But no dim?

Yes I'm lazy, I don't want to have to push the button twice like a chump! The options for the remote button is LED, Beep, 4-secen, 8 scene toggle(checked) and 8-scene non- toggle and it does show a current status but I cant change it

As my remote works now is I push the kitchen button (1-A) and the light on the remote is green and turns on the kitchen light. Push again and the light turns red and the kitchen lights go out. Problem is if the status on the remote is "off" and I turn my kitchen light on by the light switch, the next time I go to turn the lights off with the remote, I have to push the button twice. I was wondering if there was a way to write a program that would be like this. If Status of kitchen light is on Then Set status of remote 1-A to on I don't see the option to set a status in the then section. Anyone have an idea how to make this work? Thanks

I thought it would be cool to click the "Watch a movie" program on the Harmony and have the lights dim. I guess Ill just have to go through the anguish of having to push the insteon remote button that sits right next to me.

I just bought this remote and see that it can control the hub but don't know about the ISY. I don't have the ISY with IR, is there any way to make this work, maybe by buying an addon device? Thanks

I want to open my bedroom door between 1am and 6am and when it is open the bathroom lights turn on at 1% I currently have a program running but being that the bedroom door is normally open during the day, when 1am hits and the door is still open, the lights come on in the bathroom. Bedroom door open night bathroom light on If Status 'Bedroom Door-Opened' is On And From 1:00:00AM To 6:00:00AM (same day) Then Set 'Bathroom Light' 1% Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

I want to close my bedroom door and have the bedroom lights to ramp down for 21 seconds. I know how to adjust the scene to change the ramp speed when the switch is pressed and I know how the dim feature works in the programs but the dim is too quick. I just want to close my bedroom door (which has a door sensor) and have the lights slowly dim without hitting the light switch

I just checked and yes, for some reason I had a program also controlling the lights. I disabled it and will see if it stops happening. Thanks guys

I have a dimmer switch in the garage named "garage lights inside" and a 8 button keypad in the house named "Garage Lights KP C" . Both control the interior lights of the garage. Sometimes if I turn the garage lights on then off then on again with the dimmer, the lights start to flash and it gets into a never ending loop. The only way to stop it is by disabling the "garage lights inside" dimmer then re enable it. The "Garage Lights KP C" keypad and the "garage lights inside" dimmer are both a controller and responder for the "inside garage lights" scene which the "garage lights inside" dimmer is a part of. Have I messed up something here? usually it works fine but this looping has happened about a dozen times now. Any suggestions? Thanks

Can I use a standard 3 way light switch in the basement and a insteon light switch upstairs to control the same lights? Or do both have to be insteon? Thanks

I just installed 2 more leak detectors and neither one show anything in the current state box Just updated the isy now none of my wireless sensors show any info in the current state box

I have the switch at the door wired as n/c but the wire at the i/o link is wired the the n/o. So when door is closed the green light on the i/o link is on. Is that right?

The water shutoff I have only has 3 wires (Red, Green and black) where as the ELK has (Green, Black, Red, White) Any idea about this? I'm guessing green on mine is white on the ELK but I'm not sure
