I will start work on an application for tablets this summer. I will be using a product called phonegap to write the application as it's just easy to do.
I read it, rather quickly, and I too found it confusing. I'd like to see a step-by-step set of instructions.
So, when I get time, I will read it again, and write up the instructions.
That is basically what I am looking for. I am fully aware of that thread. I am looking for a simple solution, that anyone with a smartphone (even the iPhone) can implement, without additional cost or hardware.
Thank you for the link and reply.
Best regards,
One such purpose is my phone can send a WOL when it connects to my network. This tells the network I am home.
I drive up in my car, at 3:15, my phone connects to my WiFi network and sends a WOL to the ISY. The ISY sees that it is 3:15 +/-10 minutes and runs a program. This program opens the garage door, turns the TV to the Western Channel. I walk in and Gunsmoke is on and all the kids have left the room because they hate black and with TV shows.
End result: I get a few minutes of peace and quiet.
I am wondering if the ISY can read a WOL that is sent to it.
If yes, what how can I use this in a program?
In no, would you consider adding this to the code?
I was doing 6b. It was very unclear that I also had to use 6c. Very Unclear.
Thanks for the help. I'm updated and have made a note to do this on all upgrades in the future.
I have installed 4.0.1 and I notice the UI is still at 3.3.10.
I have cleared the Java cache and reinstalled 4.0.1 several times, yet still no change in the UI.
It has to be something I am doing wrong. Anyone have anything for me to try?
Resistance and voltage aren't the same. I will take a guess and suggest the IOLinc is looking at resistance. 5 VDC can have a very large resistance, so it won't see it as closed. Now, if you put a very small 5VDC relay on the 5V bus, then you could use that relay to supply the closed contacts.
Wow Michel,
The upgrade to .15 went smooth from my notebook with Kaspersky installed. I used https to do the install and went first try.
I'll check on the rest and soap later tonight.
