I don't know what is going on but I'm real tired of it. .... HELP PLEASE ..... FYI..... bpwwer Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Seems like it can't find/detect the bridge ERROR hue:connect: Cannot find Hue Bridge Before that, it says get_ip_address: Connecting to discovery.meethue.com/ So my guess would be that it's not getting what it wants when it calls discovery.meethue.com. But I don't know anything about how this node server is supposed to work.

I have rebuilt my Hue network every two weeks and the node will just drop and no longer connect to it anymore. This started about three or four months ago, and everyone was having problems with you, and it never seemed to get fixed completely.. Thoughts....

Nothing has changed in my network. Nothing has changed hardware wise but after last update has not been able to sniff out the unit again

When is the updated node server version coming or is it DEAD not not being developed for PG3 anymore. FYI.... I went to Best Buy and bought a brand new Hue bridge to see if that was the problem and it was not. The problem have changed my network and plugged it directly into the router. It's not the problem, I have I've cleaned out all my programming and started fresh on EISY side and on Hue website side and I've talked to Hue and no one seems to figure out what happened... I'm not sure what's happening, and since the node server hasn't been updated in a while would think it should work since it works for some. Since the developer doesn't seem to be responding on the forums it might be best to open a support ticket with UDI to see if they can get some traction with the developer to try to help. https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets Make sure you've read the other posts in the forum as there were hints/tricks to making it work in the past that should still work. It's quite possible something in the PG3x updates might have fouled up new installs and linking to the Hue hub, but I've got this working and it doesn't disconnect. The Hue and the eisy are right next to each other and connected to the same network switch. 1 1

Thank you all for your help and suggestions that I kept trying over and over with no luck but I'm glad it finally works again. this is important because I have a special-needs daughter that is blind in a wheelchair and we have to have the lights working for my wife in healthcare givers.
