  1. Probably asked before but I wanted to know when the ne firmware will be released. Im not daring enough to try a beta. Thanks
  2. Does assistant relay run through ISY?
  3. No idea what the Harmony node server is, does it work within the ISY? You mentioned Polyglot, I received an email from UD about Polyglot and being able to control Ecobee, but requires the beta firmware for ISY. Is this what your referring to Jimbo?
  4. If I say, good morning google, it will play the news and weather
  5. I have google home turning on lights but can the ISY control google home? For example I say "hey google TV" and my tv turns on through harmony. I'd like to open my door and have google turn the tv on or announce the news when I open the bedroom door in the morning. Is this possible? Thanks
  6. Well that does make sense but cant Universal Devices make it so the ISY logs it if a heartbeat has been received, regardless of a change of state? Thanks
  7. Well hopefully they fix this in a future update. Thanks
  8. I get regular heartbeats from all my sensors, once every 24 hours but it does not always show up in the log. Any idea why? Thanks
  9. What programs do you use for monitoring the battery on the door sensors? Thanks
  10. I will try the Elk idea. Thanks
  11. As I said above, it is a Watchnet system and the model is an ENS. It does have the alarm connections. I think your idea of an I/O linc, might be the answer. Yes my system can pick areas of motion but I don't want false alarms. I only want it to snap when the lid opens. Thanks
  12. I also have ELK so maybe it can be done that way?
  13. Thanks for the replies. I do have the option to email a snapshot when motion is detected. The problem is the motion on the cameras, get detected very often, even with light movement. I hooked up an insteon door switch to my mailbox and want to get a snapshot of my mailbox, whenever the mailbox is opened.
  14. Mine is a dedicated NVR. It is a Watchnet ENS
  15. Can the NVR of a camera system, be used in some way with the ISY? A friend suggested having the camera take a snapshot when an insteon device was activated like a door opening. Thanks
  16. Great, I will give it a try. Thanks
  17. Is there a way to create a list on excel or text document, an expanded list of all of your programs and devices? Thanks
  18. I believe when I bought the network module in the past, it came with 2 years of portal but a friend wants to get it and I wanted to make sure that it is still the same. Thanks
  19. Yes I'm lazy, I don't want to have to push the button twice like a chump! The options for the remote button is LED, Beep, 4-secen, 8 scene toggle(checked) and 8-scene non- toggle and it does show a current status but I cant change it
  20. As my remote works now is I push the kitchen button (1-A) and the light on the remote is green and turns on the kitchen light. Push again and the light turns red and the kitchen lights go out. Problem is if the status on the remote is "off" and I turn my kitchen light on by the light switch, the next time I go to turn the lights off with the remote, I have to push the button twice. I was wondering if there was a way to write a program that would be like this. If Status of kitchen light is on Then Set status of remote 1-A to on I don't see the option to set a status in the then section. Anyone have an idea how to make this work? Thanks
  21. I thought it would be cool to click the "Watch a movie" program on the Harmony and have the lights dim. I guess Ill just have to go through the anguish of having to push the insteon remote button that sits right next to me.
  22. Once again Jimbo, your knowledge is way beyond what I can comprehend. I don't even know anything about polyglot. Looks like I might just stick to my insteon remote to turn off the lights. Thanks for the help Thanks, so the ISY would need to be next to my TV then right?
