  1. I think the problme is with the public IP address that the ISY thinks it has. If the ISY were to reboot when the router does, I feel all would be well.
  2. Does the ISY loose power when your router does? Also, do you have NAT enabled on yor router and does the ISY get a private address from it?
  3. It's working great for me. The web service is letting me do pretty much what I want.
  4. What anti-virus and firewall software do you run? I used to be an editor in a far distant past. I miss those days.
  5. Did you follow my steps outlined above?
  6. I just got all better. I decided to clean up the computer and when I did, the ISY Java app worked. Close every application you have open. delete C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\Application Data\Sun clean out C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\Local Settings\Temp clean out C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files Start your browser nd connect to the ISY.
  7. I am also having some strange problems wit Java. I delete the cache and tmp directories and yet there are still issues. When I figure it out, I'll be sure to let everyone know.
  8. 2.6.8 is currenlty in testing and 2.6.7 is currenlty available for download.

    Using web service

Okay, so I guess turning on a scene is not like turning on a node. I guess I have some more reading to do. Thanks.

    Using web service

I just noticed something I find strange. Ihave a SwitchLin Dimmer (2476D) that is linked to a KeypadLinc Dimmer (2486) button C. When I use the web service to turn on the 2476, it does not turn on Buttom C on the 2486. What am I failing to do when I send the command to the web service? Here is what I am sending: aUDIServiceParam.control = "DFON" aUDIServiceParam.action = "" aUDIServiceParam.flag = "1" aUDIServiceParam.node = "D 2F 11 1" Thanks, Gaty
  11. If all is working fine, then there is no hurry to upgrade. If you want the new features, then you will want to upgrade.
  12. When I bring up the Universal Devices Administrative Console, I notice that most of the time, the Current State is blank. Is there anything I need to do to 'fix' this little problem. Even when I do a 'Query' the state remains blank. Michel, I have sent you an email with the URL and login so you may view this if you please to. Best regards, Gary
  13. I just had a thought. A combo, motion/light sensor. Now that would be cool and very useful.
  14. Dear Mike; I hate you. With much Love, Gary All kidding aside, that is GREAT news. I have one ordered and will put it to work the very minute it is delivered. If it works as well as you indicate, I will end up ordering several. I do wish they would make an AC version. I'd like to put a few in areas where it won't be so easy to get to them to change the battery. Or at least an a plug for an AC adapter.

    Program Bahaviour

At this point, the ISY needs a simple schedular.

    How to reset ISY26?

At this point, I think it's worse than a simple reset will fix. I think you're going to have to send it in for repair.

    Program Bahaviour

What if you reversed the first condition? IF CielingFan-Motor is ON THEN (do nothing) ELSE Repeat every 30 minutes Set CielingFanScene ON Wait 30 seconds Set CielingFanScene OFF
  18. Just to make sure we are ont he same page. I requets an email field so I may enter the email address of the email account for the SMTP server. In my case isyalerts@mydomain.com Then emails will show they came from isyalerts@mydomain.com and not alerts@universal-devices.com. Is this what you intend to do Michel? Best regards, Gary
  19. I'm enterested in using ColdFusion to call the web service. So where do I find the documentation on what I need to pass and what I get back. Help me Ben Forta, help me. Gary
  20. I put in the username (which is NOT the email address) to the account on my mail server.
  21. I'm confused here. I don't use the default, but when mail is sent it comes from alerts@universal-devices.com.
  22. I did receive the null-modem cable. The unit is on and I'm setting it up. So far, I'm very happy with this. Gary
  23. Ah, and the null-modem cable. I didn't get the quick start guide nor even an invoice or any other paper work. I did print the manuals so I don't need you to send anything. I just wanted inform you. I should have a new PLM this week and I look forward to many hours of bugging my wife. Thanks again for a great product, Gary Funk
  24. The new unit arrived today and works great. I upgraded to 2.6.7, configured it to use my SMTP server, and sent a test message. It worked but I did notice one small item and I have a suggestion. It send mail from alerts@universal-devices.com. My server complained about this as alerts@universal-devices.com has no rights to send email via my server, even with proper login. I bypassed this and made it work, but.. May I ask that in the next version you and an "email" field to the SMTP login? Thanks for the replacing the bad unit quickly. Your support is GREAT! One more question. When I received the initial unit, all that was included was the ISY and two Ethernet cables. No power supply, no manual, no CD. I don't need or even want these, but should I have received them? Best regards, Gary Funk
  25. Message is sent. Remind me to put you on my Christmas list. You guys are great. Gary
