  1. Thanks! That is very helpful, I was using the wrong variable GV7, instead of GV6 (either snow or snow depth) instead of rain, which is why it was always zero - now I need to figure out why Weatherbit doesn't update sometimes
  2. I've been using Weatherbit with PG2 since the demise of the climate module but it has some issues: Sometimes it does not update and in my case it never seems to indicate any rain. I've been running PG2 exclusively up until today but have just completed updating my 3 free PG2 node servers to PG3 and am starting to investigate migrating the others, so this would be a good time to change, if needed. As a minimum I want a NS that can report the high and low temps for the day, the current temp and the amount of rainfall. What does everyone recommend? Also - I don't seem to recall how I got the high, low and rainfall in my daily home email notification - can someone explain this? (part of my notification is below) Total Rain Today = ${sys.node.n006_forecast_0.GV7} High Temperature = ${sys.node.n006_forecast_0.GV0} Low Temperature = ${sys.node.n006_forecast_0.GV1} (Can't seem to find how to get the above values)
  3. Pushover notifications work well - I switched to this method when I encountered this problem. You don't need a Node Server, just create a free Pushover account and they provide you with an email address to send your notifications to. I just use the default IoP email for sending notifications - they appear in a timely fashion on your phone's pushover app. It's also nice to have your home notifcations separated from other text messages.
  4. I was out of town for a few days and my Polisy went off-line. It has been plugged into one of the front 8 ethernet switch ports of a Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro for over a year. When I returned, it took some experimentation to discover that the Polisy won't get an IP address if it is plugged directly into the UDM-Pro anymore, but it works fine if I plug it into an external ethernet switch, which then connects to the UDM-Pro. I am unsure if there was a Ubiquiti software update - a 2nd device (Raspberry Pi) also had the same problem. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
  5. I bought and installed a 2nd Ultraloq on my back door - I tried putting the lock cylinder from my Schlage BE469 into the Ultraloq but it is slightly too large to fit - after some research, I see that the Ultraloq cylinder drawing on their website exactly matches the drawing for a "Prime Line E 2103" lock cylinder at Amazon - not a good quality cylinder but regardless the fingerprint and code access combined with z-wave and other features is definitely nice enough for me to overlook the keying issue for now...
  6. I saw this: https://mapleleaflocksmith.com/ultraloq-rekey-it-to-schlage-sc1/ indicating it can be re-keyed, but if the battery dies, it can be opened by connecting a USB power source via micro-usb, so perhaps there's no need to re-key - I am going to hold off on re-keying for a while
  7. I installed the Ultraloq Pro Z-Wave and it is recognized by the Polisy+Zooz ZST10 - communication is much improved vs the old Schlage BE469 (probably due to it being z-wave plus vs old z-wave 300) - it reports battery % and lock status and can be commanded to lock and unlock via the Polisy - overall it has a lot more features than the Schlage BE469, but I am unsure if I can re-key it to match my other two Schlage's - the fingerprint feature is nice as it makes entry easier for those coming in the front door - will continue to evaluate...
  8. Red light has not gone away and the Schlage lock is also draining batteries really fast - so it will be replaced
  9. I just impulsively bought a Z-Wave Ultraloq (lightning deal on Amazon) - I don't see that anyone in these forums has used or installed one - is there anyone who knows about these? (Looking to get some additional ways to unlock the door besides a key or a code (fingerprint, bluetooth phone proximity auto-unlock?) and to replace a possibly failing Schlage lock
  10. Does anyone know what it means when the middle red LED under the inside Schlage button on a BE469 (Z-Wave) deadbolt won't turn off? It is used to indicate that tamper alarms are selected but it's just supposed to flash - there's no documentation or anything that I can find regarding a solid "ON" for this button...
  11. What is the required procedure to get either the Zooz or 2448A7 USB Dongles to operate properly after they are disconnected / unplugged from the Polisy? Is a reboot required? Power cycle?
  12. Sorry for the trouble - it turned out that IT was doing something which interfered with my access and now it's been removed
  13. After typing the above response, I realized that I was on work WiFi, so I turned it off to use cellular data and it works! Not sure why the work WiFi does not, so I guess the work WiFi may be the problem - although at my small company, we don't do any special processing on the WiFi - it just allows guests internet connectivity, all of our corporate computers are on a secured wired LAN. Update: I have learned that we actually use DNS servers which are run by NSA - would that prevent the ISY portal from working?
