  1. eisy is not designed to manually set the IP related settings. It currently only works with DHCP. You need to upgrade to the latest version before doing anything else. Take a backup and then press upgrade packages.
  2. Which is why I posted from the user guide how to troubleshoot your problem. Did you follow the procedure and what were your findings? If you are reluctant to troubleshoot this yourself, you can open a support ticket with UD.
  3. You can troubleshoot with the User Guide starting here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Can't_Find_eisy Also, after the address is entered in the Launcher correctly, you can hit the save button and it will create a file of the address. You can then use the load button to import the file you previously saved with the correct address.
  4. As far as I know, what you followed is the oh way for now.
  5. To answer your other questions, yes ISY 994 is at end of life. She Polisy was to be the replacement, it was short lived do to supply chain shortages for parts to build it. Hence eisy was born, which all that's currently available.
  6. @Jimbo.Automates Take a look at Chris's last paragraph in the fist post of the link I provided below. I think it explains this.
  7. I think you would be better off picking up a small UPS at a place like Costco. They are still inexpensive and you get the benefit of power filtering. However, if you're using Insteon, don't plug the PLM in to it.
  8. This issue has nothing to do with Node Server. I had reported this issue on Polisy and UD confirmed it as a bug in the admin console. It was given a low priority status and remains uncorrected.
  9. If you are running dual monitors and the admin console is not visible when you open it, try following this: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_Minimized/Invisible_and_Cannot_be_Restored
  10. Faulty power supply?
  11. Has the Portal ever shown it connected? Have you successfully gone through the steps of adding trial license and approval?
  12. This may be dumb suggestions, but have you rebooted and do your firmware and UI match?
  13. For Zwave, have you tried X-ray with Interview? I think others have reported that it connected their devices. What is the status of your eisy in the Portal, have you included your eisy and approved it?
  14. First, can you verify what device you are using? You indicate ISY, but you also indicated firmware v5.5.2. Then you go on to talk about Polisy? Did you mean PG3? If you are using Polisy or eisy, you should upgrade to v5.5.3 as soon as you get in. If you are speaking about using the Launcher to open admin console from a local connection, try using http://xxx.xxx.x.x:8080, not 8443. If this not what you are trying to do, please explain. Also, after upgrading you need to clear Java cache and download an update Launcher.
  15. Just to be clear, you click on the zip file you downloaded when upgrading. You do not select a file from within and you do not unzip the download.

  17. Hope all goes well!
  18. You would probably be better off asking someone who has all ready upgraded. I need to hold off because I will be away and want to make sure all is working. But, I don't think you manually add your Node Servers to PG3 for eisy. I think you should be taking a PG3 backup before the migration and then restore your backup on PG3 for eisy. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
  19. I think this is what you want:
  20. The ISY 994 is at end of life, there will be no further updates for it, although if a major security flaw is discovered, UD may at their discretion act upon it. It's really going to depend on you and if you wish to take advantage of newer developments, Alexa, Google voice integration, Node Server's, ect. In my old system, the ISY 994 was very sluggish, opening and saving took a long time. When I upgraded to Polisy, it was much faster than my 994 and eisy is said to be much faster than Polisy. While I have one eisy, I haven't put it in to production yet.
  21. You should use the IoX Launcher: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Eisy:User_Guide#Accessing_eisy
  22. Your UI and firmware need to match. You should follow @Geddyinstructions to upgrade your UI.
  23. @Chris Jahn, Everything up to this point was very clear. At this point, if you are migrating from Polisy to eisy, do you plug the ZMatter dongle directly in to eisy, enable Zwave, save, and then restore the "migration" backup from Polisy to eisy? Thanks for getting this to work.
  24. Already have the cable and there is plenty of room for the cable end. Dimension perspective can be hard to gauge without a reference.
