Modifying a Keypadlinc without deleting all settings
If the switch is part of the scene still, remove the switch from the scene. Factory reset the kpl, and then right click on the kpl and choose restore

Modifying a Keypadlinc without deleting all settings
What are you trying to do? You're not making sense! Keypad buttons will always be part of a keypad as they are 1 device. If you're trying to I group them then right click on the device and choose ungroup

As Mrbill stated, you need to go to the scenes that have your devices in them and remove the devices from the scene. What you're attempting to do is delete the kpl itself from the isy.

polisy/zooz 700 -> eisy/zmatter
Correct. This has been covered a few times on here and from Michel. Its still being worked on. When I posted I was travelling at the time and I wasn't aware of 5.5.2 being released with the fix at that moment. Hopefully @Michel Kohanimwill be able to chime in and clarify

polisy/zooz 700 -> eisy/zmatter
If you read all the way through it, it also says: Features Migration from existing network (e.g. Zooz) Migration from ISY-994 500 Series Backup But you're more than welcome to wait. Hopefully someone who has done it will respond. You can also reach out directly to UDI via their support lines.

polisy/zooz 700 -> eisy/zmatter
According to what the firmware page for 5.5.2 says, yes it can be done. https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/39592-iox-release-v552-is-now-available/

Repeaters question for Z-Wave pros
They can repeat the signal. The encryption is for the end device itself

Having trouble setting up Z Wave Pus aeotec temp & Humidity sensor
What problems are you having? It's nice to know your board (500series) but that doesn't help us determine what's wrong if we don't know what's wrong. S2 support or lack of would not cause any issues.

"Batch" select devices in scene while editing
Due to the mixed nature of scenes in the 5.x.x firmware, that is no longer available

Verifying instructions on the migration to eisy
Sounds good. I'm curious if it can be as dynamic as insteon

Verifying instructions on the migration to eisy
For some of the things you've talked about, it should be enough. Especially for simple things like multi-way switching or lights controlled by motion sensors. I prefer the flexibility of programs to directly linked devices but it'll be something that you'll have to decide on. With you using zwave, you don't have the same flexibility that insteon has so your mileage will vary. Let us know how you like it. You could always get a switch and sensor and start testing things.

Verifying instructions on the migration to eisy
My pleasure. Happy New Year to you as well. Im sure you're itching to get your migration done

8 Button keypad linc status light question
Did you configure both controllers in the scene?

Verifying instructions on the migration to eisy
Correct. This has been covered a few times on here and from Michel. Its still being worked on. This is for ISY994 users. Doesnt apply to Polisy especially since you're already on the latest version. The instructions are in the wiki under "polisy OS versions. You will have to SSH into your polisy and run sudo uname -a This is for ISY994 not polisy. There currently is not a migration tool for the usb stick to zmatter. Home Assistant and Homeseer are 2. whatever 3rd party software people may have connected. Without this, their systems wont connect to eisy. Michel will want to clarify this for you but i assume host name is "name" in the dashboard.

Remove/Exclude a Z-Wave Device
Not that I am aware of. The whole point in routing is everything being aware of other things so aeotech repeating messages could indiscriminately would make things worse vs helping.
-
Remove/Exclude a Z-Wave Device
The update neighbors can help but depending on what's removed, distance can be a factor. Whether it affects the 994 or EISY routing is hard to say.
-
Remove/Exclude a Z-Wave Device
Depending on how quickly you're planning on moving things, you're potentially making things worse. Zwave use a routed mesh network. Every device you remove from your current network can potentially effect other devices down from that device. Depending on your devices, your network can potentially self heal but that's not an instantaneous thing. The more you remove, the worse it can potentially get. In addition, due to how network wide inclusion works, it can be harder to remove/include devices from their installed location (assuming all devices support NWI).

Leak Sensors Rev 2.6 stuck in "wet" mode
Yup, you are correct. That's what the manual says...
-
Remove/Exclude a Z-Wave Device
Exclude and remove mean the same thing.

First X-10, Now Insteon Not Working
Plm is probably bad or going bad. Did you recently update your firmware? You can also try to restore your devices

The saga of a SI moving Insteon from 5.3.4 to 5.5.2 and keeping Z-Wave on 5.3.4 until you get your USB-Matter.
It could've. I factory reset everything by default so I can't say from experience what you'd experience. It's not too late to update your software. Just leave the plm until that's done. Once finished you'll be ok to remove.

The saga of a SI moving Insteon from 5.3.4 to 5.5.2 and keeping Z-Wave on 5.3.4 until you get your USB-Matter.
When using the insteon firmware version, the isy will boot into safe mode as that's what it is supposed to do. The zwave only version does not do that. That's why I said had that been done prior to doimg anything, it wouldn't have happened. It's too late for you but for someone that comes across this post, it may help. You added additional information in your second post that wasn't in the first but your isy shouldn't have had anything to do with eisy not adding your bulb. Yes, all insteon device addresses are stored within the device themselves. Factory resetting the bulb and plm would erase links on both.
