Outdoor Video Camera Recommendation?

Are there any recommendations for outdoor video cameras I can add to my Eisy environment that will basically give me the functionality of a Ring doorbell?  Right now I have a motion sensor pointed at my front door from my porch that turns on the porch lights at night.  I'm half-way to a ring system there.  All I need is a compatible video camera for the other half. Suggestions?

I bought three Ring outdoor stickup cameras at Costco years ago, and they work very much like the Ring doorbell regarding motion detection.  The Ring Polyglot plugin works just fine, though there was a time when it wasn't functional.  I hope those days are past...

@Bumbershoot Thanks. I just ordered a single camera from Ring that was on sale for $69.  I'll give it a try.

UD Mobile supports urls for RTSP and MP4 files.

It should work with any rstp cameras supported by VLC App.  Do a quick Google search for the "Make/Model", "VLC" and "RSTP" to see if anyone was able to connect the Make/Model to the VLC app.

I know Arlo cameras use proprietary rstp encryption so they will not work.  Ring does not work.

@Javi I have a Ring Stick-up Camera that I have integrated into my EISY environment with the Ring Node Server.  There is no way to add this to UD Mobile in the cameras area even though it works with EISY?

If I remember correctly Ring API only supports short clips, not a live camera feed.  This is a Ring limitation.

It may be possible to show short clips, but I don't think the Node Server has added this feature.

@Javi I can log into ring.com and I can open a live feed view to my StickUp camera.  Maybe something has changed?

They don't offer this to third parties

I use Blue Iris software to monitor all my cameras and the Blue Iris node server. I find that for the price Foscam has some nice cameras. I have had a number of the cameras die, but only after many years of use and they are so cheap that I don't get upset about buying replacements. Blue Iris does require an always on PC but it is very capable software.

I've used it for 10+ years ... and as well, all of my exterior cameras are PoE IP cameras (2K or higher) ...  and most of them are nearly 10 years old ... they are Dahua (alhua) rebranded cameras and have thus far worked flawlessly.

Additionally, if interested in using a Video DoorBell Camera with Blue Iris, I can confirm that ReoLink's current Video DoorBell Cameras support RTSP / Blue Iris as a full-time streaming camera source.
