saclarkdoc Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 My old 994i is no longer working. However I do have a current backup from that controller. I have just installed a new eisy. Is it possible to use my old 994i backup to populate my new eisy Admin Console?

There are about a dozen recent posts on how to migrate in addition to the wiki instructions. Just google eisy migration.

I guess you didn't read the migration instructions before asking this because restoring a backup on eisy is the central piece. Please read the instructions and then read them again, and finally read and follow each step as you are implementing i.e. there is more to it than simply and only restoring the backup, but yes and ISY-994 backup is the central piece for moving your devices and programs to eisy.
DennisC Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 As others have indicated, you can use your backup and restore it on eisy, however, you will not be able to "migrate". As indicated in the directions documentation, the two are not the same. Migration includes moving ZWave if you meet the requirements. From the instructions: "Once you have your "migration" backup you are ready to migrate A migration backup is different than a regular backup. When a migration backup is restored it also migrates your Z-Wave network."
