kind regards, Michel
  22. Michel Kohanim replied to RLIKWARTZ's topic in ISY994
RLIKWARTZ, For us, it is not good that you would have to do it manually twice a year. As Rand/Subroutine once said, home automation should be something that you do and then forget about! In any case, apologies for the inconvenience; this bug has been fixed/closed for the next drop. With kind regards, Michel
  23. GPG, Please do not do a swap yet ... it does not work as designed in this release but it's already fixed in the next drop. In short, if you do a swap in this release, you would have to reboot ISY for the changes to take effect (which is not very desirable). Thanks so very much, With kind regards, Michel
  24. Marko, You're 100% correct. This is a regression and has already been fixed. Unfortuantely, you cannot save your notifications setting on this release unless you already had one stored. Or, if you wish, you can use http://www.universal-devices.com/beta just to save your configuration settings and then revert back to your default URL for ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  25. sloop, Yes, it is valid as long as you are not trying to enforce those onlevels to the KPL load from the buttons on the same KPL. So, you could have an off scene which turns everthing off regardless of what the controller sends. i.e. if the controller sends on, then the scene on levels make all the devices to go to 0% (= off). If the controller sends off, then all the devices will turn off! In short, everything off. With kind regards, Michel
