  1. Do you mean something other than insteon or ISY? They are both within the same second
  2. It is not part of that scene and I created the scene about a month ago
  3. I will check for sure but does seem like a coincidence that its at the same time as the all off scene
  4. Also my deck light wasn't supposed to turn off until 9:35am What part of the log shows that the door opened?
  5. No the trigger reverse box is not checked on the options Just momentary B and LED on TX
  6. how do I check that?
  7. Below is a log of the events. Can anyone explain why my garage door opened at 2:57am? The scene "All On Off" is to turn off any lights left on at 2:57am. That scene does not include the iolinc for the garage. 8. So in your example above? If I just use the repeat 3 line then a command and nothing else, it would repeat that command. If I had another line after the one I wanted repeated, I need to put repeat 1 then a new command?
  9. What would happen without the "repeat 1 time" line?
  10. Can you use the "Repeat" command in a program, to only repeat the line above it or does it repeat all lines within the "then" group? For example when I close my back door I want a few lights to go out but sometimes they don't always go out so I wanted to only repeat the porch light turning off. Thanks

    whats the difference?

I'm tempted to disable the ability to open and close the garage and just get notifications when it's opened
  13. Blackbird replied to Blackbird's topic in ISY994
how do you prevent this? Is there a fix?

Has anyone had a garage door open from an all on event?
  15. Blackbird posted a topic in ISY994
I was in my porch area when I had an all on event. I've seen others talk of this and I'm not sure if they mean everything turns on or just a scene that has all on all off. I'm my case it turned on a scene that had about 6 lights come on. I do have a motion sensor in the porch that turn on the porch lights and the lights were on. I think it may also have been at the same time the deck lights turned on with a sunset program. I saw that my outside light was on and the 8 button keypad also showed it was on as well as the other lights. The outside light is part of the all on scene. As soon as I pushed the button on the keypad to turn off the outside lights, all the lights went out. Any ideas?
  16. Thanks guys for all the helpful replies, that Ecobee looks very good.
  17. Don't forget the "cool factor" I am guilty of wanting these automations, out of convenience and that its cool to have
  18. Just wondering if I can use these thermostats with ISY and Insteon. Honeywell RET97A5E Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/wi-fi-smart-thermostat-with-color-display-ret97a5e1001u.htm Honeywell Lyric Wifi Smart Thermostat http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/lyric-thermostat-wifi-smart-control-rch9300wf.htm and the NEST Im most interested in the 1st one. If these are compatible, does it require an upgrade to the isy? Thanks
  19. The motion sensor outside, randomly send notifications during the day when there is nothing visible to set it off. But at night it works fine and only notifies me when there is actual movement.
  20. My mistake. I meant that all 3 control the light.
  21. I will give it a try. Why the B button? And is this a common problem?
  22. I have two 8 button mini remotes and every time I add a new device or make changes to devices, the ISY tries to write to the two mini remotes (even though the device isn't associated to the remote) and fails because it cant communicate with the remotes. I have the non pro ISY and the remotes work fine.
  23. In my scene "Parking Stall Light" I only have two controllers both in red "Parking Stall Light SW" and "Parking stall light KP B". I did not add the motion sensor to the scene because I wanted to control the time the light stays on and I have a second program that sends notifications day or night. I tried doing what you suggest but in the "in scene" if I choose "Parking stall light KP B" then my only option in "set" is "parking Stall Light SW"
  24. I have a light at my parking stall outside. I have the switchlinc (Parking Stall Light SW) in the garage that directly controls that light. In the house I have an 8 button Keypad (Parking stall light KP that also turns on that light. Outside at the parking stall I have a motion sensor (Parking Motion 5 -Sensor) that turns on the light as well. All 3 are set as controllers and all 3 turn on the light fine. The problem is, if the motion sensor turns on the light, it does not light up the keypad in the house. I have tried the following program to get this to work. If Status 'Parking Stall Light SW' is 100% Then Set 'Parking stall light KP B' On 15 / Off 0 (Backlight Level) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Also in regards to a previous post about an ALL ON event, I seem to remember reading that it was in relation to the combination between the keypad and the motion sensor. Is this true and am I at risk of this setup? Thanks
