Still locked out. Can seem to reset the password because I cant login.

Done but now I cant connect to the ISY! See DOO DOO!

I airgapped that switch then the console crashed. Now I cant login with my username and password. I tried to reset the password via the pin in the front and power cycling to no avail. This week has just turned into pure doo doo. Any thoughts? Tried my normal login and admin/admin neither work.

Stick with the Venstar 7900 if you can. This is just a webscrape and could stop working at any time. A Venstar T7900 will be better for most with a local API.

So I did a control alt del on the admin console and then factory reset the PLM. I loaded up the admin console again and now its cycling through and not stopping. Its been like this for an hour. Should I factory reset the ISY? This hasn't been a good week! argh.

So heres a stand up guy willing to take the project on for us! Lets give him some $$ so it makes it worth his time! THANKS IOGUY! Ill donate $100 to you for this.

I have done that many times and have never heard back. I also requested to become a dev to get access to the apis, no response. I have made at least two dozen calls to various departments and talked to many people to get no where. I grabbed an ear of them at CES and CEDIA and gotten names and emails to contact which I have done, to guess what...NO RESPONSE! There are vera edge plugins that scape the TCC website which is basically a hack. If the site changes then it goes down and doesnt work. I even asked in another thread if anyone was willing to chip in and pay for a dev to help us setup a similar hack for the ISY but everyone flaked when it comes to putting up money or cheapskates. I would be willing to keep pushing this but how much is this worth to you and if you lost access and we cant fix it how upset would you be? $100 each of us to hire a dev? How many would be in? Thoughts?

So should I do a ctrl alt del and close it or just let it keep going? I do have 30 scenes, with at least six that that all the lights in the house and then change the levels as the scenes progress. IE sunset to evening to relaxing then all off. Each scene has all my inside switches and devices in them. Maybe I have more links than I think?

Yup then put the new PLM in, turned on the ISY, logged in and then did a restore. Seems like its working fine just taking forever.

Hahaha yeah... Hopefully they don't time out! Even just doing one at a time.

Its acting like its working and all the hops are 3s and 2s and its not stopping or freezing up. Watching the event log cruising through too at L3. I counted about 87 devices total.

Bottom line there is no direct APIs available for Honeywell and if you want control its only one way via IFTTT right now (outside the actual Honeywell app).

I didnt check how many links I had because the PLM died but I started restoring the new PLM at around 1pm yesterday and its still going. No errors and its going through the process. I have the log window open on level 3 and its churring along fine and quickly. But man 24 hours now and still going. Wow.

So I bought two types of leds today and both dont work. I put the new bulbs in the flickering recessed can and a lamp at the same dim level and all flicker. For fun I put two of the older flat head Philips leds (older type that look like the Hue bulbs) in both a 40w equiv (470Lumens) and 60w equiv (830Lumens) into the recessed can that was flickering and neither flickered with these bulbs in the lamp or can. This is not scientific but I wonder if the higher equivalent leds notice more flicker than the lower equiv leds. I dont know but this A21 100w equiv flickers bad at all the ranges but high (still some flicker). Maybe thats why some people who have leds dont notice this because maybe they use 40w soft white? I dont any any money and less brainz so...I rather be a lemming and just buy what works. My time has been decreasing over the years as I get older. People say the older you get the faster time goes, which I am starting to notice. Maybe I have piss poor organization of my time? Who knows?! [emoji12] This morning one of the 6" cans in my master bath water closet was flashing a ton so I swapped it with a new Cree Ecosmart I bought as extras for backup but the new led flashed as well so...off to HD to grab some bulbs to tryout.

So based on Tekens response about bad Cree bulbs was kind of where I was going when I said I couldnt find any other (Sylvania) leds at 100w. I was tired last night so I might have missed them online. Sometimes the apps dont search like the websites either. Thankfully we have a 90 day return policy at most of the stores here. So I may grab some new 6" can leds and a few A19s then test.

Has anyone else noticed there are no 100w LED bulbs in daylight? Just looked at the Sylvania and Cree at Lowes/HD and cant find any.

Can you share the model/skews/or links please? I want to go with something that is tested, tried and true. I dont want to waste a ton of time on testing different brands if I dont have to. I trust your and Tekens opinions and recommendations.

I am sure the bulbs you have are no longer available bc of the age, however do you have any specific skews or links to LEDs you installed recently with Insteon? I dont care about price, I care that they work.

Thanks yeah thats the plan. I did narrow down that flickering only happens when the switchlinc or KPL is dimming the load but happens in all areas with all the other lights turned off leading me to believe either the Cree 6" LEDs are now an issue or another device directly connected to the panel. It is not switch or area specific. The constant from room to room is the Insteon and Cree LEDs. While I am at HD this weekend I may buy some new recessed can LEDs too. Any recommendations? The Cree TW were mentioned in the SH forum as working well. I need "daylight".

Will furnaces, AC, ovens etc cause issues? I am wondering if maybe the switchlincs are getting more sensitive over time and noticing the on/off from these other devices from the power draw itself. Maybe the LEDs are not the problem but it steams deeper into the panel? Im sitting here in the dark with only the kitchen recessed cans on and still seeing the flickering. Im starting to get OCD with stopping it. I turn off the kitchen LEDs recessed cans and go turn on the living rooms recessed cans and they flicker too. Argh!

How can you test a bulb for noise? Is this a hard process? I have some candelabra bulbs I would like to check out. Maybe I could send it to someone here to look at when they had time?
