Hello everyone,

This is a minor release that fixes the following issues:

- More  case sensitivity issues:
-- Backup/Restore
-- SMTP
-- Variables
- PGC Node Servers were not being installed properly

Instructions:

sudo pkg upgrade udx
sudo pkg upgrade isy
sudo service udx restart
sudo service isy restart

With kind regards,
Michel

I had to restart installed PG3 nodeservers but no other issues with the upgrade.

SMTP works :-)

Might have spoke to soon

Test mail from a group works perfect

When I try to send a custom message - no joy

test send smtp - [ID 0003][Parent 0001]

If
   - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition')

Then
Send Notification to 'Default' content 'test1.1'

Else
   - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Nothing appears to send to any of the 3 destinations

I tried creating a second message this morning and that message works, so I have something wonky in my message. Sorry for the call out

@Michel Kohanim,

I just recently attempted to log into the ISY on Polisy via the Admin Console and received the following error message:

XML Parse Error http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/desc

The Admin Console shell loaded with some menu items missing (only File menu was there), but I never got the login window.  Same error whether I used Cloud or Local.

I stopped and restarted the ISY service and this corrected the problem.  I had logged in this morning without issue and I'm not aware of anything changing between then and now.  This is the first time I've seen this error.

@mbking,

Can you please send me your ISY's error log?

Hi all, I'm trying to setup smtp on my Polisy and when I click Recipients i get an error per attached. I did clear my java cache but it didn't help.

I seem to remember I had the same problem on my prod ISY but I'm not sure what I did to get it to work.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

mike

Update fixed.

Used this workaround which I used on the ISY.

1. Click on "Recipients" bar

2. Dismiss "Invalid Email Address" error

3. Delete button at bottom is now active; press this.

4. Add button is now active.

Unfortunately I keep getting this error. All the latest updates and procedures have been done.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I got that error after the update.  It went away after a full upgrade, update and a reboot.

However, I continue to get an smtp error message even though my test messages are sending properly.

Update

I continue to get the UXT error after a reboot but it goes away until the next reboot.

I also continue to get an SMTP error despite the email being sent properly.

Update

Just realized that emails work with out any problem and no error message. It was a text message that I was sending along with the email that was causing the problem.

Thanks Gary

UPDATE: Just an observation. If a text Recipient is included in the groups name list I will get the errors and the email won't be sent.

I am using

XXXXXXXXXX@mms.att.net

and receiving texts fine Did you use a comma between ?

...Barry

It does place a comma between automatically. Also tried a text separately. But I think I lost my Group name file in the process. Nothing can be saved. Not important at this point. Will probably need to open a ticket.

Thanks Gary

I've noticed that the INIT=1 value I set for one of my State Variables reverts to 0 when the ISY service is rebooted.  I assume those values should be persistent.

I came to the party a little late.  I followed the various post and I am running ISY on Polisy.  There must have been some updates as it reports ISY version 5.0.4_28.  Going to do some testing soon.  Thanks for your hard work UDI !

Good to hear constant micro updates.

I haven't made the jump yet as it means rebuilding a PLM so I can trust it and I have had so many compound LAN and modem problems that I was avoiding adding any complexity to my system before trusting other components.

@Michel Kohanim, Is there documentation on how to transition from an ISY-994i Pro/PLM 2413S to ISY on Polisy with a PLM USB?

I've successfully gotten ISY on Polisy to show up on the ISY Finder and can login into the 5.0.4 Admin Console.

Not sure if I can simply restore from my ISY-994i 5.3.3 back up to  Polisy 5.0.4 or something else is involved

Thanks!

In case you'd like a faster answer than you'll get from Michel on Saturday...

ISY on Polisy isn't ready for production use yet.  Its available in ALPHA form for testing and bug reporting. There isn't a Z-wave interface yet.  There are still many bugs being reported.   I don't know for sure, but I don't think restore from backup works yet.

The documentation you asked about in your first sentence doesn't exist yet, and so far I don't think it's even been tested on large scale as yet.

@MrBillok, thank you for the update.

It appears the restore does work now, as reported in this same thread.
