Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
Top of the review tab that Teken provided a link to. Now it does not address what part or parts they changed. I suspect power supply but it could be something else.

Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
I see in the 2413S Reviews Tab. Smarthome's reply to failures. Indicates that they have identified a component failing in any revision below 2.3 and that as of January 2017 revision 2.3 should have the revised component or components in it. They also tried to gloss over the failures as only in some situations.

Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
Glad you found the problem. My eyes are not what they use to be either. My large magnifying glass gets more use everyday Those 5 volt regulators can usually take a beating. I believe they have a shorted output shut down to a safe level built in.

Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
Look at post #282 of this thread. There is a schematic of the power supply portion of the PLM in that message. I would double check for things like small solder bridges or a broken PCB run. I damaged a run in one of my repairs. By tearing out a plated through hole and small piece of the run attached to it.

Insteon Wireless Thermostat (2441ZTH)
Insure that you don't do a short cycle. Where the time period between the Off and the next On is short. Could be damaged by a short cycle. Almost all of the permanently installed HVAC units have a 5 minute time out between calling for a Cooling cycle. I know my portable room air conditioner use the have restarting issues if the power cycled Off and back On in a short time period.

Keypadlinc will not retain LED levels
All about the same age would not explain the problem. Some users have different age modules with different firmware. Some versions of firmware can have issues doing some functions.
-
Keypadlinc will not retain LED levels
Are all the KeypadLincs the same hardware and firmware revision? If they are brand new. Did you factory reset then first? As we sometimes see test links in factory new modules. Not removed before the factory shipped them. Many here have learned to always do a factory reset on any new modules we purchased.

Replace an Insteon countdown timer on a fan with...?
I am glad to see you are back in business. Sorry I was not more specific in my power reset post. Teken nailed it.

Replace an Insteon countdown timer on a fan with...?
Did you try a power cycle reset on the devices? On the off chance they powered back up in a confused state.

Error & Memory Lights Flashing
Have you tried opening a UDI Support ticket? UDI is very responsive. You can reference this thread in the Support Ticket. http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-support/

Firefox Update 52 - no npapi
There is a Firefox V52 esr version. That still supports the npapi Java Plug In. I found it while searching the Firefox help web pages. I probably will not use it. As I have no big issues so far.

Error & Memory Lights Flashing
Have you had a chance to read the WIKI information on the Error and Memory LEDs flashing? Even if the PLM was dead. It should not be flashing the Error and Memory LED's. When my PLM failed. The only thing that happened was the system went into Safe Mode. No network issues happened. You even tried two ISY994i controllers with the same problem. Pointing to a network issue. You have something bad in your network. The two LEDs in the Network Jack of the iSY994i. Are they On and if there is network activity one maybe blinking? By chance did this happen when you had to change your internet modem and is it also your router?

Error & Memory Lights Flashing
If the Error and Memory LEDs flashing it is a network problem. From the UDI WIKI. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs.2FLights

Wireless thermostat 2441ZTH
Is the 2441ZTH running on an optional DC wall wart or battery? On battery it is in power saving mode and a Query will not work unless woken up. Though it should send temperature changes when detected. Not sure how much of a temperature change is needed for it to send an update.

Firefox Update 52 - no npapi
My Firefox just updated also. Now I get an annoying pop up informing me a web site, including here, is not secure. Log ins could be compromised. Then again when I click on the Password line. Password maybe compromised if you continue message. I have found no way to disable this very annoying feature.

Bad Garage Door Status at 0300 on two occasions
Stu, Are you referencing the NC and NO relay contacts or the magnetic sensor in the kit? I just looked. The present kit has the single contact arrangement magnetic sensor. Not the older more expensive one with NO and NC outputs.

Issues with ISY 994i - Defective PLM?
It does sound like the PLM maybe on its way out or failed. If it is over two years old and is a 2413S. When you cycled the power. Did you power up the PLM first and allow it to initialize? Before powering the ISY994i controller?

Is it time to replace my PLM?
There are a few threads here on the All-On phenomenon. Many times there was a Motion Sensor in the mix.

Open/Close Sensor vs. IO Linc?
Smarthome recently updated the sales page for the I/O Linc to indicate it was power line only and a range extender maybe needed in some installations. I imagine many users where not aware the I/O Linc was an older design power line only module. The box I got my Retail Boxed I/O Linc actually says on it "Wire Band".

Is it time to replace my PLM?
It has served you well. Probably much longer than the slightly over two years old most fail at. If you decide to try and rebuild the module as a spare. The V1.0 hardware was different. There was some rework on the main board to add the second capacitor and coil. They are hanging above the main board and not soldered directly to it. Somewhere in the large PLM repair thread here. Is a photo of the V1.0 layout. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13866-repair-of-2413s-plm-when-the-power-supply-fails/

Open/Close Sensor vs. IO Linc?
While the Open/Closed Sensor. Needs no AC wiring to use it. Like mounted on a door to detect when it was opened. Both modules have advantages depending on where used and what you want to do with it.

Replace With command failing
I had the same issue. When I replaced some 2456S3 AppliaanceLincs with the 2635-222 On/Off Module. As Teken pointed out. They are not a same module type so the replace with will not offer it as a replacement.

ISY Troubleshooting
Did you follow the instruction on how to replace the PLM? http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19331-my-plm-died-and-i-bought-a-new-one-what-should-i-do-next/ Have there been any changes in the home? Like a new electronic device or moved an existing electronic device. Is the PLM on the same electrical circuit as the computing equipment? If it is are you using a filter to isolate the computing equipment from the PLM?

Communication Issue?
Depending on the hardware revision of the 2412S. It may have the small Link Database size of 417 links the later ones where >2000 links but more than 800 would slow it down too much.
-
Communication Issue?
Pop and LED off. Has failed completely. You need a new one or rebuild the old one. Make sure you follow the proper replacement thread in an earlier post in this thread.
