  1. Your port should be 587, and TLS should be checked
  2. You don't have to put it into the linking mode for a restore device If you've recently added new electricial devices to your home they could be the source of the noise. If after you've tried all of the above and you're still having issues let me know and I'll send you more troubleshooting suggestions
  3. Right click on the Keypad in your device tree then click on restore device If that doesn't resolve the issue then you can try doing a factory reset on the Keypad followed by a restore device. If the these two options don't work then it's possible you have poor communications between the ISY and the Keypad, possibly due to noise on your powerline.
  4. It sounds like some of your link tables didn't get written to the new PLM. Did you exactly follow the attached replace PLM procedure? After you get everything working be sure to do a backup. Replace PLM Procedure (EISY or POLISY).pdf
  5. The 2477D is not going away
  6. When you run the "start.jnlp" program it will install the IoX Launcher icon on your desktop. If you still don't have the icon then clear your java cache again and run the the start.jnlp program again.
  7. @toptierweb Did you clear your java cache, checking all 3 boxes, before downloading the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  8. I installed the latest version, Version 8 Update 451 (build 1.8.0_451-b10).
  9. I had the same issue with the current Java update. I had to uninstall Java and re-install, that resolved the problem..
  10. It's possible that the link tables in your devices got corrupted. Try doing a "restore device" on the devices you're havings issues with.
  11. The Spring 2025 i3 Flash Sale There is no better time to try the i3 devices than now. From April 22-23, 2025, use coupon code SPRING25 to enjoy 15% off the i3 lineup. The i3 products bring something very unique to the table – they are only Insteon devices that you can set as either an on/off switch or dimmer. This gives you the ultimate flexibility to use these devices on either dimmable or non-dimmable lighting as well as on/off items like fountains or whole-house fans.
  12. @kk6ou The Graber shades use the Somfy motors. What you need to do is set the open and closed positions you want using the remote that came with the shades, you may have to press a button on the shade motors in order to write those positions to the motor memory. Check your documentation. SWF Motorization App and Gateway : Support Center 73's
  13. What brand are the shade motors What type of interface are you using between the eisy and the shade motors
  14. @matapan Take a look at this thread: How do I get around the issue of start.jnlp not being able to run on MacOS Sequoia 15.1.1 - IoX Support - Universal Devices Forum
  15. @pooderbill In the ISY994 all the device and program settings are stored on the SD card along with the ISY firmware. In Java, if you click on "General" and then "View" you should see the following:
  16. @pooderbill Here's the link to the latest and final firmware version for the ISY994: 5.3.4 (ISY994) - Last release for ISY994 - Current Release Announcements - Universal Devices Forum Be sure to read the release notes before updating. After updating you need to clear your java cache, be sure to check all 3 boxes, then download the IoX Launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp
  17. @cksedg Remove power from the ISY then remove your SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. The SD card contacts can oxidize over time which can cause various issues. Let me know if this helps
  18. The IoX Launcher should show up in the Task Managew as "Java Web Launcher", is that what your're seeing? It's also possible that you have an issue with your computer. Open the command prompt in Run as Administrator mode. Then type SFC /SCANNOW This will run the windows system file check utility and correct any errors.
  19. @cksedg Take a look at this link Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki
  20. UDI saves some files in the computer's temporary folder. Some programs, such as Norton 360, periodacally delete the contents of the temporary folder as a regular maintenance procedure. It's possible that the settings you're losing may have been saved in the temporary folder. You can verify that by clearing your temp folder to see if you lose settings. One setting that I know gets deleted is the window size of the admin console.
  21. @abrayshaw Have you tried rebooting your ISY Another thing you can try is remove power from the ISY, Remove the SD card and clean its contacts with a soft eraser. Support for the ISY ihas expired and is no longer available which might be a incentive to update to the eisy
  22. @JimTurner Your current PLM is over 8 years old and could be failing. Being that you have a new USB PLM, you should probably replace your older PLM with the USB model. The newer PLM's have improved firmware and hardware. Replace PLM Procedure (EISY or POLISY).pdf
  23. Post a copy of the program, with all the relevant fields populated, that doesn't work 00D4 isn't a system node, it's a program ID You'll probably need to have the program set a variable Substitution Variables Substitution variables are available inside custom email definitions in the form ${<variable name>}. Substitutions can be manually made in the body, URL or header of Network Resources from version 4.3.26. If you included them in the URL then you cannot use the 'Encode URL' option In most cases, these variables use the ID of the element being referenced For example ${sys.node.11 22 AA 1.name} would use the name of the device node whose address is 11 22 AA 1 Instead of specifying a fixed address, the special character # may be used to reference the element in the event that caused the program to run. (Does not work in network resources) For example, if a status event for node 11 22 AA 1 caused a program to run, then ${sys.node.#.name} would use 11 22 AA 1 as the address.

Your eisy status window for the thermostat won't show any data until the thermostat sends the data, which usually happens when the temperature changes. Are your thermostats battery powered? Your screenshots are blurred so it's difficult see to them. I doubt that the zwave dongle has failed.
  25. Techman replied to greensha's topic in eisy
It sounds like you have poor comunications between the eisy and your devices. You should add a zwave repeater/amplifier midway between the eisy and your devices. Don't use S2 security which can reduce the device's range. Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Plus Range Extender ZAC38 - The Smartest House
