Insteon Heat Pump Thermostat
Hmm, I don't see an On for the thermostat. There is Fan Off, Fan On, Mode Off, Mode Heat, Mode Cool, Mode Auto, Mode Fan, Mode Program Auto, Mode Program Heat and Mode Program Cool. Is "Automation / Music Room / Thermastat / Music Room - Main," a scene? If so, what are the contents of the scene?

How to mirror 2 6-dButton KPLs?
That's exactly what this topic was about. Grouping is easy if only one device is involved. For anything involving more than one device, scenes are required.

How to mirror 2 6-dButton KPLs?
The (original) manual method for creating radio buttons requires a lot, lot, lot of button pushing and is cumbersome, especially if a wrong button is pressed inadvertently. The grouping feature provided by the ISY requires just a few clicks. A problem, as noted above, is that the grouping is not carried over to scenes, only the device itself responds to the grouping.

How to mirror 2 6-dButton KPLs?
Grouping affects only the device itself.

Echo integration and older ISY
Yes, you can use the same PLM. But, if it's two or more years old, then you may want to buy a back-up PLM now.

How to mirror 2 6-dButton KPLs?
You may want to more carefully read the Button Grouping WARNING and use scenes like the example I gave. Grouping affects only the device itself, not scenes.

Fan Linc - Must use Fast Off to turn off?
Hmm, if the load drops, then even Fast Off won't complete.

Fan Linc - Must use Fast Off to turn off?
You can easily test Lee's conjecture. Create a program that give you an indication if the furnace draw drops below 500 watts. Then run your program with an Off, not a Fast Off. It the load drops before 20 minutes, then the program will evaluate as false and stop running.

Another 3-way question
The Inston signal travels primarily through a hard wire and has RF as a backup. But, control is via logic circuits. My dad gave great advice. I didn't always think so at the time, but the older I got the wiser he became

Changing Status Of A KPL Button
I set a Front Off button the Non-Toggle Off and use the following program: If Status 'CR / Devices / CR FanLinc-Light 80' is not Off Or Status 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 45' is not Off Or Status 'LR / Devices / LR Ceiling Light KPL 20' is not Off Then Set Scene 'DR / Scenes / DR Front Off Button' On Else Set Scene 'DR / Scenes / DR Front Off Button' Off If any one of the devices is at any brightness level, then the button is lit. The button is unlit when either all the devices are off or I press the Front Off button.

Scenes within a scene
Most Insteon devices can be a responder to hundreds of scenes, but can be a controller of only one.

Can the motion sensor be used looking down?
A 360º degree sensor can see only 180º when mounted on the ceiling. Or will see only motion from the ceiling to a few feet below, depending on how you mount it. What is the shape of the area you want to cover? Provide dimensions.

Another 3-way question
If you did not drop the fixture from the start, then you did not follow the instructions at all. If you did not drop the fixture from the start, then don't expect a working system. If you did not drop the fixture from the start, then consider yourself lucky that you didn't destroy something.

Another 3-way question
Do not install a standard switch in the single-gang box. Check the voltage between the black and white wires at the single-gang box.
