How does one login to the ISY using port 443 now? No matter what I do the system cries saying it can't be done? The *About* does indicate and confirm the correct UI / Admin 3.3.2 firmware. Java cache along with the Internet browser has been cleared. Installed the latest Java run time with the same secure login errors. I have no problems login via the unsecure method. I attempted to install a new certificate and it appears to make no difference. I have appended a screen capture of the error message. This has nothing to do with firewall / anti-virus as it has all been either turned off or set to be white listed. Seems to have happen since this update?? Teken . . .

The board layout and design from Venstar took these simple problem into account. Obviously, Smarthome did not in this case . . . Teken . . .

I see the 2441TH in the New Device pull down menu but not the 2441ZTH. Do you just use the 2441TH device when adding the 2441ZTH? I'm still interested in these even though I sent my original one back. Does anyone know if they've resolved the triacs heating up the temperature sensors yet? Also, the remote wireless version wouldn't have that problem since it's not actually controlling an HVAC unit. Andyf0, They have not resolved the triac issue as of yet. Teken . . .

You can not use those for the Remote Linc 2. Those plastic chicklets only fit on to a KPL. The buttons on the Remote Linc 2 do not come off. I have used a label maker and over all its acceptable. Teken . . .

I believe this upgrade is intended for the new TSTATS and not for the 1700,1800, 1900 series dongles. Teken . . .

Blueman2, What are you trying to accomplish in doing this? As you stated clearly, attaching the device to another phase would introduce a potential of 240 VAC. That is not something you would like to do or experience should a fault occur. I am curious to know what it is you're trying to activate / sense though. Teken . . .

aLf, I appreciate the feed back and insight. I would humbly suggest that you put the old Generac on sale via EBAY, Craigs List. These dealers are like car dealers, they always try to low ball you when they know the very same item could be sold for more. Please keep us all updated on the new generator and how it performs. Alf, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your personal experience with respect to this generator. I have a few questions for you though as it relates to this incident. How long has the generator been in deployment in your home? Did Generac resolve this issue once you made it known to them that this fault had occurred? What was the cost for the VR device and did you replace it yourself? As apostolakisl stated, I would be keeping an eye on all of the electronics in your home for potential failure. Teken . . .

As a point of reference: I have a few older KPL dimmers in place. I initially used a standard CFL at that location and all was well. During this summer, many thunderstorms have come and gone, at least three times when the power came back on, I found that the KPL was making a terrible screeching noise! It was determined that the CFL was causing this screeching noise to appear at the KPL. I have no doubt these 3 events may have shorten the lifespan of the KPL dimmer. I of course replaced the standard CFL, with a dimmable CFL, cycling power on and off at the breaker to simulate a power failure has confirmed all is well with the new CFL load. I was fortunate enough that someone was home at the time to shut off the breaker, and than remove the CFL loads until I got home to inspect and review the problem fist hand. I can't say that a fire could have started, but know first hand that the KPL and attached load could be damaged given enough time. Teken . . .
