  1. Using USB dongle allows for easy upgrades down the road when the next hardware version is available. I utilized a USB extension cable and a wall mount that I 3D printed to hang the dongle. There is another post with examples of 3D printed mounts.
  2. Bob, could you elaborate on the resources available to learn how to develop a Node Server? Is there something that explains tools required and how to setup the environment?
  3. This may be way off, but...... If you are selecting the armed/disarmed mode from the drop down field in the admin console and selecting the "set" button on the left side, do you have any other device open at the same time (Elk-RP, any other Elk app, ect)? There can only be one item connected at a time.
  4. If you arm your Elk from the Elk Keypad, does the Node Server update to show you are armed?
  5. It worth trying a new power supply.
  6. You indictated no errors in the Node Server log, but is anything logged when you select armed and use the set button in the Node Server admin console?
  7. Are you hitting the "Set Armed Status" button?
  8. Yes, however, your post referenced the wiki instructions, not the ones Chris posted above. The instructions above are a little clearer and I wanted to make sure you remembered it was there. My link takes you right to his post containing the updated instructions.
  9. Not sure when the last update to wiki was done, but Chris's post in the thread below is the latest instructions and a little clearer.
  10. The instructions I posted are from Chris's post when he released the latest version of the firmware. I don't know if the wiki was updated to match, but if they are not the same, the instructions from my post should be followed, as they are the latest.
  11. Remember, for adding Zwave devices, you should first exclude, then include the device.
  12. Are you following these instructions:
  13. Read through the section of wiki starting here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Polisy:User_Guide#Update_and_Upgrade_All_the_Packages It starts by talking about using the multifunction button to trigger an update. It all's indicated the perfered method of updating by using the update packages button. However, if you can't get in, you won't be able to use that button. Reading a bit further, there are instructions for the finder not locating Polisy.
  14. ZigBee support will be added in near future, as per UD.
  15. By me, our local library will 3D print for you.
  16. Follow directions here: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#ISY_Not_Found
  17. If you are upgrading from an ISY994 to Polisy with Zmatter, no you should not install the dongle first. Instead, flow these directions:
  18. Have you tried rebooting Polisy and trying again?
  19. Glad you got it working. By the way, you can do the same with the Node Server, along with a selection of different sounds.
  20. Any thing in the error log?
  21. Are you using the Pushover Node Server? If so, that's not what my NR address looks like.
  22. eisy is not designed to manually set the IP related settings. It currently only works with DHCP. You need to upgrade to the latest version before doing anything else. Take a backup and then press upgrade packages.
  23. Which is why I posted from the user guide how to troubleshoot your problem. Did you follow the procedure and what were your findings? If you are reluctant to troubleshoot this yourself, you can open a support ticket with UD.
