I want to use a set of electric photo sensors that come with a garage door opener and connect it to the iolinc so if anyone passes through the beam it will send an alert. Is this possible and how would I wire it? Thanks

These are the instructions Kaspersky sent me on how to add your ip to the trusted sites. It now works fine. Thanks guys To add a website to the Trusted URLs list: Open Kaspersky. Click on 'Settings'. Click on 'Protection' on the left. Click on 'Web Ant-Virus' on the right. Click on 'Advanced Settings'. Click on 'Configure trusted web pages'. Click on the 'Add' button. Enter the web address in the same format as shown: http://*.example.com/* Select 'Active'. Click on the 'Add' button. If needed, repeat the process for additional sites. Close the 'Trusted web pages' window. Click the Back arrow in the upper left three times to return to the main window. Retry the web site. If it does not work, close all open web browsers and reopen the site.

Is the ip address found in the "about" in admin console?

That link suggests allowing Java complete access on Kaspersky. That doesn't sound like a good idea

Kaspersky was the problem Michel, you were on the right track. I'm guessing that Kaspersky (on both my computers) updated and it didn't agree with the ISY. So do make an exception for Java in Kaspersky?

I also tried a different Ethernet cable to the ISY and still same problem

New info! I just tried logging into the admin console from my HTPC but I have the same problem. I used to be able to log in before and nothings changed on that computer but now I cant.

I get the universal devices logo, then very briefly at the bottom windows says its running a security scan in the middle of the screen, admin console loads, asks for my login, I enter it, then for a brief second I see my ISY and then it closes.

Is that for the admin console or the firmware for the isy?

I'm using Kaspersky internet securities

I had to enter the admin password to install. I did login as admin and had the same results. I see my scenes for about 1 second then it closes

I downloaded and installed the 32 bit version. It is in my program 86 folder. But it still doesn't work. Only difference about this windows install besides windows 10 vs 8 is I am a user not an admin. Before I just ran my user name as an Admin

I'm not sure what you mean by which option to download admin console? I'm not sure of my firmware until I can get into the ISY to see

How do I uninstall the admin console? I don't see it in my programs

I just did a fresh install of windows 10 and java. When I open the admin console, it asks for my login, I type it in and briefly I can see my scenes then the admin console closes. Any idea what the problem is?

My relay is set to momentary B

it does only query the relay and I did separate it in the scenes. Do I even need to have the relay in a scene?

Mine is Android and with the querry program it works perfect. Without it does not

I now remember why I had the query program for the garage door. When I use mobilinc for android I open the door fine but the relay stays open so I have to tap it a bunch of times to close the relay then the door. Using the query program, resets the relay to closed as soon as the door is totally open or totally closed.

Yes looks good. First week I installed it I had the sensor wire in a place where the door rubbed it and it stripped the wires. Been fixed now but have seen a problem with the wires that goto the garage door opener
