  1. Used SSH and this took care of it. No more issues.
  2. Thats not a fair test since you're comparing a 700 series device to a 500 series device. Its going to be much faster
  3. Same flashing light on the left (if facing polisy). The 6 taps does not work. Tried 2x and waited 30 minutes each time before rebooting. ISY shows that it updated and verified using ssh
  4. That's what we discussed 2 weeks ago when the thread started. Launching the admin console is the old/worse way of doing things
  5. I've experienced this as well. Currently the only Nodeserver i have running on PG3 is the Harmony Nodeserver and Sonos Nodeserver on pg2
  6. If your devices all support network wide inclusion, then you would remove those furthest from the isy first and those closest last. When setting up again, you'd add those closest first and farthest last. For new installations, I add all devices to the ISY first, test, install, test, run heal (update neighbors) if necessary. Your repeater will not work with the ISY if its associated with your RING hub. It MUST be part of the network in order for it to be included in the path.
  7. Read the instructions prior to upgrading. It'll tell you to clear your Java cache AND use the launcher that is on the SE page as the upgrade.
  8. Matching UI and firmware are more important than you realize. Clear Java cache and use the launcher from the 5.3.4 page. The rest sounds like communication issues. However, I wouldn't try to tackle that until your UI and firmware match

See what I said above. You have to resave your programs
  10. I'd return your zwave board and get a new one.
  11. lilyoyo1 replied to JAboud's topic in ISY994
That's not the issue. Most likely, he upgraded his firmware and didn't read the instructions where it states that he'll possibly need to resave them.
  12. Did you upgrade your zwave usb stick
  13. Did you try to remove first? How many button presses on the devices?
  14. What devices are you trying to add and what process are you using
  15. Ring does not yet exist on polisy. Most likely you will have to redo your set up
  16. I'd try to upgrade to 4.9 since that's the latest release. There could be updates that caused things to stop
  17. Firmware and UI of your isy
  18. Purge and discover doesn't work?https://github.com/jimboca/udi-harmony-poly
  19. Nodeservers are designed by different developers so what one chooses to do with theirs may not be the same way for another. I've experienced what bpwwer with my ecobee and harmony nodeservers so I get his point.
  20. That is partially incorrect. You can trigger lights based on the status of the activity as well as the status of device states. For example, depending on the time, turning off my system will trigger my goodnight scene (room dependent). Starting different activities will set the accent lights to the correct color as well overhead lights. If I'm watching a movie and my DVR is paused (yes I still prefer hard disks), the room lights will dim on slightly and the hall lights will come on. If i trigger my movie scene, my air purifier will turn off (or simply not run). For anything else, I've found voice to be much easier than nondescript buttons The harmony buttons won't work as already stated but i never wanted to use them anyway. It's not intuitive (needing to remember buttons for something not often done) nor do guests understand how they work.
  21. Zwave has self healing properties so routing can improve over time
  22. You would use programs to accomplish what you want. It comes down to your imagination and what you are trying to accomplish
  23. For that comment, I got you when it happens. ?
  24. Thats good. Just wondering since the slowness was an issue with the older firmware. Generally, distance doesnt cause a few second delay since the signal is either getting there or not. If you're getting error codes then that would imply an issue but without that, im curious as to why its so slow as well.