  14. OK I deleted and re-added my ISY Portal account as above, but that did not help - still receiving the same error. To add the IoP back in, I had to VPN into my house (I am at work) and I did get a "Connection Successful" when I was VPN'ed in and tested the link, but when I disconnect the VPN and try to use work WiFi, it still gets the SSL error message.
  15. It's an ISY portal URL - I used to have an ISY994i/Pro but have been running IoP for several months - not sure if this has anything to do with this
  16. It says "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made" - "Only use local connection" is definitely not checked.
  17. UD Mobile on my iPhone 12, running the latest ios, can only connect to my IoP if I am on my home LAN, or if I VPN to my home using Wireguard. I have a paid subscription to ISY Portal. I have "Use ISY Portal for remote connections" checked in UD Mobile. I think that there may be some security issue with ios and the certs used by Isy Portal - is there any way around this that doesn't involve me having to buy and install a signed certificate? Do I need to forward a port through my router? Does the fact that I paid for a DNS name through CloudFlare help? I would like to have UD mobile just work, without the additional step of having to VPN to my house.
  18. Thanks to all for helping - I did do the "disclaimer read" BTW - I was unable to get the NS working but it turns out that the IoP can send pushover messages via an email address without the NS so I've been doing that - sometime in the (near) future, I am going to transition all of my NS to PG3, so at that time I'll revisit By the way, what prompted all of this was that text messages from the IoP became unreliable (very delayed) with Verizon Wireless and now (just recently, past few days), my wife's phone (T-Mobile) is no longer receiving texts from the IoP - is anyone else seeing a similar problem?
  19. I have noticed this too - for me, I just have to open the notifications tab, then go back to the programs and the notification program line fixes itself - also, when copying the folder to get all of your programs source code (for pasting into a text file), the programs won't have the notifications until you browse to the notifications tab first
  20. Because of the limited # of home control buttons on the Harmony Companion remote, I use one to increment a state variable which is used to control lighting scenes. Pressing the button cycles the state variable, in the case of my bedroom, through states 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 0... - each has different combinations of overhead lights and lamps on, off, or dimmed. So, often times I will press the button multiple times (with a good 1-2s pause between presses) to get to the desired lighting state. When press the button more than 1X, there are frequently long delays between pushing the button and an observable change in lighting state. My previous post lays out the node servers being used.
  21. I have noticeable delay issues with control of lights and ceiling fans via Harmony Remote control - pressing a home control button on the remote causes the hub to signal the Hue Emulator node server which turns on a scene, which turns on a virtual button (Virtual NS) which triggers program execution - sometimes the button presses get backed up and take a minute+ to respond - in my case, no network resources are being used
  22. Did you try going to your programs that use the resource, then refreshing the network resources line, then re-save the program? (browse to the Network Resources tab first before looking at programs)
  23. FWIW I think I have a workaround for this device - The 26931 has two logical switch devices, in my case they are ZW010 On Off Switch and ZW010.1 On Off Switch - both control the lights in a manner where the most recent On or Off from either device will set the light state, even if the two switches are in different states - the ZW010 On Off Switch is associated with the physical on off buttons, whereas the ZW010.1 On Off Switch is not - therefore, I can use the "status" of the ZW010 On Off switch, in conjunction with some programs and a state variable to control the scene properly - the ZW010.1 On Off switch is in the scene, the ZW010 switch is not, but its status is checked to run a program to control the scene - the ZW010 motion sensor is also checked to control the scene I still don't understand why the IoP can't interpret the transition in the ZW010 on off switch as "switched on or off" so that programs will trigger
  24. I have an Enbrighten switch (no motion sensor) in another location and it does trigger a program with the switched on condition but the 26931 definitely does not - this is causing a problem because the 26931 controls the actual load = floodlights for a scene containing two Insteon switches and the 26931 - turning the Insteon switches on correctly turns the scene on - including the. 26931 - turning the 26931 on manually will turn on the lights but the Insteon switches don’t turn on because the program won’t trigger - I don’t expect the zwave device to properly act as a scene controller in this capacity so I was doing things with a program to control the scene but apparently the program won’t trigger for some reason - although the IoP does see the proper state of the 26931 - so shouldn’t the IoP be able to detect the switched on transition?
  25. Can anyone explain why the following program never triggers when I manually press the ON button on an Enbrighten 26931 Motion Sensor/On/Off switch? If 'Kitchen / Devices / Kitchen Floodlight Sw ZW010' is switched On Then Send Notification to 'Jeff Text' content 'Kitchen Switch ON' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') The switch ON in the If statement never triggers, however, the status in the IoP is correct - anyone? Is this a bug?
