Can't add ISY scene to Alexa group?

I'm moving from multi Alexa accounts to separate groups will all Echo devices under a single master Alexa account. 

Original setup happened before groups existed. 

Skill v3 and ISY FW 4.7.3. 

I'm able to add light devices to groups and the scenes are being discovered in Alexa app but they are not showing as 'valid devices' when I edit a group so I'm unable to add.

surely I'm missing something pretty basic? Any hint would be welcome.

Alexa groups are not identical to ISY groups/scenes. So, you are not going to see valid devices in the ISY scenes in the Alexa app.
