garybixler Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 (edited) Thanks Techman I'll put the extra nodes in a folder. Just wondering if they can just be deleted. Something to try. Just discovered that the config needs to be done from the main node only. So all works great. Thanks Gary Edited December 12, 2021 by garybixler

Thanks Gary I would be a little nervous deleting nodes while some software at the source end, may be still trying to stuff values into memory space that could be dedicated to another purpose in my ISY.Talk about a memory leak? More like a memory overflow. Sounds like an HA user's troubleshooting nightmare.Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
Michel Kohanim Posted December 12, 2021 Author Posted December 12, 2021 Hello everyone, We are almost done with our migration utility from ISY994 5x backup to Polisy (not 4x). So, if you don't want to start from scratch, please give us a few more days. With kind regards, Michel 11

Both devices are working as expected. I added a Zooz and Aeotec Range Extender 5 as well. I did not expect to see two z-wave devices being added when I added the repeater - a multilevel switch and the repeater itself. I'm not entirely sure I understand why, do you see the same thing? Update: Reading further on in this forum thread, I gather phantom nodes can pop up when adding z-wave devices. The message is to just ignore them. Edited December 12, 2021 by mmb

I just create a folder and move those nodes to the folder and ignore them. Not sure exactly what your configuration issue is. You could be entering an incorrect value. When you do enter a value be sure to click in the "set configuration" button to the left Thanks, interesting about the phantom node. I have one called Multilevel Switch with the repeater I installed.
garybixler Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Z-Wave question. I have added a couple of Z-Wave devices (ZooZ ZEN76 and ZEN 17) to the Polisy ISY. They can be controlled from the ISY fine but any local control doesn't seem to be recognized by the ISY. The device status isn't updated. I have tried multiple Z-WAVE settings and device configurations but nothing works. The following is what I see on the event log when a device is locally switched on or off. Thanks. Any insight appreciated. Gary
RB3 Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 (edited) I am testing out zwave and might have a similar issue. I have Ecolink motion sensors installed on my ISY944i and I excluded and moved a couple to the Polisy. But on the Polisy they do not receive status updates. It always shows as on (for 18+ hours now). On my ISY944i they would turn to off after a few minutes with no motion. Anyone else having any issues like this? I am using the Z-Wave Zooz Stick. Thanks, /Richard Edited December 15, 2021 by RB3
mjrush Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 I added two HomeSeer HS-MS100 motion sensors to ISY on Polisy. They added ok but don't seem to update when there is motion. I also added some Leviton plug in outlets. These send hail instead of status and that seems to be working.
RB3 Posted December 16, 2021 Posted December 16, 2021 I see the motion sensor on and then off a few minutes later in the event viewer, but the device status does not update. I guess something is not working the same in this version?

MWareman Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Did a 'pkg update && pkg upgrade' yesterday - and got the following two build updates: Dec 18 22:42:04 polisy pkg[93471]: udx upgraded: 2.5.3_2 -> 2.5.3_4 Dec 18 22:42:29 polisy pkg[93471]: isy upgraded: 5.2.0_58 -> 5.2.0_69 (among others)@Michel Kohanim are any of the above issues resolved in this minor update - or should we wait for a dot point update? I think that the issue of the API not exposing node names correctly is also affecting how UDI Mobile displays nodes. It's displaying integers instead of names for the status of the Elk system.
Michel Kohanim Posted December 19, 2021 Author Posted December 19, 2021 @MWareman, Unfortunately not. These were minor fixes: 1. Factory reset didn't reset the ISY's configuration 2. Reset credentials didn't reset ISY's credentials 3. UDX gave up as soon as it could not connect with MQ broke Migration took a little longer. But, we should be done this week. With kind regards, Michel 1
keepersg Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Basic question on ISY on Polisy. SSH to Polisy and following the directions for sudo pkg update, sudo pkg upgrade, sudo service isy restart informs me that isy is not found. So of course the ISY Finder can't find it. I must be missing a basic step but I can't find it in the forum discussions.
kzboray Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 (edited) @keepersgSomeone else had a similar problem recently and the issue was the age of their Polisy. If you are working with an older (early purchase) Polisy that hasn't been updated recently you can try the following. I assume no responsibility for the results. For the older Polisy's that are a bit behind in updates, you can try the following. First: curl -s https://pkg.isy.io/script/update121.sh | sudo bash sudo shutdown -r now Wait for the Polisy to completely reboot, this can take quite awhile (~10min). Now: cat /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/update13.sh | sudo bash sudo shutdown -r now Once again wait for your Polisy to completely reboot. Your Polisy should now be available in the ISY Launcher. keepersg Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Thank you very much! That worked brilliantly. Took a long time for the updates. I did buy the Polisy very early in the rollout.... Happy Holidays! 2
bgrubb1 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Was there a fix for Z-wave devices bot updating in ISY as I and others reported here ?? Don't want to do my migration if Z-wave isn't functional Thank You ...Barry
Michel Kohanim Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 All, Amongst other fixes, long awaited backup/restore is now ready! Happy New Year! With kind regards, Michel

With kind regards, Michel @Michel Kohanim I have a ZLINK Plug-in Dimmer ZL-PD-100 that doesn't update the Ploisy controller at all on a manual button press. My Leviton plugin module is working fine in both directions (although a little laggy). I contacted the reseller and his testing indicated it was updating but on another type of controller. The module works fine when controlling from the Polisy to the module. He suggested I contact UDI for support. Is there further refinement to z-wave that may get this thing running or should I return it?
