  1. I know it goes against the insteon way, but what I did in my hue emulator in ISYHelper was if you had set spoken on a scene, and asked to set that scene to 50% then it would set all dimmable responders in that scene to 50%. It makes sense for a simple scene like a 3way, and for a scene that contains our 2 bedroom lamps. Trying to tell my wife that you can't set a brightness level of the kitchen cans because it's a scene, and insteon doesn't work that way results I rolling eyes... So I prefer it to just work as expected. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  2. I thought when Michel said "Comfort API" that meant TCC? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  3. Damn, how did I miss this post! So now I am considering sending back my T7900 that I just received and getting the Honeywell. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Haha, yes, one of the many intuitive features of mobilinc
  5. I thought you could create separate profiles in mobilinc for this. At least in the Android version if you long press the "Selected Profile" you can add a new one. I need this too since I am getting my second ISY for our vacation home. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. I found it listed here http://www.homecontrols.com/Aeon-Labs-Aeotec-Z-Wave-Garage-Door-Controller-AEZW062 So I emailed this place which I have pre-ordered Aeotec products from before and was very happy with their customer service, and this was their response... Thank you for your inquiry. Can you please let us know where you found the device for sale already? We expect to get the product in stock withing the next month. I spoke to Aeotec during the CES show a couple of weeks ago and they advised that they were waiting for basic gateway integration before releasing the product to the public. Once we confirm that there is already a distributor selling the product, we will be able to get more details on the date of arrival for this product. I look forward to hearing back from you. 7. OK, if it is just a webscrape I will probably go with the 7900, that was the one I was considering. I really want one with its own Internet access, and ability to control with the ISY, since the house is a 4 hour drive I wanted both in case one fails. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  8. Damn, now I will have to reconsider this one! I'm looking for a replacement in our vacation home and had ruled this out because of no ISY access. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. Does the tilt sensor show up and work as expected in the ISY? Do they also act as Z-Wave secure repeaters? I've been holding out for the Aeon since their sirens are such good repeaters, but I'm just about done waiting to replace my IoLincs. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  10. Same here on Nexus 6P. When the portal was first released it worked fine, but I haven't tried from Android in a while. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. This is being reported all over... http://betanews.com/2016/01/10/using-amazon-echo-to-control-your-home-theres-a-minor-change-you-need-to-know-about/ http://www.echotalk.org/index.php?topic=308.0 Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  12. Putting them in a scene makes the response much faster, but then you have to change the on level of the lights in thee scene for those times you don't want them on full brightness. That is what I do, but it is more involved. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  13. The Harmony does not have a rest server, but there are a few out there you can run that interface to the harmony. Search this forum and you’ll see it mentioned in a few threads. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, if you have a winpc always running, then eventghost would probably work. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. No, Tasker reads the message that pushover sends. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. I do this with an old Android tablet using pushover and Tasker, and plan to add something to ISYHelper to eliminate pushover. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. I agree with stusviews, I have 2 of them and have been happy. Especially since I added the Aeon Z-Wave siren as a repeater. I also have programs that notify me if they are unlocked when we are not home, and which code was used. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for detailing this info, would really be nice to have a wiki page detailing the current state.. To add to Barry's info, the other emulator that some are using is hue-upnp which is all python code and integrated into ISYHelper. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. You are welcome. Another user helped by adding some instructions here. http://forum.universal-devices.com/index.php?/topic/16787-ISYHelper:-Interface-older-foscam's,-Maker-IFTTT,-Amazon-Echo,-and-more#entry157558Please post any questions in that topic and we will help. 20. Yes, that was clear. The only difference with what you are doing is I use the python hue emulator, not the Java one. I have never had Alexa respond with that. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  21. I was using Alexa a lot today since I was debugging ISYHelper and never had that response. Worked perfectly every time. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  22. UDI has asked for access to the Harmony API but they have not heard back. I'm not sure if this will allow 2 way control, Currently the only way I know to control ISY devices from the harmony remotes is to run a "Hue Emulator" then add that emulator to your harmony hub. I do this with the Python based one running on a RPi, and there is another one discussed at length in this forum that uses Java so it can run on a Windows computer. Search for ISYHelper on this forum to check out my stuff. Using the ISY network module you can control harmony activities, but I have not tried that yet. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  23. OK, I will try to find it and pm you for your address. Can't remember if I decided to keep or toss it. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  24. Yes it will go between the motor control and the IOLinc. I used one on my Powermax before it was recalled and the new board is a series 2 so I don't need it anymore. I may have it somewhere and can try to find it and send it to you. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  25. That would work for simple cases where the ISY is near the harmony, but with multiple harmonys it's more difficult, and would require more hardware. Also not sure if this can be done with the dedicated buttons on the Elite. The WAF of the dedicated buttons is very high
