Monday at 07:35 PM1 day My Eisy has the internal Z matter board which is z wave 700. Is there matter board with z wave 800? I do have some matter devices so would need to keep that functionality.
Monday at 08:04 PM1 day Yes, there are now several Zwave and Zigbee dongles supported. See the list below. The ZMatter board (despite the name) isn't involved at all with Matter, Matter uses IPv6 through your network interface. So whatever Matter functionality you currently have will remain the same.Z-WaveRequires an external dongle (not included):AeoTec Z-Stick 10 Pro – Dual protocol Zigbee/Z-Wave [ link ]Sonoff Z-Wave 800 Dongle Plus [ link ]Zooz 800 Z-Wave USB Stick [ link ]ZigbeeRequires an external dongle (not included):AeoTec Z-Stick 10 Pro – Dual protocol Zigbee/Z-Wave [ link ]Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus [ link ]

But even the latest release announcement tells us that you need a border router for Thread, and the Zmatter device is now discontinued.
Monday at 11:55 PM1 day Some Matter devices don't require a border router, it depends what type of matter device you have and whether it supports Wi-Fi or ThreadBorder Router Requirements:Matter over Wi-Fi / Ethernet: No border router is needed because these devices connect directly to your home network.Matter over Thread: A Thread border router is required to bridge the low-power Thread mesh network to your main IP network. The eisy controller does not have a built-in Thread radio.
Yesterday at 12:19 AM1 day Of the zwave dongle choices listed above, I’d be prone to favor the sonnoff because based on measurements it is possibly that’s a full 1/2 wave dipole antenna. Thoughts? Edited yesterday at 12:38 AM1 day by hart2hart
Yesterday at 04:41 PM1 day Author Would like to try the Z-stick 10 Pro on my eisy running 6.1.1_3/3.4.23 (with ZMatter board). Where do I find the z wave backup on eisy ui so I can restore it to the Z-stick?
22 hours ago22 hr In the admin console, Z-wave > BackupBefore changing/adding a dongle remove power from the eisyYou should use a right angle usb adapater so the dongle is vertical Edited 22 hours ago22 hr by Techman
